Sonnhof in Neustift

Peter and his staff are welcoming and efficient. The food was terrific, especially breakfast. My room was lovely, well equipped with TV, nice bathroom and strong Wi-Fi. The hotel itself is utterly charming. And well located. It was with great pleasure that I'd wander before breakfast to a nearby cafe. .What fun to sit outside in the cool air with my coffee and the mountain backdrop and watch Neustift's early risers pass by.

This is a family owned business, and they welcome their guests into their "home" - the service by all staff is beautiful and the meals are gourmet, and fantastic for even a 5* hotel although this is a 4* property. I have been coming here for at least 12 years, bringing clients and family over and over again. Anyone visiting will love the experience and hate to leave! In 2016, I will be bring 19 family members for a Christmas holiday.

I was at the Sonnhof for a week with my hiking group and found it to be charming with a welcoming owner and staff. My room was perfect... with TV, a lovely bathroom, strong Wi-Fi and a view looking down the hill with the alps beyond. The food was very good, especially breakfast. What fun waking early and wandering the streets to the pastry shop, sitting outside with my coffee, taking in the cool air and mountain backdrop and Neustift's citizens passing by.

Our stay at Hotel Sunnhof was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and luxury that set the tone for a truly unforgettable experience.

The **staff** were exemplary, providing attentive and professional service that made us feel truly special. Every meal was delicious, showcasing exceptional quality and care. Our **room** was perfect—beautifully appointed with a breathtaking view of Neustift and the surrounding mountains.

The **spa** was an oasis of tranquility, featuring outstanding facilities and a thoughtful touch with its selection of delicious teas.

In every aspect—staff, food, room, and spa—Hotel Sunnhof exceeded perfection. We highly recommend it and cannot wait to return.

Just returned from a super holiday staying at this hotel for 2 weeks. The Sonnhof is a very well maintained traditional hotel with modern facilities. It's really well run by Peter and his team, all of whom are friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the 4th floor with a superb view of the glacier and, although in the village centre, very quiet. Food was excellent with a mix of traditional Austrian and Italian fare with a variety of other cuisines which kept it all very interesting. Having advised Peter of dietary restrictions at the start of the holiday he ensured there were always options for me. This was much appreciated, as was the best gluten free bread I've ever tasted! Not available in UK sadly! Very impressed with the Sonnhof and hope to return next year.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable warm and quiet. There is balcony with a nice view. Excellent breakfast. Central location. The staff and the hotel owners are very kind. 20 minutes to cable car. There is private parking at the entrance. Strongly recommend.

Very accommodating in a great location

Spaceous comfy room with a view (room Kirchdach), delicious breakfast and a great spa area.

We felt very comfortable. The bathroom is a little bit old but the food, the spa area and the great hosts and their staff make it all good. We drove home very relaxed and refreshed. Thanks very much! We would love to come back.

We stayed at this very good hotel in a top location over the turn of the year. Particularly noteworthy is the staff from the service to the cleaning staff, who do an above-average job and made our stay very pleasant. The absolute hammer was the New Year's Eve menu. Here the kitchen has gone one step further on the already excellent dinner.
