Park Hotel Sankt Peterburg in Plovdiv

🌍
Plovdiv, Severen, Bulgaria Blvd 97
● Center: 1.5 km

Stunning panoramic views of Plovdiv from high floors and the restaurant's open roof. Large, clean rooms with air conditioning and coffee machines appreciated by guests. Outdoor pool is spacious and pleasant, popular in summer despite some service issues. Reception and staff are frequently described as friendly and accommodating. Facilities for families include a children’s playground and kids’ club praised by parents. Several guests reported maintenance issues such as clogged drains, mold in bathrooms, and broken shower heads. Pool bar only accepts cash in local currency, requiring guests to walk to a nearby gas station ATM. The hotel’s style and some rooms feel outdated, with some lacking charm or modern comforts. Wi-Fi connection is reported as weak and unstable in some rooms. Parking is paid despite some listings suggesting otherwise, and the parking area can be confusing on arrival.

You can watch the sunset over all of Plovdiv and its unique view.

Hotel greeting was great, so far and the reception staff are lovely. The pool is nice, the water is cool. However! Cash only at the pool bar! Had to walk to the ATM at the fuel station (which sells food and alcohol). We ordered a Chicken pizza which came which ham! not good and after waiting ages. Constant gangster R&B music, very risky, not Ideal for families. The music was stopped to sing happy birthday to a child, then it was back to the popping caps etc.
So the pool service, didn't match elsewhere in the hotel and lets the place down. The room is nice with lovely views. Breakfast tomorrow awaits... Which was cooked to order, hash brown tasted a little old but great fried eggs and bbq beans were nice.

The hotel is ok at all, but i have some remarks. The room was ok, but the bathroom wasn't. The shower rossete was filled with fist of hair and the valves of the sink were spoiled

This is a large hotel, located somewhat far from the city center, so having a car is advisable (if not essential) to get there. On the other hand, it has free parking right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for coming and going, although the first time you arrive it's a bit confusing since there's a barrier and nowhere does it indicate that it's the hotel's parking lot. You have to take a ticket and drive through as if it were a public parking lot, and then at reception they validate the ticket each time so you can leave without having to pay. The hotel is in a tall, large building with a "Soviet" style aesthetic, lacking any charm, despite being quite nice. The same was true of the room: very large, functional, it had everything necessary, it was on a high floor with a view... but without any charm! The hotel was half empty, if not almost completely empty, which also seemed strange. The staff were very polite, but lacked initiative. For example, upon arrival we asked about the pool, and they showed us where it was, but when we went down to swim, they told us it was already closed for maintenance at 6 pm... in the middle of August! Even so, the best thing about the hotel, at least in summer, is undoubtedly the pool (which is why we chose it, as it was very hot at midday). There were few people there, and the surroundings were rather unattractive, although the pool itself was huge and very pleasant. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. On the second day, we were the only couple at a table in the dining room, and they served us breakfast à la carte because they hadn't even set up the buffet. I suppose it was because there weren't enough guests. The overall impression was that the hotel was operating at half capacity, or as if it were about to close soon, or perhaps not, but a hotel of this size with so few guests gave a somewhat sad and run-down feel. In short, it's a good place to stay while visiting Plovdiv, if you have a car or other means of transport, but it lacks any real charm.

Park hotel Sankt Peterburg in Plovdiv is one of the best hotel in the city. Incredible hotel as regards the facilities, interior design restaurant. The attraction of the hotel is the movable roof on the facing floor at the restaurant. It is really nice to dance under the sky and starts during the early evening or daytime during the day if you join an evet. Service very good and supportive.

On Our arrival in Hotel Sankt Peterburg the Reception staff was very welcoming and friendly. Once we when in Our room we are amaze with the beautiful view to the city of Plovdiv. We are were very happy to see there was a coffee machine in our room so we made a cup of coffee and it was really good drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. The room was very big, tidy and clean. On Our special day, once we return to our hotel room. We are amaze to see the beautiful decoration with flowers, balloons, bottle champange on ice and fresh cake. We are very happy to choose hotel Sankt Peterburg for our special day, we are definitely coming back to stay here again. 🥰🥰💜💜😘😘

I was visiting the restorant! It is special place. The second floor and the opening roof are incredible. The service was poor, but taking in to account the size of the event with 760 guests, it was acceptable. I'm not sure, if it works for family dining. The parking space in front of the hotel is restricted. I did not have the possibility to check the rooms. In general was good!

Nice friendly staff. The attached pool is lovely although the music is very loud,so not good if you fancy an afternoon nap.
