The staff is wonderful. The room is excellent. However, upon arrival, we thought the air conditioning wasn't working at all; it was hot. It turns out you need to give it a decent amount of time to start cooling properly. Breakfast is a la carte: European, American, Asian, and "light." The portions are generous. The pool, however, isn't large, but it's clean and deep.

Nice hotel, with good (if simple and a bit expensive restauruant), great pool, extremely friendly staff who speak good english. Rather average breakfast and, incredibly, for a hotel of this quality and price, in a country full of delicious fruit, they serve horrible sweetened supermarket juice (rather an insult to their customers and their wallets!)

Lovely place just a 5 minute tuk tuk drive away from the main sites in B'bang. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent roomy bathroom with bath tub and shower. Loved the pool, surrounded by lush greenery all round. Great breakfast (à la carte). Thank you to the staff, always available and very courteous. Would stay again if ever back to Battambang 👍🏻

Wonderful grounds, once of the busy streets of Battambang you felt you were in a tropical resort. Very good restaurant and menu. Bar staff were also very good. Good drinks menu. Good pool area. Lovely well sized villas. Reception staff very knowledgeable on the area and helpful. We will be booking again when next in Cambodia.

We’ve been to islands like Maldives and Seychelles, and can truly say we have found our new favourite! They even have a spa on the beach - we enjoyed a massage with the sound of ocean waves in the background. The luxury tent had aircon, the water activities were great, the staff were friendly and professional. We loved every option on the menu - kudos to the chef and management!

Lovely lush resort just out of the hustle and bustle of Battambang. Western rooms, comfy beds, great outdoors and large pool. Friendly staff and superb tour desk. Absolutely the place to stay in Battambang.

Was a bit worried by some of the other reviews mentioning hoards of kids creating calamity around the hotel and pool but our stay has been blissful and quiet with idyllic views from our lake villa. An amazing resort with an even more amazing staff! The breakfast is delightful—one of the best in Battambang—and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Located in a secure and peaceful area, the hotel offers a truly relaxing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Battambang.

Great place to have a relaxed stay

A very nice hotel in a tropical garden, a 10-minute walk from the market and very close to the national park. The continental breakfast is good but not very varied. The shower didn't work; the pipes were leaking and the tap was broken. It took two days to get it completely fixed. The Wi-Fi isn't very fast. I didn't like the traces of squashed insects on the walls.

I booked this bungalow not expecting anything but was surprised how quiet and relaxing it was. Initially there was some sort of language barrier but the lady manager who speaks English well quickly rectified the issue. I will definitely come back for a peaceful retreat. Great friendly staff Good pool close to the crab shake and market

This is a small, peaceful complex of 9 bungalows with a pool, tucked away yet only a 10-minute walk from Kep's restaurants. The breakfast was good, offering three different choices. We spent three very relaxing nights here. Overall, it offers good value for money.

Excellent property in Kep. Great location: easy walk to the crab market, beach, shops and restaurants. Great ambiance: relaxed, quiet, secluded, and comfortable. The hotel is clean, but a bit old with acceptable price

The location is on the main road and also very quiet. The room is very give me an old style vibe but since it’s been long time many things need repair but the air conditioner is working very well , the bed is clean , the blanket is warm and any other that you need like water hot cold all work. Okay place, pretty quiet. It's next to many travel bus. They refused to honor my Agoda price and down graded me after booking. Was unprofessional and lame.

The air conditioner in my room struggled and the room was nothing to write home about. That said, it was pretty clean and safe. The night desk guy even told me to bring my motorcycle into the lobby for the night for security. That was pretty awesome of him.

Love the traditional khmer style home with green environment

Everyone has their own price point and level of comfort. We stayed in the family bungalow, if you enjoy rustic accommodation and the feeling of the breeze between the floorboards this place is for you. As a family it did not suit our needs. The bathrooms were in need of some TLC and the pool was murky. We felt it was more a 2 star resort due to the accommodation standard in the family bungalow.

Absolutely recommended. Super good position. Only problem the shower was not hot. The night movie in the pool area is a genius idea.

If you travel with your family this is a good place to stay. If you prefer more privacy and quiet place, I'm not recommended.

Good place to stay for family trip.

The hotel itself is okay in term of cleanliness and staff. The pool is a bit small and not very well maintenance. The location is not ideal, small muddy road and flooded on rainy season which is not pleasant to see and go there by walk.

The location was great! But the staff seemed to be on island time. This was an issue as my room had issues with the AC. There was also dried blood on the wall, which is not something you want to see in your room.

Very fun bar and restaurant area with many travelers from around the world but locals who come to hang there as well. The location was a couple of blocks from the river. Attentive staff who were great at changing large bills which can be difficult. The only negative was very loud amplification from a nearby temple.

Good budget hotel, great location near enough to Pub street, but far enough away so not kept up all night.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Siem Reap. I was worried about the noise at night because it was close to Pub Street, but it had calmed down by the time I went to sleep. The shower had hot water. The wifi was weak in some places in the room. There was someone at the reception 24 hours a day, so I was able to go out early in the morning to see the sunrise.

The rooms here were very large, but that's about all I could say in their favor. They were moderately clean. The facilities were very out of date. My trip was done on a budget, but this remained my least favorite hotel. Their breakfast was average, though I did get to try a thousand year old egg, so that was cool.

My friend and I loved our stay at Sabbay Kep. Fred and his wife were wonderful hosts and the staff are all lovely. We had a bungalow each and it was spacious, cream and comfortable. You can dine in at their restaurant and have a drink at the bar or venture out to the crab market. Kep is very chilled , which is what we wanted. We had a wonderful stay at Sabbay Kep. The rooms are very clean, cleaned everyday and loved the interior of the bathroom. Second the location is perfect. Close to national park, Kep beach and across the street of the Crab Market. Advise renting a motorbike and explore the area. Lastly the staff is very friendly and helpful. They made our stay even more comfortable and pleasant. Definetly recommend

We stayed here for 4 nights with family and had a lovely time. The bungalows are spacious and the beds super comfy. It's perfect for a peaceful, relaxing stay. They have a great little rooftop cocktail bar that opens in the evenings and you're right by Keps best fish and crab restaurants. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Fred for a lovely stay.

Very nice bungalow, basic but cute. Right in the beach. Also very secluded in a way that you can’t really go anywhere else on the island unless you go for a hike or take an expensive water taxi. But service is good, nice amenities, food is okay.

So so so so beautiful! You fall asleep hearing the waves, the water is clean and the bungalows are beautiful with AC. The staff are the friendliest I’ve met so far and they have cute lil doggos on the beach.

The Columns Hotel in Kampot, Cambodia is a quaint and very nice hotel in restored French colonial shophouses. The rooms are very nice. We rented a room with a balcony and enjoyed a glas of wine on the balcony as the sun was setting. The shower was so slow to drain out that the water would be overflowing in the shower floor,,,, and to many rocks in the shower floor,! Was also very slippery when the floor was wet, dangerous to walk in there with out any sandals,?????
