Where to stay in Nessebar

Small hotel in a quiet area which was exactly what we wanted. The staff were great and helped us with anything we asked for. Lovely continental breakfast available for a small additional charge. The only fault was that our balcony was very small and narrow but other rooms do have bigger balconies. It's a listed building so they can't do anything about the balconies. Extraordinarily pleasantly surprising Holiday Exprience. Comfy, clean, great view, good and not expnsive food at he ground floor restauant. And the personnel has been top notch, even when tired because the terrace was full. Thanks for a great experiene for our 3 years anniversary of our marriage!

I spent a lot of time at the hotel since I was sick 🤪 The room was spacious and comfortable. AC worked well. Bed was comfy, sheets were soft, pillows were cushy. We stayed here in September 2023. Very friendly staff. Small, disappointing rooms. In our room the WiFi signal was very weak. Some rooms have a balcony with sea view. The hotel has 3 floors but no elevator! In front of the hotel 4 cars can be parked and if you make an advance request you might be able to put your car here. We were in a double room and additional bed. Everything was great. Pools and pool bar were also great. I remove 1 star because it the Russian restaurant and its staff which were terrible and rude.

Loved the hotel conditions, good personnel care

Place is nice and clean, great pools and quite close to the beach. However... It's a huge pain to find - no signs and as far as I know, the only way to get in to reception is to either have somebody let you in, or call and try to figure out which of countless gates they are going to meet you. Walking to and from the beach is another experience, narrow dirty road that looks like it has come under bombardment...

Room was a good size as for this kind of a hotels, plenty of storage places, small fridge, working tv however Bulgarian channels only, well working air condition and a welcome drink at the arrival, that all goods. Big a major issue is cleanliness, dirty bathroom that should experienced deep cleaning immediately. We were there 7 days and for all this time no one ever do the bed or change bedclothes...

The receptionist was very welcoming! All right for 1 night. Situated in a quiet place in a new town of Nessebur.Not far from the centre, old town.Easy to find. My room had AC,TV, was clean.Bed comfortable.I had a good night:) Thank you again!

Everything was provided as promised. It was spotlessly clean, smelled wonderful upon entering, and we found crisp, ironed sheets and towels. Rooms are dated but clean, comfortable beds and bedding changed weekly. Evening meals were delicious. Breakfast was a continental but they would cook you eggs any way you wanted and bacon, sausage on request. Hotel Flora is a great value, no frills type of establishment. The owners, Angel and Vania are lovely and speak basic English. Angel was super helpful with bags when we arrived, both very obliging and kind. We arrived at the hotel Flora in the early hours the owner helped us to the room with our cases. There are no lifts so not suitable if relying on a lift. This is an old building in a quiet side street. It isn't polished or clinically clean but it's peaceful, friendly and a nice place to chill out and relax. The owner is virtually a one man band and cannot do enough to help you with anything you need. The location is ideal for the town and the beaches and there's a good supermarket nearby. Fot the price it is a bargin. 10 minutes walk from beach, maybe 10 - 15 min from old town. Came on motorbike and was allowed to put bike behind fence, that is very big plus for us.

Hotel is in great location. Staff is extremely friendly and kind. We traveled for business and I didn't expect that I would need to buy myself soap for a 4* hotel. Soap dispensers are unacceptable for a hotel! Location is great and they have parking which is fantastic.

Not sleep there but had every morning breakfast there,u choose from a breakfast menu. We had lunch at the restaurant in this hotel, and we all four friends walked away unhappy. The young girls working as waitresses have a major ego and attitude. Answering questions about the food seemed a major chore. The head waiter was trying to be polite , however his manner also seemed to be patronising. The fish meals and pizza that we ordered were second grade as the pizza crust was not fresh...

Must say going to Bulgaria in Nessebar was quite the experience i did not expect after only seeing the Romanian beaches and people. St. John Nesebar is a lovely hotel in a perfect location—right in the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, with great views. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Ideal for a relaxing getaway or a cultural trip. Would definitely come back! It’s my 3rd year already.

The service definitely prefers customer satisfaction over immediate cash gain. Staff speaks excellent English and acts very professional. Oh, and the hotel´s location right by the entrance way to Old Nessebar is just awesome. I can definitely recommend this place to my best friends.

Lovely elegant rooms. Large spacious, light and airy. Not your standard tourist fare. Breakfast is adequate though not the best around. Excellent location with good views from restaurant and most rooms.

The hotel is in the best place. It is right at the edge of the new city with a beautiful view of the old city. Both the old city and the new one are within walking distance. The room we booked for our stay was very comfortable and had a great view. There is also parking for the guests of the hotel. The staff at the reception desk were very polite and helpful. Overall a very good experience.....

I am genuinely baffled by some of these bad reviews. I can only put it down to people being extremely petty. If you want to find something to complain about, you will anywhere you go. But I honestly can’t think of anyone worth complaining about. The pools are spot on, plenty of sunbeds, and the beer is cold! What more do you need. The place is clean, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to bars...

Foods great, entertainment is questionable with the animation team enjoying stripping on stage to their underwear in front of children, one member having nothing but a hat to cover his privates. Nice hotel in a resort with two 4* and one 5* hotel, with large rooms, decent furniture. The food was plenty, diverse and of good quality. One pool, (the second for kids is like a bathtub), not enough as dimensions for all the people, with sunbeds crowded like seats in a cinema, half of them in shadow in the afternoon. However - the hotel is dedicated for FAMILIES - avoid it unless you have noisy kids...

Child friendly. All activities nearby , only few minutes walk from beach/ aquapark and many more. Surrounded by green area and trees close to the beach. Snacks / plenty of food all day long.
