Hotels in Sarnitsa

-friendly and helpful staff - easy to reach location. quiet environment - quality breakfast - good cleaning - excellent value for money

The hotel is relatively new, clean, well maintained. Staff extremely friendly. The cuisine in the restaurant, tasty and well prepared. Our room had a view of Dospat Dam. We really liked it, we would do it again for sure.

The hotel itself is lovely with beautiful rooms and a unique location. The hygiene in the rooms could be improved. For 4 nights they did not change our bed linen. The breakfast is good, but the all-you-can-eat food is of very low quality and at very high prices. The staff is polite and helpful. Overall it is a wonderful place, peaceful and with a unique design and privacy.

Its a good place, good food and not very expensive

What a nice surprise 😀. Extremely nice place along the lake "in the middle of nowhere"! Great cabins (could be a little bit upgraded), nice restaurants with good food and very nice people working. If you want to relax for a few days, run away from the daily system.... this is the perfect place! One important thing to know: the last 4.5km are dirt road, and not in the best shape. Specially after rain...

Amazing place! We fell in love with it at first sight. We went two years in a row, but unfortunately they put up the prices drastically. There is a 6km bicycle or hiking route around the dam. Another hiking trail towards a nearby tiny dam too.

The accommodation was quite good. The restaurant is a total disaster, both service wise and food quality wise. A bit overpriced for the offering, yet a nice location and surroundings.

Very nice and calm place perfect for family holiday or a group holiday with friends. It is placed in the forest and very near to Shiroka polyana. There is a restaurant and a lot of houses for guests.

Clean and nice with wonderful view in a wonderful place. The breakfast could be better and needs a bit better indoor maintenance.

nice and calm. extremely beautiful nature. magic forest around. good for family vacation with lot's of activities available. bring with you warm clothes even in July

Very well maintained surrounding, delicious breakfast with local specialties. My room was big and clean. The SPA area (3 pools and a whirlpool) sufficient. A really unexpected nice hotel in this small village.

good rooms, the restaurant's service is below average

The hosts are very polite and hospitable. The food is great, prices too. The pool is small and needs renovation but is nice and indoor for bad weather.

Pleasant atmosphere, perfect service and reasonable prices.

Nice homemade meals and warm customer service.

We stayed at Paradise Spa Hotel for two nights with our two children and had a generally positive experience. The strongest points were definitely the cleanliness, the outdoor pool and the facilities for families. The pool area was excellent: very clean, plenty of comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, covered seating areas and a shallow section that was perfect. our kids also loved the indoor playroom...

As other people mentioned, no lifeguards. The food is tasty. The rooms are quite nice and comfortable

Nice location ,good hotel , beautiful view, normal food with good presentation and typical Bulgarian service with answers of my questions every time with :” I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ ☺️😂

There is no elevator to the second floor. The food and service are very nice.

The place was amazing! It is in a calm quiet area, well maintained and has a really good spa center and open yard to just chill or for kinds to play around. There are lot of parking stops. The restaurant was really nice as well with good variety - the lunch was served really fast and it tasted goos. The dinner and the breakfast were on a all you can eat table and they had some interesting stuff like...

Decent value for 3 star hotel. Rooms are clean. Food is delicious, BUT a bit expensive. So bear in mind when you visit the restaurant

It was my first visit to Balneo SPA Hotel Sveti Spas in 10 years, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Velingrad itself is a beautiful mountain town, and the hotel’s location on the outskirts is quiet and relaxing. The facilities are nice and well-maintained, and the food is plentiful and delicious. The only downside is that while the hotel advertises itself as 5-star, it doesn’t quite meet...

Very nice hotel and spa experience in Velingrad. Would say 4-star hotel, not quite 5star standards but very good. Two large pools and good hot tub and sauna options. Playroom for children, billiards and games. Buffet food was good, not the best ever but good for a buffet. Massage and therapy options are amazing. The therapist is very good and can provide numerous treatments. Relaxation massages...

Great hotel. Great service! Top location near the river and right next to the big forest. Perfect view and surrounding. Quiet place, without any noise from anywhere. We where able to hear the birds singing and the water from river float. Clean and hot waters in every swimming pool and jacuzzi. We where there for 3 nights, and my kids loved it so much. We have a hard time to leave. The kids cry when...

Rooms are great, facilities are ok and clean, although if the hotel gets full I'm not sure how it will handle the guests (pools are crammed with about 20-25 people). Staff is polite. Very close to Velingrad south train station, but sadly with no safe passage for pedestrians - no sidewalk. Away from the city center, so plenty of fresh air. The only problem is the price, but.... sadly 5* doesn't mean...

The outdoor swimming pool was excellent. The food was anything special and the same every day.

I stayed there in 2018 and 2019 and I was about to stay there in 2023, but unfortunately things didn't go as planned! However, I'll never forget about this great place that's always made my holiday better! It's located outside of Velingrad in a quite and peaceful area, surrounded by trees and mountains with a bus stop right in front of the hotel connecting it to the town! When it comes to the convenience...

Very kind and smiling hosts. The food is simply wonderful. The walk to Eagle's Eye was great and the torrential rain that poured on the way back made the adventure even more extreme.

Incredibly cozy atmosphere and hospitable hosts. Pets are welcome. The food, oh the food is incredibly delicious, homemade from breakfast to dinner. And not only that, the desserts are incredibly delicious. The surprises did not stop there, the hosts offer a jeep ride to the most beautiful corners of the Rhodope Mountains.

I will write a review for this house with great pleasure, because I came across truly kind and friendly hosts! From our check-in to our departure, the smile never left their faces. They responded to our every wish! The house is very clean and cozy. And there is nothing more to say about the food, except wonderful! I felt the taste of the real things, from breakfast to dinner. I ate Krasi's mekitsi...

We loved our stay, thank you so much. The place was perfect for our holiday, the hosts were great with their communication and there was lots to do in the area. Would stay here again and we have recommended to friends and family. Thanks again.

One of the greatest places I have ever visited! The most hospitable hosts, uniquely delicious homemade food, great views, terribly clean and maintained! The homemade mekis were at the highest level, the homemade jam and the homemade raspberry juice too! We also took advantage of the off-road walk to Eagle's Eye, which the family offers and was an unforgettable experience! Without any remarks at all...

Great! Very friendly, kind and considerate people. The food is insanely delicious. The house is very nice with a cozy yard, extremely clean. Quiet and peaceful place to which I would certainly return.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it’s adults only, which makes a big difference. The service was good overall, and you can tell the staff is genuinely trying to meet international luxury standards, but they need more training to do so. The spa is spacious and nicely designed, though it can get quite busy around the pool on weekends since there aren’t many sunbeds available. Our room was...

Great spa hotel. All was great except that the cleaning lady made 2 times a mistake to try to enter our room why we are inside. All other was top, food, spa, hotel.

this is a true 5 star hotel. big luxurious rooms, a wonderful spa, a lot of comfortable public space. the staff is friendly, helpful, professional. the disappointment rose from the food for which the hotel is famous. the buffet is very rich but not one dish was outstanding. most of the dishes that should be served hot, like scrambled eggs, bacon, pies....where cold or lukewarm at best. the meat served...

Lovely spa hotel, the athletics are amazing and very lix feeling. Slightly on the pricy side though.

Excellent facility, beautiful spa. Well-stocked and very good buffet.

I really don't understand why the owners don't update the information about the hotel. It is a top 5 stars hotel, not 3 stars as it is written. I've been to 34 countries, and this is the best mountain hotel ever been to. It has also some Michelin accreditations. The service and the facilities in the hotel are the same level as the top 5 stars hotels in the Alps.

Exceptional Stay with an Incredible Team! We had an unforgettable vacation at Hotel Aquatonic, and while the facilities are great, it is the staff that truly makes this place special. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made our stay so comfortable and welcoming: Physiotherapy & Health: A huge thank you to Boyan and Vasiliy for their high level of professionalism, and to...

One of the nicest places I have stayed in Bulgaria . I am visiting the place minimum twice per year .The hotel is clean, the rooms are large and nice, the food is great with a big variety, the massages are very good, and the staff is more than excellent, always smiling and ready to help. The water in the pools is clean and there are many types of spa. I highly recommend on your visiting to check...

Overall the hotel is nice, we liked the buffet food, the spa is big and has lots of amenities, the room was big and spacious. At lunch time however - we waited more than 30 mins for two SOUPS, one came and the other they told me after all the waiting - had been finished, which left me angry and hungry. Not to mention I am also pregnant. I wasn’t going to wait god knows how long for something else...

Excellent service, good location. The spa is very good. The hotel is old but was very clean. We had a one-room appartment. The rooms were big, only the sofa wasn't very comfortable. The prices in the minibar were acceptable. We had breakfast and dinner included. The food was very delicious. You can have lunch in the restaurant, good price, delicios food and perfect service.

Nothing bad to say here. I visit this place for second time after two years and the quality of this hotel as always brilliant!

Wonderful mineral water and facilities. Few things showing age but kept clean and functional overall (important). Lovely place for a family vacation in mountain air and amazing mineral water source.

Like it! specially the hot springs and sauna. Dinner was great

I visited this hotel on a halfboard basis as part of a cycling tour operated by Penguin Travel. Unfortunately we arrived late to the hotel so I didn't have time to experience the spa facilities. My room was 514, and at the back of the hotel, accessed via a lift. The room was not the biggest of rooms, it was very clean, however it was very outdated (old). Luckily, the bed was fairly comfy, so I had...

Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great.

Do not be fooled by the outside looks. The Inside is absolutely amazing. The location of the outdoor poor is perfect! The sauna, steam bath and all facilities are impeccable. Staff are really very polite. Breakfast was delicious and had vegan/Vegetarian options. I totally love this place. Tips: 1. If taking the train, get down at velingrad-jug(south) station. It is 10 mins walk from there. 2. Do not...

Good place to relax and enjoy your time off. Usually crowded, but there is room for everyone. The one big disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning in that facility. You can try to compensate by having the windows open, but that depends on your room location. We ended up staying in a slow air-draft spot and it was quite warm, sometimes even uncomfortable. The pool is in good condition, the...

A nice place to take care of yourself! Everything is acceptable except the management of the restaurant, I don't think she knows how to manage a restaurant, she is nothing more than a waitress!

It was a really good place to stay in the people were nice and everything was great I recommend it

The good: good location in the old part of town and the spa is just ok, although the sauna had broken benches. The bad: breakfast is horrible just horrible, hotel maintenance is very bad, overall the hotel is dirty, the staff is rude and lacks basic soft skills. Room cleanup during the day was very bad, the bathroom was not touched. During the night, the heating system broke down so we were cold. ...

Big rooms with a terrace. The spa and the pools are great, with a mineral water. 2 indoor pools plus a jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna, relax room and a gym, plus outdoor pool. It's a bit far away from the centre, in a peaceful area. We've been here with a 4month old baby and enjoyed it. I recommend it!!

Excellent service for a very accessible price.

The hotel itself is OK, but it is strange to be in a hotel that pretends to be 4* and the sheets on the bed and the towels to be changed once in a week.

A very nice hotel. The restaurant is just OK.

We are guests, in the town of Velingrad, of the cozy Spa Hotel "Holiday", from 01.08.to 05.08.2021. We were greeted and accommodated with respect and attention, even at a different time than agreed. I hasten to share about the uniquely delicious dinner on 01.08.2021 prepared with "Love" by the radiant chef / chef / Maria and assistant Eli. Keep smiling and with "Love" prepare the food as you girls...

Great family hotel at a very good price. It has indoor and outdoor pools for complete relaxation. 500 meters from the iconic lake Kleptuza

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.

Dangerous stairs in wet/cold weather. Good hair stylist.

Guesthouse Kris is an amazing place on top of a hill from which you can see the whole town. And also we were in the apartment with the biggest terrace which is very convenient. At night you can see lots of stars which is very beautiful. The room was cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the welcome was very warm. The lady at the reception was super helpful and smiling and we had a great time. We...

Beautiful location but too far away from downtown. The restaurant is not fantastic. Poor card

A wonderful place with excellent staff and food! The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the view from the hotel is stunning! I strongly recommend Kris guest house!

Very nice and helpful staff, good food.

The view of the room was amazing. Good service and kind people. The breakfast was tost with malted chees and ham. Very yummy 😋

Very friendly staff. Always smiling. The view is beautiful and there is a big yard with grass and it's child-friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Wonderful place! Great staff, nice rooms, clean and large spa areas and big pools. The nearby bowling and billiards make it a perfect place for a family holiday. The live club is a must.

I actually liked the hotel, there's a swimming pool, spa, saunas, fitness, bowling, restaurant, and even a indoor playground for the kids! its up on the hill on velingrad next to olymp spa centre, 4 stars cuz the shower that u can hold is stuck on the second hole after the less-controllable one and the lock on the bathroom is maybe broken.

I had a really pleasant stay at Grand Hotel Velingrad. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The pools and spa facilities are excellent — definitely one of the highlights of the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt organized and professional. The only small downsides were that the AC in my room wasn’t working properly, and one of the lamps...

Actually, this is an advanced 3-star (3, not 5!) hotel, complemented by a large spa complex with several hot-, mild- and cold-spring pools and saunas. Breakfast and dinner are below the most modest expectations. The service is very poor, including receptionists, waiters in restaurant and technicians repairing the room door and safe – they simply don't understand what has to be a 5-star hotel. Wi-Fi...

Mid in general but the cleaning lady was so nice I love her 3rd floor it was the greatest part of the hotel. Interior was good, but our TV didn't work properly.

location really depends. it’s the best in town from all of them hotels if you like a quiet place, but not really close to the centre and other places. pretry great views and all, food is great, i think it can be done better for sure.

We had a great SPA vacation overall. However, our room was one of the old ones.

Nice and cosy hotel however the pool and the Spa showers are quite dirty which is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are clean and the food is great

While Velingrad hotels are very overpriced this one is an exception. Just book a renovated room and you’ll enjoy it. Most importantly the staff here is extremely nice and caring

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff is polite and friendly, the rooms are bigger than usual. The spa is clean and tidy. Food is delicious, the restaurant has nice view.

Just the place I have been dreaming of for vacation with the family. Great food! Awesome pool.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Option for free breakfast and dinner.

As a person who has been working in the hotel sector for many years with the top hotels around the world I could say many things but for that price I will keep it for myself. The only thing I have to say is that you ONLY have to pay cash and you CANNOT pay by card. In general it's alright.

Careful! The place is abandoned, at least in winter time (January) Still got the best architecture in the town though

Very nice place and good relaxing.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel.

Not a bad hotel, it had secure parking but that's not really an issue in this town which had many other hotels often offering good deals

Devin is a beautiful bulgarian town and there's a lot of stuff to see close to it. The hotel rooms are good, they are big and clean, the service is where they lack, you can't have a 5 star hotel jusy becouse the grounds are good the rooms are good and the spa is ok, you need to have people that want to work there, they are rude not willing to do any compromise about anything and just in general not...

In the hotel everything is brand new, beautiful design and most important clean SPA. They have many rooms for sauna, steam room, salt room, pools. The restaurant is very nice and the food is amazing. The staff exceptional. I can not write even 1 bad thing. We will come to visit in the future for sure.

Excellent hotel, staff is very friendly and professional. Sparkling clean.

We did not stay at this hotel, so I cannot say anything about rooms or service. But the staff at the Service desk was really great. We came in to ask for help and they tried to find info on their phones and where really friendly. Thanks for your help!

The hotel is lovely and we enjoyed the spa zone, the food and the entertainment facilities. While the hotel is situated in the centre of town and our room was overlooking the street, we didn’t hear any traffic noise at night - perfect for people who are looking for convenience, peace and quiet. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very large and beautifully designed. The staff are absolutely wonderful...

One of the best spa hotels I have visited. The food is amazing, the staff are very professional. It looses one star because they did let two people with dogs in the hotel, also in the restaurant. Edit: I did put it back to 5 stars because of the service in the restaurant. The waiters are very good.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels so far, but this is probably the first time I’ve experienced a hotel closing its restaurant area for a party and allowing loud music to play until 3:30 AM. Being woken up by the noise and then going down to the lobby only to be met with an indifferent attitude from the staff made the experience even more disappointing. These are behaviours that definitely do not suit...

Nice rooms, friendly staff, good spa

An incredible hotel with nature view, cozy, spacious, the design is simply top notch, a great spa center with incredible treatments, the food is fresh and wonderfully cooked, the desserts are unique, the lobby bar is superb and the staff are more than friendly, I recommend everyone to visit this hotel to experience all of this in person!

The experience is very good and the staff is very kind and they are exceptional at their work. The food was great. I liked it very much.

A very nice place to stay but some small maintenance issues should be addressed to make the hotel like it was 4 years ago

Hi,I am from Kosovo 🇽🇰 and I would like to share my experience with you. Personally the service was really good the food was good most importantly the plates and the forks were clean, ther room’s were great they wer clean the sheets were clean and it seemed really nice, my experience in the pool was really good the water was warm and clean personally i would recommend it 100%. Love from Kosovo 🇽🇰❤...

The hotel location is good and has good views. The staff was good and helpful The standard of the hotel definitely doesn't match with a 4 star hotel. It need refreshing. The jacuzzi near the pool looked really dirty and smelled like urine which completely disgusted me and I never went back anywhere near.

The location of the hotel is unique - on top of a hill overlooking a pine forest. The area around it is very nicely landscaped and decorated and the view to the town is fantastic. I visited the pool with my family. The indoor pool was warmer and bigger than the outdoor one. I was not impressed with the level of cleanliness of the pool area. The deck chairs outside needed a bit of a scrub from bird...

Great location in the city center, on the top with great view, very quiet place with a beautiful park outside. Great place to stay with excellent kitchen, SPA and friendly staff.

50/50 food choice, some of it looks not very fresh + there are no free beverages, you have to pay for water and other simple drinks. The rooms are good but very old and this can be easily noticed by the scratches.. needs refreshing Didnt use much service Location is good

I have been in this Hotel for three nights and had a very nice time. The Hotel needs some maintenance specially in the showers but the food and the people that are working there are excellent. I took a facial and massage in the Spa with Mariana she is good in her work. Thanks I had a nice and relaxing time in your place.

Stayed here two weeks ago. Great location, good variety of breakfast and dinner ( it’s not like the people complaining about the variety of food have more choices every day at home 😂) The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The parking lot attendant guy even took our luggage to the hotel. The whole spa area was clean and the mineral water temperature was pleasant. Definitely recommending this hotel

We weren't very pleased with the buffet breakfast and dinner. Most of the food was stale. The staff at the spa was not polite and felt like they didn't want to be there. On the positive side, the location of the hotel is perfect, at the center of the town with tourist attractions, restaurants and bars in close proximity. The hotel maids were professional and nice. We also very much enjoyed the indoor...

Nice place with delicious food and warm mineral water pools.

The pool is too far from the rooms and the elevator, also the water wasn’t that clean too much hair in some places, especially in the deepest parts of the pool, the also wasn’t very good kind of old and the water did stop couple of times we were not able to use the shower neither the toilet, kid playroom was awful condition many of the toys were broken, my wife told the receptionist that kids playroom...

We stayed there for 2 nights. The Spa looked old. It was annoying that all the sunbeds around the swimming pool were taken and the guests were just leaving their towels there just to book them. Some of the waiters looked lost and quite unhelpful. Once waiters were serving around the swimming pool and the information I was being given from a staff member is that they would serve only these guests, because...
