I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Flavia in Plovdiv. The room was excellent – modern, spacious, very comfortable, with an outstanding bathroom and a great view towards some of the key old historical buildings.
The hospitality of the staff truly stood out. Everyone was kind and welcoming, the receptionist was very polite and helpful, and special thanks to the lady who gave us the tour of the Roman bath excavations – it was a fantastic and memorable experience.
Breakfast was great, with a nice variety and very good quality. The hotel is also in an extremely convenient location, right in the heart of the city – close to the shopping area, the Old Town, the Ancient Theatre (amphitheatre), the Great Basilica, and many other historical landmarks.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Plovdiv.

We loved our stay at Villa Flavia in August of 2025. Great location, room was fantastic with plenty of space, excellent customer service All around from the front desk to housekeeping. Ohh, and the breakfast was excellent and love the tour of the roman ruins bellow!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Flavia . The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The Roman remains in the basement are fascinating. Would definitely stay there again

Flavia Hotel is a beautiful and unique place, built over ancient Roman baths that give the whole experience a quiet depth. What stayed with me most, though, is the team — kind, attentive, and genuinely willing to make guests feel welcome. Their sincerity creates a warmth that really elevates the stay.

What a stunning hotel!! The location is perfect for every amenity in Plovdiv and the staff will do everything in their power to ensure a great stay. The breakfast was excellent with all manner of local breakfast items as well as hot items. The rooms were clean and quiet and the 1800 years old Roman Baths in the basement was truly amazing. Many thanks for such a wonderful stay.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this truly unique hotel. Every aspect of the experience was exceptional — from the beautifully designed rooms with excellent amenities to the delicious breakfast and the unbeatable location right in the heart of the city.
What really sets this place apart, though, is its fascinating connection to history. The basement reveals layers of the past going back thousands of years, beautifully preserved and displayed — it felt like staying in a living museum.
