Spa Hotel Jagdhof in Neustift

My daughter and I visited the Jagdhof for a second time, as a destination in itself. Worth it, in short, for the first time was great. Second time felt like coming home. Everything from hardware (the hotel, the room, the amount of towels, the spa, etc. etc.; I almost forgot the food [take the half pension option!]) as well as software (staffs' attitude, atmosphere, views, things to do, even the air, etc. etc.) was at minimum very nice. Both visits. We truly recommend the place.

This is such a fantastic hotel. I went there for 5 days as part of a father-son late skiing trip at the end of April/ early May. Everything was perfect in the hotel from the room, to the service level throughout the hotel and the great breakfast and dinner. There was literally nothing that wasn't perfect. We had room 323 which was a very quiet room right next to the river. Value for money was overall very good with a great half board with ample of choices during the buffet breakfast and dinner.

We had an amazing stay at Jagdhof. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind, welcoming, and warm throughout our visit. We loved everything—from the beautiful grounds to the comfortable room and the excellent restaurant. Every part of the experience felt thoughtful and well cared for. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle to the glacier, which made getting there easy and stress-free. This hotel truly thinks of everything, and it shows in every detail of the stay. We couldn’t recommend it more and would absolutely love to return.

We were blown away by this hotel. Originally chosen due to the short transfer from Innsbruck airport to get to the slopes at Stubai Glacier. The hotel is lovely, we booked on a bed and breakfast basis as the town is a five minute walk away where you will find lovely restaurants. We were upgraded to a suite which was really spacious. The bar is lovely and there’s live music every night, perfect for a drink before or after dinner. The breakfast was really good too. The spa is amazing with drinks and fruit available and the fitness room has everything you need. The hotel arranged our ski passes and provides free shuttle to and from the slopes every day which was brilliant, you just need to book your time slot and it’s a 20 min journey. Cakes are also provided in the bar area for you return from the slopes. We can’t wait to comeback. Only point to note we had to book another room on arrival as we didn’t appreciate that if you need twin rooms, one of the beds is a pull out bed which isn’t big enough for a 6ft adult and as we were travelling with our 2 adult sons there wasn’t enough room in the bed. The hotel were great though and we were only charged for half the additional single room rate. Overall a great hotel.

This is a personal review and is written purely from our experience, I understand people view things differently... Firstly, we stayed last week (23/1-26/1) in Room 323 for a long weekend - the room was brilliant - warm, cosy and very comfortable with an outstanding view of the mountains, which became even better after the day/night of snow. It's a view I couldn't help but keep reminding myself of every chance I was in the room. The shower in the room is brilliant. We were not however fans of the restaurant and its policies. Prior to our arrival and after reading other reviews regarding the dinner menus we thought it best to let the hotel know in advance that my girlfriend was vegetarian. As people have said, you are allocated a table when you arrive at the restaurant and this is your table throughout your stay. Now bearing in mind what we had advised the hotel regarding vegetarianism, we were sat in a separate room from the main restaurant which was wall to wall with stuffed dead animals (Not a great seat for a veggie to enjoy) . Not a great start, so after dinner we approached the Restaurant Manager and told him it wasn't a good fit - He said when we come for breakfast the following day they would look at moving us. So the next day, we are moved to a lovely table after a bit of a wait as there had been no message passed onto the breakfast staff, so we had to help make the table up ! - By the time the Manager from the night before arrived we had finished and told him that table was great, is it ours for the rest of the weekend?? He said No, tonight you'll be at your table to keep - Not sure why as that table was obviously free as it hadn't been made up. - So dinner that night, we are moved to a table with a view of the stuffed animal room !!! The manager failed to make eye contact the rest of the time we were there and after that we only had breakfast in the hotel , we ate outside in ANNYS PUB (THE BEST PIZZA). So that wasn't impressive at all, so no points for that. I would suggest getting to breakfast early as its mainly buffet style and the area the food is at isn't very big and it doubles up as the restaurant entrance so can get very busy when people start to arrive, we ate at 7am when it opened and it was fine. We used the spa a lot, it is brilliant. Plenty of different types of heat, cold and relaxation methods. My girlfriend had a massage and she loved that, said it was one of the best she'd had. On a negative point to the spa, to fully relax you have to go into the Spa Chalet where you have to be over 15 years to enter. The indoor/outdoor pool and the outdoor hot tub allow kids and you can't 100% relax as the spa feeling is lost. I understand its not Adult Only but its such a great spa and hotel, it loses a bit of something when you can't enjoy the outdoor hot tub when there are kids in there using it as a pool. The gym opens at 7am, it's small but has plenty of equipment for a morning workout, and if you ask the girl on the Reception

Hotel Jagdhof in the Austrian Alps is simply a beautiful, luxurious hotel where you feel special from the very first moment. The stunning interiors, amazing decorations and wonderful atmosphere immediately set the tone for a perfect stay. The food is outstanding, at a Michelin-level standard, with every course being a true culinary experience. The spacious and very comfortable rooms offer breathtaking mountain views and are perfect for relaxing. The spa and sauna area feels like a little paradise where you can completely switch off. A great bonus is the complimentary hotel transfer to the Stubai Glacier, which makes exploring the mountains even easier and more enjoyable. I have been coming here for over 20 years, and I honestly wouldn’t stay at any other mountain hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing – always smiling, attentive and happy to fulfill any request. Special thanks to our waiter Martin and the lovely Linda for taking such wonderful care of us. Hotel Jagdhof is a place you will always want to return to.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Jagdhof Spa and truly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very cozy, offering a perfect place to unwind after a day in the mountains. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm, elegant, and well organized. The spa and wellness area is excellent and exactly what you expect from a high-end alpine spa hotel — relaxing, spacious, and well maintained. Food was a real highlight. The cuisine was flavorful, nicely presented, and thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast offered a great variety, afternoon snacks were enjoyable, and the caffè latte was smooth and well made. A very special thank you goes to our waiters, Martina and Linda — they were absolutely wonderful. Always friendly, attentive, smiling, and ready to help with anything. Their service truly made a difference and added a very personal touch to our stay. We were also incredibly grateful for the help from the hotel owners and the hotel director when our car broke down. Their personal involvement, kindness, and willingness to assist went far beyond what is normally expected and turned a stressful situation into a manageable one. Overall, Hotel Jagdhof Spa combines excellent service, great food, wonderful wellness facilities, and genuinely caring people. We would happily return and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality alpine

Quiet location near Innsbruck and decent distant from Glacier skiing. The hotel provides a very convenient "door to door" shuttle to the ski hill and the village provides many walking opportunities for hikes, luge or basic shopping. Luge is definitely worth it and done just like the old days! Hotel atmosphere feels like home away from home - warm and cozy - be it at the bar, restaurant or the spa. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Our room looked out to the Glacier and the valley - just magical! Beds were DREAMY, bathrooms spacious and luxurious. Our own little luxury apartment in the Tyrol! The food was exceptional throughout our stay. Michelin star is well earned ! The Spa was the biggest and most complete one I have ever had the privilege of being at. Our most special stay ever and will stay in our memories forever.

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. It is very cozy, spotlessly clean, offers excellent service, a beautiful spa, wonderful staff, and absolutely outstanding cuisine. We stayed for three nights before the Christmas holidays and were completely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I were looking for a luxury romantic ski/spa break with a quick transfer time from the UK and guaranteed snow in early December. Hotel Jagdhof ticks all the boxes. The rooms are modern and luxurious but still retain an alpine feel . The bar and restaurant are cosy and were beautifully decorated for Christmas. All the services you’d expect from a Relais Chateaux 5 star hotel are there . The breakfast is plentiful with pretty much anything you’d like on offer . Dinner is superb - fresh and inventive with a nice selection of options each night . The staff can’t do enough for you. We will definitely be back
