I booked in last minute, travelling solo for two nights. My expectations for the room were low but I was way off!! Don’t be fooled by the great price-and book direct.

The rooms have been refreshed and feel brand new. Great bed and everything else.

But the best quality so far has been the people, especially Nina! She deserves a pay increase boss! The most helpful, happy, positive person that I’ve encountered in a month in Bulgaria.

Bicycle tourist here. There is a space that has a door. It’s a hallway where you can put your bike. You can lock your bike to furniture. It’s… probably safe.

The girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant is good as well.

Rooms are nice and quiet. Loved the hotel all around. I would stay here again

The hotel is located near the American University. The rooms are comfortable, clean and warm. Access to the rooms is done through the stairs. In the room there is a small refrigerator, a small TV, a closet and a work desk. The price-quality ratio is pleasing. In the hotel there is a bar and restaurant where you can order in the room. I go regularly there. Once I forgot my suitcase at the hotel and when I came back I found it without touching anything. I fully recommend this hotel.

A simple, comfortable hotel in Blagoevgrad. Location is excellent--particularly if you are going to the new campus of the American University, which is less than 100 meters away. The center of the city is less than a ten minute walk. The Cardinal also houses one of the best traditional Bulgarian restaurants in Blagoevgrad, with a particularly nice garden setting. The rooms are small, there is no elevator, and there is only street parking, but the beds care comfortable and if your needs are basic you'll enjoy Cardinal.

IN JAMES BOUCHER A GOOD HOTEL,WITH A GOOD RESTAURANT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BUILDING. NORMAL PRICES,GOOD SERVICES,GOOD FOOD.SUITABLE FOR COUPLES,LOCATED CLOSE TO THE CENTER,NOT IN A NOISY PLACE.

This is our go to show hotel the rooms are cheap and you can bring animals. Yeah it's not the biggest hotel but you can still find free rooms. The restaurant downstairs is the restaurant I've grown in. Our family has been going there since we moved in our apartment. The food is excellent the waiters are friendly what more could you ask for

I stayed here for 3 days.
Must say i didnt expect a two star hotel to be so nice.
Spacious room , nice garden where to have breakfast. Good service. I had dinner too . They are very good in cooking fish, that is fresh from Greek .
The people at the reception on mornings and at the door during evening can speak english.
The city is lovely and cosy .

The only place in town to eat a proper food and dishes. They use good ingredients not the cheapest ones, they have real cooks that cook the food. They have proper waiters that know how to service. And the price are very acceptable, especially if you go for launch they have the special launch menu where in my opinion the price is cheap for the quality and service they offer. You can get full for 10 lv or less. Try the deserts, my favorite is the Banana bread.
