Stayed here two weeks ago. Great location, good variety of breakfast and dinner ( it’s not like the people complaining about the variety of food have more choices every day at home 😂) The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The parking lot attendant guy even took our luggage to the hotel. The whole spa area was clean and the mineral water temperature was pleasant. Definitely recommending this hotel.

I have been in this Hotel for three nights and had a very nice time. The Hotel needs some maintenance specially in the showers but the food and the people that are working there are excellent. I took a facial and massage in the Spa with Mariana she is good in her work. Thanks I had a nice and relaxing time in your place.

We weren't very pleased with the buffet breakfast and dinner. Most of the food was stale.
The staff at the spa was not polite and felt like they didn't want to be there.
On the positive side, the location of the hotel is perfect, at the center of the town with tourist attractions, restaurants and bars in close proximity.
The hotel maids were professional and nice. We also very much enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools.

We wanted to spend 3 days in Velingrad but …
First of all at the reception, in addition to being unpleasant, they do not understand or speak a word of English!
Secondly, although there were available rooms on the booking, the reception informed me that they had nothing available for the entire requested weekend.
Their communication being just that Ne…Ne…Ne!

We stayed there for 2 nights. The Spa looked old. It was annoying that all the sunbeds around the swimming pool were taken and the guests were just leaving their towels there just to book them. Some of the waiters looked lost and quite unhelpful. Once waiters were serving around the swimming pool and the information I was being given from a staff member is that they would serve only these guests, because they are privileged, so we had to go and pick up our food from the restaurant.
Honestly I didn't feel like I was in 4 star hotel, the whole service wasn't great.
The food included in the package wasn't bad, but nothing fascinating.
The pillows looked cheap and could barely sleep on them.
The masseurs were overbooked and were in a hurry to finish up our massages.

The pool is too far from the rooms and the elevator, also the water wasn’t that clean too much hair in some places, especially in the deepest parts of the pool, the also wasn’t very good kind of old and the water did stop couple of times we were not able to use the shower neither the toilet, kid playroom was awful condition many of the toys were broken, my wife told the receptionist that kids playroom is in very bad condition she was like hmm really nobody told us, like someone has to tell them that, VERY GOOD THING ABOUT IT IS THAT THEY did clean and replaced almost all of the toys in there with brand new once the next day, made me think that at least someone is taking care of some things there, so overall for the price which was around 80 leva per person not too bad.

The hotel is quite old and price wise not worth it. Rooms/bathrooms are very species but not clean. Giving 2 stars only for the friendly staff on the pool bar. The lunch was absolutely terrible ( I’ve tried “Pile po lovdjiiski “). Nice spa facilities, however not very satisfied with the massage therapist. The lady on the spa reception was explaining what kind of cream they’re going to use for the massage I’ve choose but the guy didn’t use it.. when I asked why they didn’t use what I’ve paid for, the therapist replied “ no cream can replace my hands”. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I stayed in a single room with breakfast and dinner included. There is a good choice at the buffet. It was my first experience tasting Bulgarian food and it was delicious. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the train station and hiking trails.
It feels so refreshing to come back from a day outside and then go soak in the pool or do a sauna session. I really enjoyed my stay here.
