As a gold Accor member you would expect better service.
Dirty stains on carpet when entering room.
Dirty coffee cups in cupboard. Someone's underwear left on the balcony.
Lift does not work and signage is poor. Basement carpark is shared with another building, signage again is very poor.
Won't be staying here again.

This place is a hazard for safety. Just ask the other guest that found adult toys in their room when they checked in disgusting customer service disgusting hotel wouldn’t even stay there out of desperation. Thanks for ruining our holiday By taking our money for four nights and only allowing us three won’t give us managers names and Number to call he gave out a fake number. Don’t stay at this place, especially if you’re a single person on your own.
Additionally I discovered the USB charger built into the bedside lamp was broken and the other bedside lamp was unplugged on arrival and the light switch in the bathroom was broken.
It really felt like the hotel doesn't pay attention to the details and likley didn't perform a pre-arrival check to make sure the room was fully functional / made the room welcoming for new guests.
The lobby was also very untidy with a large pile of amazon parcels stacked next to the main elevator bank the entire time we were there.
Hotel was comfortable for the purpose of our trip, but at over $500 for 2 nights, I would have expected a little more attention to detail and customer experience.
Overall the rooms were dated and not what I expected at all. Also there was not breakfast available that I could see. Overall not the stay I expected.
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
We decided to have an early dinner at Chatswood concourse. We arrived at 5:03pm and the hostess asked if we had a reservation even though there was no one in the restaurant. We were seated straight away.
There is a large array of food choices on the menu. The food was exquisite. Fresh, tasteful and good size servings.
My husband loves dumplings and usually has his favourites in the area but we thought we would try Shanghai Stories for something different. What a mistake! We didn't receive a warm welcome but shook it off and took our seat. While we were considering our food and wine choice a group sat down next to us and ordered. We ordered straight after them. Our wine arrived and then we sat and waited. The table next to us ate, finished and left and we still waited. When we enquires with a waitress she walked away mid sentence. The manager walked by and when we flagged him down he apologised but offered no compensation. We cancelled our order and left. We found the staff to be rude and un accommodating. Totally understand that mistakes happen in hospitality but it's how the staff deal with it. The manager finally offered us a mango. No thanks.
Won't return and recommend you don't either. Better places to go.
