Hotel is in great location. Staff is extremely friendly and kind.
We traveled for business and I didn't expect that I would need to buy myself soap for a 4* hotel. Soap dispensers are unacceptable for a hotel!

Fantastic hotel, incredibly clean and well presented rooms, food was top class and very generous portions. Couldn't ask anymore from the staff, absolutely brilliant. I can't recommend this hotel enough, it's the 3rd time visiting and it just gets better all the time

Not sleep there but had every morning breakfast there,u choose from a breakfast menu.
It's delicious, u getting also xtra a lot fruits ,a bulgaria bantitza ,orange jus ,coffee or if u want something else .

We had lunch at the restaurant in this hotel, and we all four friends walked away unhappy. The young girls working as waitresses have a major ego and attitude. Answering questions about the food seemed a major chore. The head waiter was trying to be polite , however his manner also seemed to be patronising. The fish meals and pizza that we ordered were second grade as the pizza crust was not fresh, and the fish meals too oily. The kitchen forgot to put potatoes on my main meal and my drink never arrived. To sum it up if you don’t want a bad day, I recommend to stay away from this restaurant. For the owners I can only say this, that sack your current team and start with some fresh blood.

Great hotel, great restaurant, great position, great food+quality and great people + included parking.
Must say going to Bulgaria in Nessebar was quite the experience i did not expect after only seeing the Romanian beaches and people. However Romania has become extremely expensive and simply worth not year.
At St. John the Baptist we had a great interaction with the reception, we could leave and return from the city whenever we wanted and the hotel staff was polite and welcoming.
The hotel has a modern & stylistic architecture based on the ruins of the island, the rooms are clean and offer all the facilities, from tv to electricity to a mini-fridge to a clean bathroom to a balcony (if you want).
Oh yes and if you don't want to pay parking at the North Parking Lot, then you should know the Hotel has its own parking spot for free (you have to enter the pedestrian streets).
You have 2 meals included which are MORE than enough to satisfy your hunger and that truly match the menu.
The food is high quality and the produce is fresh, you are given a lot of variety on the base meals (also check out the St. John Breakfast) and i guarantee you will be full by the 2nd dish.
The only thing you need to pay for additionally is drinks, and that if you are in need for more than what the great base menu already offers you (daily coffee, tea, juice, water etc).
Oh yes and you are ALSO given your own coffee machine in your room which is refilled daily for you to make your own coffee.
Much like the whole island, the hotel respects your privacy and it is silent on the inside. No loud neighbors, no hassle, to fighing no nothing. The onky thing you are certain to hear are the seagulls and that's it.
The hotel+restaurant staff were also wholesome and profesional.
Restaurant 24, which is affiliated with hotel St. John, has young, polite, beautiful and jolly waiters that move fast, that can earnestly understand a bit of Romanian, French, German and know a good deal of English, all besides mother Bulgarian.
And allll of this without talking about the great positioning on the island, as you wake up each morning in the middle of the island, in front of all the ruins and between both the beach and the fun.
Genuinely great experience. Love from Romania to Bulgaria.

St. John Nesebar is a lovely hotel in a perfect location—right in the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, with great views. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Ideal for a relaxing getaway or a cultural trip. Would definitely come back! It’s my 3rd year already.

I've known the hotel for 7 years, but the worst impression left me this year. Probably the owner has changed and the service leaves something to be desired. The hotel is located in the center of Nessebar and had the prestige of being the most sought after place for discerning tourists. Now it lacks specialized staff in tourism services, service and administration is done with employees who seem to be seasonal. Although friendly, they are poorly trained. You can't eat anything in the hotel restaurant, even if it is offered in the price. Everything is improvised and what you have on your plate doesn't match the picture and description on the menu. In the hotel rooms there were no more incestiments and the furniture suffered. Even though it's relatively clean, the beds are creaky, the furniture is missing doors and the toiletries in the bathrooms are makeshift. The WiFi has signal sometimes. I'll probably never go back there again as long as the hotel remains in this state of presentation.
