Great location. Steps from metro( subway), old downtown, cinema. Lots of cafe/ restaurants nearby, with some places open 24/7.
Rooms are very clean and spacious. Eventhough hotel is located on a busy street windows provide really good noise cancellation.
Beds are comfortable.
Breakfast is amazing!!! Lots of great nutritios options.

Excellent hôtel! Price is really affordable and you get a great service for what you pay. It's not pristine clean nor, the furniture aren't luxurious. But again you get a great service! We had a suite and the kitchen is well equipped. Location is absolutely amazing! Breakfast is good and free.

The rooms and amenities were decent however the staff, service, and location, was the best. The receptionist Saint Claire was super helpful even when I checked in early and had a difficult time navigating Montreal. He ensured I felt comfortable and provided very clear instructions. The location was perfect, not too far from Notre Dame Basillica and Via Rail.

Horrible place. The bathroom was mouldy and the heater was broken. The bathroom could only fit one person. The room was very cold. The hotel onsite parking is VERY limited and we had to park in a different location. The matress was super firm. Many other people complained that the rooms were either too hot or too cold. Some rooms were also so noisy, other people couldn’t sleep. The breakfast room was tiny and the food was very low-quality. The fruit salad was not fresh at ALL. Also, you can’t even go INSIDE the hotel since the doors are locked. The only way to go inside is to have SOMEONE ELSE open the door via keycard. Location gets five stars since it was downtown and convenient. But PLEASE, NEVER go to this hotel.

Great location — only about a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and you can also walk to the Old Town and Old Port. The area is super convenient! The room was very clean and had a small kitchen with everything you need like microwave, toaster, cups, and plates. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend for both tourists and business travelers!

Its prime location in downtown Montreal, in close proximity to the Winter Festival, Chinatown, and essential amenities, added unparalleled convenience to my visit. While it may not boast extravagant luxuries, the hotel's affordability and prime location make it a hidden gem. For its outstanding value and warm hospitality, I wholeheartedly award Hôtel Le Roberval a well-deserved five stars.

Room was cold and no heat... I checked in around 7;30 pm and when I got to the room it was very cold, I turned the thermostat up but no heat, I called the front desk and was told told that they would send someone to check it out, but no one came, around midnight I could not take it anymore I went down to the lobby, kept ringing but no one was there, and after a while a guy came from the back, I told him that my room was too cold and I need the heat to be fixed, he gave me a portable heater, when I got to the room and plugged it the control button was broken and loose... I gave up cause I was tired and had to sleep with a lot of layers on. To have that kind of night for the price I paid was not worth it at all.

A decent hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk from Downtown and Old Montreal, and steps from Berri-UQAM metro station. Could use some sprucing up and the layout is a tad confusing at first but the included breakfast is pretty good and the price is excellent for what you get.

Hotel is less than a block from Subway. Very central for food and supplies. Reception was neat and the receptionist was nice and accommodating. Parking is at the next building over and was 20$ for an underground spot. The room had a well equipped kitchen and a living room with a 2 seater pull out couch and 4 seater dining room with TV. Bedroom had a Queen bed with 2 dressers and a work/makeup table. Breakfast was nice and basic with boiled eggs, ham, cheese, coffee/tea/juice, some fruits and lots of pastries and breads. Overall really good and amazing for the price.

A great budget hotel in downtown Montreal. Room was clean, large, and had a full kitchen to use. Front desk was kind and helpful when needed. Breakfast is plentiful and a nice touch. Metro station is literally one block away. This might be my new base when I’m exploring Montreal.

So I had been here once before and had a great experience but the second time was absolutely horrible. Called for takeout and specified I had a peanut allergy. When I received the food, one of the dishes had tofu instead of beef so we called to tell them and the man on the phone did not even apologize. My friend and I decided it was fine and started to eat when I got a raging allergic reaction and had to go to the hospital. My friend called and told the same man on the phone what had happened and he, once again, wasn't the slightest bit apologetic. After a few minutes of my friend arguing with the man, we agreed to give us our money back. I am 100% unsatisfied with this compensation

Okay, so I’ve been coming to Montreal for years (I’m from South Florida). I always stay in the gay village area. This restaurant deserves the five
stars — hands down! The food is genuine fresh and delicious!While he space is simple and unassuming, the service is impeccable!

This is one of the best Asian style restaurant in the area. No question asked. Just delicious and great price. The staff is very nice and they are very knowledgable on their menu (they could precisely tell us where there were msg-free options). The vegetarian options are limited but they are very happy to adapt recipes for you don't hesitate to ask. Strongly recommend but beware it's cash only.

After reading some other reviews we still decided to give this place a shot.
Menu had good selection. Price was slightly higher than average for this type of food. We had very good service. Waiter was helpful when i asked about a picture and wasnt sure what it was. Food came quick. Place was clean. Cant comolaint apart from slightly higher higher price.

DO NOT COME HERE. Worst "service" (if you could even call it that) I've ever received in my life.. The most pleasant part about our experience was the moment we left this dreadful establishment. We were practically harassed by the server that took our food order. He was cold, rude, and RACIST. We had questions about the menu and he was the least bit helpful for my friend who is a vegetarian. Once the food came, we immediately noticed the subpar presentation and it tasted even worse. I have doubts that anything on the menu is authentic..throwing ingredients together does not equate to cooking. Terribly bland and unfresh. When it came time to pay our bill, we noticed a "15% group charge" and consulted the server about it. Being just the two of us, this was an alarming occurrence. He claims that everyone is charged the amount as "mandatory tip"...we're unsure if other tables were also charged this, but we found this unbelievably disrespectful. All in all, I would never step foot in this restaurant again. To any future patrons of this restaurant, BEWARE.

The food was good but it took 30 min just to get coffee, then another 15min to pass the order. In total we waited at least an hour to ne served. 40 min. After we ate we had to go look for the waitress in order to get the receipts. They were all in the kitchen chilling. It was not a busy saturday morning. I was so mad that I did not leave a tip. I love tutti fruiti, but I will never go back to this location.

I have been here many times and previously, it was always great. Only recently it seems that there is always problems. Lack of organization, lack of staff, etc. The last two times I went with my boyfriend, we waited longer to have our bill than we did for anything else. When it takes 25 minutes just to pay and get out, there's something wrong somewhere. We eventually got impatient and decided to get up and find someone to take our money and when we got to the cash, everyone in that section was upset. 3 other couples were waiting impatiently to pay. An elderly man was yelling that he was waiting 20 minutes just to be seated...
It is sad really, this was our favourite breakfast restaurant.
