Very convenient and well-located (in relation to the metro and airport). The room was very spacious. My only minor regret is that the pool wasn't open yet.

I don’t know if this would be a 4 star hotel in my opinion. It’s a good hotel, although a bit aged and the location is okay in my opinion. It is close to a Walmart and a few food locations, and it is close to a train station.
The hotel just feels old from the carpet to the furniture to the general aesthetic. Despite that, the room itself was clean and the bed was clean as well. My room even had a bar island which was quite fancy and they gave me a bath robe which was a nice touch. (I didn’t use it though.) The view was okay. It mostly showed the busy street with cars in front.
The hotel is quite cheap given the 4-star status so I can’t really complain, however.
There is no free breakfast included, but there is a Ben and Florentine beside it which was really good.

This is my second time staying here and it was just as lovely as the first time. I had to book this last minute since the Airbnb I had booked did not work out as needed. The staff was friendly upon arrival and listened to my requests. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. I will always come back to this hotel whenever I come back to visit Montreal.

Clean tidy but walking to my hotel unit was a bit too far felt like a maze, near by have a few fast food chain, the giant orange juice spot was incredible 👍

It is truly a great hotel in Montreal, offer free parking compared to $30 downtown hotel parking. Surrounding restaurants are perfect! Definitely going back!

Super cozy and a great value. All of the staff are lovely people as well!
This hotel has a lot of amenities and is within walking distance of the metro.
Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious with huge portions.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel did not honor the stated check-in time, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Additionally, many of the electrical outlets in the room were not working, making it difficult to charge devices.
The bathroom was also poorly maintained — there was no bathtub mat to prevent slipping, which is a safety concern. To make matters worse, the room phone was not functioning, so contacting the front desk was difficult.
Overall, the lack of maintenance and organization made the stay frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed.

I had a great stay at Ruby Foo’s Hotel. The Chinese‑themed atmosphere is charming, but what really stood out was the service. Samia, the front desk receptionist, was incredibly kind and helpful. Her warm smile made me feel welcome right away. Thanks to her, the whole experience felt even more special. I’d definitely come back.

I had to visit Montreal to attend a friends surprise birthday party on 7th February. However travelling from Toronto and it being a day with adverse weather conditions i decided to stay at this hotel.
I did reach the hotel at 3pm, an hour before the normal check-in time. However Samha who was manning the reception desk at the time, immediately upgraded my room and cheked me in taking into consideration that I had travelled almost 7 hours in adverse conditions. I thought it was a very kind and professional act on her part. Putting the customer first.
The room was very clean and comfortable as well and the staff very courteous and helpful. The location is very centrally located as well closer to restaurants and other amenities.
Very reasonable rates too.

Great place to eat. Bâton Rouge is a name you can trust when it comes to steaks. Shoutout to Nick for the amazing service every time!

Mr. Ma purchased the Baton Rouge and Mikes franchises. Plentiful parking. They pipe two different songs over the sound system causing headaches in the customers and giving the impression they want you to eat quickly and leave. The audio disruption is less of an issue if you are seated near the kitchen. Premises are spacious and clean. Overall food is good; steak and chicken dishes more flavorful than the seafood dishes.

The Food is always great here but sadly tonight the service was not.
I was with a group of 12 people and we had a waiter that wasn’t very efficient .it took forever to get his attention and to get our second round of drinks.
We were then approached by the manager who exclaimed that we have outstayed our reservation and were told not so politely that we should have left 45 minutes ago and that now would be best to leave so the next group could be seated.
I completely understand that the restaurant was very busy but if your aware of big group perhaps you should hire more staff and have 2 waiters per group so that the evening would have gone faster and smoother.
One last point the big glasses in the wine display case need a real good cleaning and dusting it’s quite unappetizing to see the amount of dust that’s been left to build up in what is supposed to be a showpiece of the restaurant.

I love to come here for the southern chicken strips as they are simply fantastic. Great meal, clean and fast service. Inexpensive considering quality.

Worst service I have ever seen. This particular Baton Rouge is now on my blacklist. I have stopped going there since the last time I was there due to the insanely horrible service. The waiters and waitresses are mindbogglingly useless and rude. They don't give a damn about their patrons or their jobs evidently, and management is clearly a problem as these employees are somehow still working there...
Our waiter was impatient, he was visibly irritated that we didn't order as quickly as he thought we should, they constantly forget items and/or are late delivering your items or you don't even get them at all and need to go and babysit them to make sure you get what you ordered. When they eventually come around to deliver your extremely late items they don't even apologize, they just bring the items and leave. Horrible attitudes, no politeness, no sense of care or respect. Disgusting! I am thinking about getting the media involved with this place. There is something really wrong there and that whole crew needs to be fired and don't deserve to ever have jobs again.

Specifically asked for a creamy chocolate chill. The old lady gave me an ice capp with white whip cream and chocolate drizzle. I told her nicely that I asked for creamy chocolate chill (everything chocolate even the whip cream), she gave me attitude and said “this is chocolate!!!” Which looked nothing like what they have on the menu!!! She didnt want to give me what I ordered and even mumbled “you shouldve said something” YET i had already asked for something specific from the start. She was full of attitude! Thank you to the guy who intervened and nicely told me he will fix it.

I love Tim Horton, but this branch is one of the worst I've ever been!
Two times in a row after several weeks apart I went to eat to this Tim Horton and both times my wife and I couldn't order what we wanted because they had nothing in stock for sandwiches or soups or their panini machine was broken or some other excuse. The menus on the screen were wrong because none of the posted soups were available... To top it off we got angry and tried to order something else and they got the order wrong!! I mean no one seems to refill their food supply, they don't offer anything to say they are sorry, they didn't say sorry, and then they throw the food at you to go run and serve the next angry customer (because understaffed)... very furious about these horrible experiences

Hearty food, good smoked meat, and very convenient hours for unconventional supper times. What I like best about this place is the staff though - cheery and friendly under regular circumstances, they're extremely accomodating and helpful when unexpected events occur. A relative's young child became really sick during our latest visit and the staff jumped to thoroughly assist us. Delicious food and outstanding wait staff - very good combo!

I mainly go to Dunn's for their smoke meat. Medium fat is the way to go! Their smoke meat combo with fries is very good. Friendly, laid back atmosphere with multiple tv screens. Nice place to go at anytime for a quick snack. Open 24 hours.

Like it has for years, Dunn's deliver great taste and great value. Whether early or late they have the selection of deli choices people live love, smoke meat, pastas, deserts and beverages.
