Where to stay in Sarnitsa

The hotel is primarily a place to sleep, drink and eat. The beds are very comfortable, the food was delicious. The staff is calm and responsive, they try to keep it clean. We expected more from the pool and spa services like jacuzzi and steam room. The evening lighting in the yard and the rest area is missing. There is billiards and table tennis. For table tennis, we found only one sick ball.

The place is great, there are views of the dam. The rooms are decent, the bed is comfortable. The food was delicious, the service was good. The only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't use the pool because the water was dirty and cold.

Had reduced staff on our visit which translated into slow service. A good family hotel. Bathrooms are as big as the room which is not a great feature of the room itself. A great view to the dam and forest.

The place is not bad but a bit overpriced for the level of commodities. I didn't like the food, it was cooked from someone without passion in coocking, very sterile. At such a place some traditional food could be much appreciated.

Good place to stay with decent cuisine. However, there are some loud celebrations almost every evening which makes it not the best place for families with children.

I went here for one night and it was alright. The bedrooms were clean, and it was warm and nice. In one of the bathrooms the toilet was blocked but it's not that big of a deal. This is where the hotel gets only 3 stars, it is because of the poor restaurant service. Mainly the waiter who was apparently "16" years old and he forgot what we ordered and gave us food that we didn't request. That waiter...

The hotel is relatively new, clean, well maintained. Staff extremely friendly. The cuisine in the restaurant, tasty and well prepared. Our room had a view of Dospat Dam. We really liked it, we would do it again for sure.

The hotel itself is lovely with beautiful rooms and a unique location. The hygiene in the rooms could be improved. For 4 nights they did not change our bed linen. The breakfast is good, but the all-you-can-eat food is of very low quality and at very high prices. The staff is polite and helpful. Overall it is a wonderful place, peaceful and with a unique design and privacy.

Very welcoming family, working hard to keep their place in good shape. Bar with a choice of drinks, local cuisine for lunch and dinner, continental breakfast. Real panoramic view from my balcony. The only thing I was missing is bike rental, discovering neighbourhood by foot.

There was everything we needed. It is great to have a bathroom with hot water in the bungalo. There was also an electric kettle and extra blankets for cold night. The forest is right behind the houses.

Very green and quiet place just above the lake shore. The houses are clean and tidy. Perfect for peaceful family vacation.

Lovely place on the banks of the dam

The place is wonderful as a location. But our recommendation to the hosts is to increase the level of hygiene in the villa. Last year we went to a pandemic and were disappointed. Household appliances do not work, depreciated. The dishes are also worn out and not clean enough. And on the second floor we had to fight a flock of flies, not knowing where. We stayed with many unforgettable memories of the holiday on the shore of Dospat Dam. Everything was fine, even the time we had. And the caught trout was incredibly delicious ... We'll come together where you are far from everything and feel great!

The accommodation was quite good. The restaurant is a total disaster, both service wise and food quality wise. A bit overpriced for the offering, yet a nice location and surroundings.

Very spectacular views from the accommodation windows. You need to travel light, enough clothes to fit in a back pack as it's very hilly. The village is well worth a visit.

Loved this hotel, clean, friendly, heated floors in the room, big rooms, balconies, nice lobby with bar. Great spa on site, with heated sauna, hot tub, I think there was a salt room- I did not use the services but my girlfriend did and said it was great. Restaurant on site had great dinners and awesome self serve breakfast.

We are yearly visitors. Quality service every single year. The complex is constantly expanding and developing. The environment is breathtaking. The SPA is very high level and the restaurant offers very delicious menu options for food aswell as drinks.
