Hotel Gisela in Kufstein

Nice hotel located adjacent to thee train station. It has been sympathy renovated and updated, but still retains it's traditional aspects.
Beds are comfortable, bathrooms have been updated, and it's great value.
There's an excellent pizza place 50m away too.

A gem of a place! Hotel gisela is in operation since 1877. Right next to the train and bus station, BUT still quiet! This makes for very convenient travel options.
Check in was a breeze. Card payment is possible and there are parking space right in front of the hotel
From the hotel it is only about 1km to the business centre and restaurants. (Make sure you don't leave the hotel without accessing you Kufsteinerland ticket. It has bus rides and many free or half price admissions attached to it.)
Don't miss the photo opportunities on your way over the Inn river. Up and down the river the mountains stood high - and like now in the winter, blanketed with snow. As you entered the town, just after the first row of buildings next to the river on the right hand side, there are a hidden alley with the most quint decorations on the buildings. (Keep on through the alley and visit the composer of the Kufsteiner song.
To the left there is an arch that leads you way off i to the past.
OR, continue on the descent and about opposite the Spar on the left, take the step path up to the Kustein Burg and visit the forttess - one can either take the steps uphill or use the funicular to the top. Don't forget to visit the St Vitus church as well as the smaller chapel at the back.
Take bus nr 2 to the Riedel Glass factory, musem and shop. Take tour with their tour guide, she is quite good!
Don't miss out on the ski slope lifts. Whether you are a skiing athlete or just to immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountains.
The breakfast is typical Südtirolisch, but tasty and theres plenty to fill your hunger.
I will abslutely book with them again!

A very nice clean hotel in a very picturesque setting. The major short coming is lack of air conditioning. That’s a big issue in August. Some rooms at least have a ceiling fan. Ours didn’t.

Hotel Gisela was an excellent place to stay. The rooms were spotless, the beds extremely comfortable, located right near the train station making our stay extremely convenient. The town itself is small, so everything—including the city centre and main attractions—was just a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond to meet all our needs. If you’re wondering whether Kufstein is worth a visit, I’d definitely add it to your bucket list.

Recently in December, We booked this hotel in Kufstein. We booked apartment option and to be honest there is ample space for 5-6 people. Room conditions and overall arrangement are very good. As a location this is next to Kufstein Railway station so for travelling purposes this is very convenient.

I stayed only 2 nights. They gave me an apartment room with a fully equipped kitchen (which I didn't use). Everything was very clean, and the bathroom wasn't very large, even with the heating on. Good breakfast with a generous buffet, perfect parking, and a warm welcome upon arrival. Highly recommended.

Good location in relation to the highway and a small cozy town with several restaurants down to the river.
