Hotel Augarten in Neustift

Wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, the food delicious, and the location perfect — right across from the bus station, supermarket, and main square. Stephen, Helga, and their professional staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home.

Hotel: The hotel is a lovely, warm, authentic Austrian hotel and very homely. The owners were very nice, as were all of the staff. The hotel has multiple saunas and a steam room to enjoy after skiing, the food and hospitality was excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was room 108, first floor and is very nice. In short, the hotel is pretty much faultless and is small/boutique too with around 25 rooms. Location: It must be the best located hotel in the area. On the flat, the supermarket is your left-hand neighbour, Intersport ski-rental is immediately opposite, the lift pass office is your right-hand neighbour and the ski bus is in front of it. A small selection of shops and restaurants and literally a few hundred yards away. The immediate area is quiet and so the evenings reflect this. It may have been available and we may have missed it, but perhaps a quiet music evening and drinks somewhere would have been nice for one evening of our stay. Skiing: the glacier is superb and very well managed, the slopes wide and perfectly kept and the scenery is stunning. Summary: We would go again and stay at the Augarten, it was that nice, low key and friendly. One of the nicest ski areas we have been too and lovely to go back to Austria again. Congratulations to the hotel; superb!

Helga and her family and staff were wonderful. The food was sensational and the location is great. This is hospitality at its finest. Our only drawback was being too warm in the room in August but we were coming from winter elsewhere. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel located in the very center of a charming town. The nearest shop is a minute's walk away, the skibus stop is just a few meters away. Great staff, always helpful and smiling. Meals (we used the HB board) deserve 5+, the sauna area is worth recommending, we had a really great time there.

What a gem of a hotel! Beautiful exterior, and the indoor decor makes you feel warm and cozy. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming we felt right at home. The rooms are spacious, well thought-out, comfortable and immaculate. We opted to pay a little extra to have dinner included; the meal was delicious. Sadly, our schedule only allowed one night's stay; hopefully we'll get to return for a more leisurely visit.

This hotel is perfect spot for skiing holidays in this area. Perfect location, near everything you need (bus stop, shops, pubs,...) but really quiet at night. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms with balcony and breathtaking views. You can enjoy typical Tyrolean cuisine in hotel restaurant and owners and staff do everything they can to let you to have unforgettable experience so you would come back again. This was our second time in Augarten and hopefully not the last one.

Fantastic family hotel and we are grateful for warm hospitality! The whole team made us feel like at home and we had most wonderful special festive break for Christmas and New Year’s celebration.

The service that all provided is outstanding, all meals were top class, the hotel is very clean and attention to detail throughout especially with decorations so stylish.

Location is perfect as walking distance to village centre; buses stop a few steps away from the hotel. Easy access to ski lifts as one is nearby actually visible from the hotel called Elfer others a short ride by car or bus. The best skiing, we had in Stubaeir Gletscher (15min by car) which has runs for all levels and abilities. Very picturesque ad sunny till early afternoon.

Considering booking summer holiday and must be back for another festive season later this year!

What a great family-run hotel! The meals were delicious. The room was spacious and clean with beautiful mountain views. Incredibly kind staff. The epitome of "Gemütlichkeit."
