Alba Hotel & Spa in Baku

They ate our baklava and stolen our universal travel adapter. Worst hotel in my life ever. only the breakfast was good. and the location is quite good because there are many supermarket. but the room stinks ,unclean,smells like cigarettes. The hairdryer doesn’t work. The table looks like eaten by rat. The water kettle is dirty. There is no tissue box in hotel. They don’t provide any toothpaste or brush. You have to buy from outside. The service is very bad. Only one cleaner. who doesn’t know how to talk. Doesn’t understand english. The receptionist behaves like they are taking interview of us. The waiters keep staring at your face while you are eating. If you take too much food they will giggle like they don’t eat only you eat rest of people just strave and live. The ac/heater doesn’t work. I kept baklava in fridge with in an hour of checkout called them told my room number that I forgot my 100+ aed authentic baklava which I brought from gabala and also I forgot my travel adapter but they took another fridge photo and sent me telling there is nothing. Thives!! Please skip this hotel guys. I have never ever seen this type of hotel in my life. The hairdryer vibrates like there is a shortcircuit happenning. Everything is dirty. I told to change my kettle as it was dirty and there were too much dirt floating in water. They just took and washed only with water and provided the same dirt floating kettle again!!!!

My experience at Alba Hotels was extremely disappointing. During my four-day stay, the hospitality was abysmal and the staff exhibited shocking unprofessionalism. Firstly, the WiFi was non-functional throughout my entire stay, despite repeated complaints. Additionally, my friend's room had a malfunctioning AC which was not promptly fixed despite complaints. The most concerning issue arose when we complained about these problems—the hotel staff responded rudely, shouting at us and discouraging further complaints. They refused to change our rooms or provide basic amenities promptly. Upon arrival, the staff's behavior was alarming as they aggressively grabbed our bags without any greeting, which initially made us fear they were attempting theft. We had to chase them to retrieve our belongings. Overall, Alba Hotels failed on every level of service and professionalism. I would strongly advise against staying there
