The distance from the main city centre and the Christmas Markets made this a great location with a relatively quick walk to the station to se other places nearby. Staff were very friendly too.

After an inauspicious start - arrived at noon to drop bags off to find breakfast buffet/ dirty dishes not cleared away - we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed and good shower. Slightly quirky style of room which was very small but perfectly ok for a few days. Breakfast was standard buffet style. Good location for exploring centre of the city.

The hotel is small and centrally situated. However it appeared to be run by students on their time off! They were ill equipped to deal with a busy xmas time.

This hotel was conveniently located and met our needs for the stay in Brussels. Our room was missing a mirror in the bathroom, which was frustrating and had a few faulty things (light, bathroom faucet) but didn’t negatively impact our stay enough to knock off a star. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was convenient for a quick fuel before checking out the city.

Check in easy, nice staff, decent breakfast. Rooms looked pretty however the bathroom mirror was too high. I am an average sized woman (5’5) and I couldn’t see myself. It made it difficult to get ready. A full length mirror would have been ideal to add to the room to accommodate for different heights. I am currently staying at this hotel. The staff is lovely and has a very good sense of service. It is so rare to have people who actually care about you. It is 23h30 and I've been asked if everything was fine and if I wanted a coffee while going out to smoke. It means a lot to me. In addition, the room is nice, comfy and clean; you really get a lot for your money here. Thank you so much.

The entrance to the hotel is confusing - it is through a different hotel and there is no staff to explain this. The room and especially the bathroom was a bit cold. The elevator is very slow. Hotel is very close to the train station and to a few nice breakfast options. The room was clean and OK. No kettle in the room.

The room has been renovated and is clean, with no particular issues. Shampoo and body soap are provided as amenities. Although I didn't notice any construction noise, the hotel lobby and other areas seemed to still be undergoing renovation. The entrance shown in the uploaded photos is the main one, but it's not always accessible. It's unclear when it can and cannot be used. If this entrance is unavailable...

I really like the location of the hotel. It is very good area to walk around and near the Nord station and Rogier station so it made more convenient for me to go one place to another place. And also just a minute walk to the bus stop. You just take bus number R26, it will take you straight to the Brussels National airport and only cost 3 euro.

Very good, mainly because the transportation is convenient and it feels quite safe. The hygiene is acceptable.

The location for a woman is poor. I was there only one night and was followed and harassed in the area in both the day and night multiple times. As for the hotel itself, it was okay inside but very run down. I‘m not convinced any surface was clean to be honest. Nice hotel but the receptionist wasn’t very friendly. He never allowed me my friend to come Inside my room as he haven’t an ID with him. Please note that no visit are allowed from 11pm.

We booked this because our train was cancelled and we had to stay in Brussels for one more night. Great location. Garbage bin was not cleaned when we checked in.

Aside the environs outside the hotel which wasn’t neat, our stay at the hotel was so pleasant. Rooms were neat and just perfect. We enjoyed our stay. Proximity to eateries and tourist sites was a plus

The room was okay, not the best but acceptable for the price. The corridor leading to our room was very narrow and full of cleaning supplies and tools, which made it difficult for us to take our luggage to the room. The corridor (and the reception too) smelled like a mixture of cigarettes and sewage.

Visiting Brussels for a concert at the Cirque Royal, we found this hotel to be good value for money. Public transportation is nearby, allowing you to reach the city center or even on foot. Hotel parking is available. Friendly staff; we'll be back.

It is close to the train station and the transportation is very convenient, but the facilities are rather old. The soundproofing is not good and the rooms near the train station are too noisy.

The hotel is about an 800-meter walk from Brussels North Station. It feels quite safe walking to the north station from the west along the main road, as that area is a business district. The room wasn't noisy at night either, and the small convenience store downstairs was open very late. Grand Place is just over 1 kilometer away, making it very convenient for getting around.

The location of the hotel is great, and the rooms are very spacious. However, the hotel itself is quite old. One of the lights kept flickering, and there weren't many power outlets. The shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom came in tiny tubes, no larger bottles. If you're staying in the area, I'd recommend the newer Thon Hotel across the street instead.

A very well located functional hotel with an especially good breakfast option. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, with character and good heating. It was an easy walk from many interesting sights and points of interest, such as the Grands Place, Christmas markets, Gare Centrale... For those not fooled by stars or outward appearances, it's a great accomodation.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. It is in the middle of all the action! We will definitely stay here again!

We were traveling as a family with two small kids. This hotel is fantastic! The owner was super friendly and warm welcome us. We spent 3 nights here and our room was gorgeous. A nice Art Nouveau place due to the special taste of the owner/operator. She has an architecture background and likes to populate the hotel and the rooms with a variety of pictures and furniture objects. Excellent breakfast!

This place is fascinating, full of character and memories. The hotel has 8 rooms with an easy access to transport and city centre. Rooms are very spacious, and each has a very different personality! It is more like being in a dreamland... The host is very kind and attentive and breakfast is perfect. Highly recommended.

Excellent little hotel in a good location

The staff at this hotel is an absolute standout. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. Every request was met with a prompt and gracious response. The concierge was especially helpful, offering fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is good. The vintage bar downstairs is good with amazing food. Rooms and washroom are big enough for two people with good window view. The only part which they lack is not providing kettle in the room and no washroom basics like soap,shampoo and dental kit.

The bathroom was okay, it had one of those “european” handheld shower heads instead of it being fixed on the wall, which makes me get cold when I shower. The hotel staff were nice and helpful with places to visit. The rooms were a bit small with a view of the park and church from your window. The breakfast offered in the morning is enough to start your day with breads, cold cuts , juice and fruits. There is a hotel bar located downstairs. The wifi can be spotty with no service in the rooms.

My stay at the hotel was excellent. The location is ideal for exploring Brussels comfortably. Everything was very clean and in perfect condition. Hotel Kreutzwald has an excellent location, just a short walk to the Grand Place and a 3-minute metro ride away. It offers great value for money, but the rooms are small with poor soundproofing, and the breakfast is basic. The elevator is also quite old. It's ideal for short-term travelers on a budget who prioritize location over amenities.

The hotel really surprised us! The family room was spacious we only used the sofa bed because it was larger, and our son sleeps with us in the same bed. The sofa bed is very large and comfortable. I didn't know the room would have a full kitchen, but it does - stove, fridge, cabinets, and microwave. There's also a round table with four chairs, and it's quite big. An excellent TV with local channels...

The location and environment are great and convenient. However, the sunken bathtub is really ridiculous. There's nowhere to hang the showerhead, so you have to hold it in your hand the whole time. And the fact that it's a double sink really shocked me.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast area is well decorated, and I enjoyed sitting there and having a coffee. They have a pool table by the bar that my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed. They didn't have anymore parking available but I was able to find parking on the street.

One of the best Ibis properties I have stayed at, location is extremely convenient with the bus stop being just opposite to the hotel. Room was decent sized and clean. I didn’t eat at their restaurant so cannot comment about the food. Definitely recommended for all travellers!

The location is tucked away, which made it nice and quiet, but unfortunately it was a bit too far from the train station to be convenient, so I wouldn’t really recommend it if you need easy access to transport. Had a walk around the area- not many people or cars - very peaceful. Not a massive breakfast selection but nice enough . Staff very pleasant and very helpful. Room clean and comfortable.
