Arrived and was so impressed with front lobby and staff. Albertina was wonderful and able to get us checked in early so we were able to drop bags in our room. Met Catherine who gave us a private tour - so wonderful to meet and spend time with her! Room was spacious and clean, we all thought the beds were outstanding. All hotel staff were pleasant and helpful! Just an amazing experience!

The hotel is great, and the location is superb, right next to Parliament Hill. The biggest issue is the parking fee, which is over $60 plus tax per night. It's just too expensive.

Good location. Room is not too big but good enough for a short stay.

Great location in a hundred-year-old castle. The service was warm and welcoming, which made for a very pleasant experience.

We have been here for four days and have found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. That said, the hotel itself feels quite dated. For example, the gym still has carpet, which makes it feel unclean and not well suited for a fitness space.

We typically choose to stay here because of our Accor status. Unfortunately, a recent housekeeping experience has made it difficult for us to consider returning. Up until Sunday, our room was cleaned thoroughly and met expectations. However, on Sunday several basic items were not replaced — including towels, coffee cups and glasses, stir sticks, cream, coffee, and other standard amenities.

While I understand that oversights can happen, this felt like a lack of care and attention to detail. It was particularly disappointing given that a tip had been left. Experiences like this leave a negative impression, not only for guests but also for the many staff members who are working hard to provide good service.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve consistency in housekeeping standards moving

Great location, can walk everywhere, and is very close to the canal and other major attractions. Staff were very friendly, respectful, and helpful. Beautiful historic decor... totally awesome. Restaurant/Dining lounge menu may not be to all tastes, but there are multiple choice close by, including Milestones (next door), and the market square area. Was an enjoyable experience.

I loved my stay. The room was spacious, had a wonderful view of Parliament Hill, and all the amenities were accessible. Breakfast at Zoe's was great one morning. The chic and style of the hotel is classy but everything is fairly modern and made staying for 3 nights a breeze. The location is central to a lot and made it easy for Uber to pick us up and for us to walk to nearby spots. All hotel staff were friendly, and accomodating. The art gallery and cafe on the main level are a cool addition.

The reason that I gave 4 total stars over 5, is because on TWO seperate occasions, Valet came and asked me what kind of car I had, and for me to describe my keys. Both times they put my car keys on the wrong valet label number hook, and I had to go into the office and find it. To me this is unacceptable, because on TWO seperate occasions I thought my car was missing or not taken care of. This should be a no brainier. This didn't happen at any of the other Fairmont hotels we stayed at, and happened two seperate times here.

This is an amazing, historic, world famous hotel. It combines luxury with outstanding service. The location is in the heart of the historic area. Just a minute walk to Parliament and the iconic buildings. It’s situated on the river if you want to ice skate I. The winter. It’s a must stay for the travel who wants a quality experience and great location

The service and environment is great but I expect much better food than what I was served for the price I paid. There's nothing bad about it but I know I could get much better value for my money elsewhere. Typically in that sort of restaurant I would expect everything to be amazing but I found it just okay. A bit disappointing.

We visited on a Friday. Great ambiance and atmosphere! We had lamb burger. The service and food is great as well!
26.10.2017 Francisco
Excellent food. Quiet small cozy environment. Could have better decor, but the food makes up for all.
27.09.2017 Shred
Went the day after school started which was great. I hear this place can get busy so it was good for us with miniShred.

As always I had a burger. Mother truckin delicious. I'll leave it at that. Mrs Shred's tenderloin came medium well spot on but still juicy so props to that.

Great local beer selection from the regions breweries including Beau's, Bicycle, Whitewater, and more.

Loved it. Good beer and the Veg Burger was quality. Sat inside with good company while a thunderstorm rolled by. Staff and service was great, my partner didn't like the beer they suggested so they changed it to another better one. Thanks!

Terrible place. Bread was so hard it was silly. Food took forever to be served and it arrived cold. Very expensive for the little portion sizes. You pay full supper meal prices but get lunch special sizes. I would never pay for another meal there. There are so many better places in the market. Don't waste your time or money.

Food was delicious and service fantastic. I recommend.
14.12.2017 Taylor
Walked in for an early lunch and had a lovely time. The service was tip notch. The espresso we asked for came quickly and was lovely. The veal pasta was delightful as was the Pescatore pizza. For dessert we had the Pecan pie which was a treat. It was rich and a gift for the palette.
28.09.2017 Jeff
Food was nice but service was slow on a week night.
06.09.2017 madmio
Pasta was equivalent to grocery store bought frozen dinner pastas, overcooked, swimming in sauce and didn't taste fresh or good. I also had a calamari appetizer which was totally tasteless and rubbery. Prices are way too high for such poor quality food. Staff are not very cheerful, everybody is so serious.

Mobile ordered a donut to go and store was dirty and donut was not ready dispite close to 10 minutes advance ordering. Also had to attract attention of a cashier for about 3 minutes.

Dirty..I guess coz of a lot of foot traffic. Coffee was ok.
13.10.2017 Arik
They charged me 1.56 for a donut, when the price was 1.19 + tax. Disgrace.... Don't let these guys scam you of your hard earned money.
22.08.2017 Alain
A timmy like most. Would get 5 stars if the tables were cleaner.
06.08.2017 Bonnie
It is Tim Hortons the menu is the same, the staff is the same, they are all busy but service is quick and they are all kept very clean!
