Mary MacKillop Place in Sydney

Mary Mackillop Place is an ideal location to stay when in Sydney. Located in the heart of commercial North Sydney, it is perfect to be the base for visiting any place in Sydney and surrounds.
It is situated a four minute walk from North Sydney train station and within easy downhill walking distance of Milsons Point Wharf. The Greenwood Mall has a variety of eateries and a super market. (Be aware that the mall is closed on Sundays!)
Situated within the busy North Sydney area, it is an oasis of calm and peace. The grounds and buildings are immaculate. Sitting in the serene gardens is idyllic. The history of Mary Mackillop and the sisters is respectfully outlined in the information boards throughout the complex.
The accomodation in Anderledy Lodge is modern, spotless and comfortable with all amenities provided that one would expect.
The daily breakfast provisions in the dining room were outstanding. Plenty of choice to cater for all tastes.
Highly recommended.

At first it being part of a church felt a little odd, but that feeling was quickly forgotten. The room was a great size and was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was perfect. The location was a little out of the way, but that kept things quiet. We were still able to walk down to the harbor and access everything we wanted to.

The hotel is in a quiet part of North Sydney and the room (and corridor) was spacious. The air con was effective and the bed was comfortable. There were stains on the chairs in the room, however, which were a bit off putting and we had no shampoo - I got some from a cleaner. It was a calm place to stay, yet close to restaurants and busier places. What really let it down was the staff at reception who hardly broke breath to us. They were not very welcoming. The breakfast was also disappointing. No hot food and finished early too. Again, the staff weren't particularly friendly. I suppose I would say that it was ok to stay here - very peaceful - but a bit bland.

A wonderful property in North Sydney with beautiful large rooms, an excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, quick access to both the train and metro. Mass is also available on site daily except Saturdays.

Great location for accommodation in North Sydney. Clean comfortable quiet and affordable. Close to railway station.

A wonderfully serene stay in the heart of North Sydney. Only a short stroll to the trains, beaches, shopping etc. My room was very clean with modern amenities. I also appreciate the friendly staff and complimentary brekky. Loved visiting the beautiful chapel for prayers and mass as well. All in all, top notch!

The gardens are a great place to relax or simply bring your picnic lunch and spen the day.

I hoped in yo see the dining area.. Certainly very impressive dining where breakfast is served.
Parking can be costly as with any place in North Sydney

I went here around 11am. It's such a peaceful place, it felt safe even though it was so big and grand. It The lady on staff was so lovely and helpful. I love coming here.
