Outstanding service with staff frequently described as friendly and helpful, including specific mentions of employees like Luis and Valeria. Spacious rooms with beautiful views of the pool, city, and Andes Mountains, especially on higher floors. Large outdoor pool area noted as a rare feature in Santiago hotels, with well-maintained grounds and a pleasant environment. Good location in a safe, tree-lined neighborhood that is walkable and close to hiking and observatories. Breakfast buffet with a decent variety and friendly restaurant staff, including positive remarks about breakfast and dinner near the pool. Some rooms have outdated décor and signs of poor maintenance, with issues like non-functional air conditioning and no hot water reported. Housekeeping service is inconsistent, with complaints about cleanliness and lack of privacy during room cleaning. Sauna and steam bath facilities are neglected and in poor condition. Restaurant food received mixed reviews, described as overpriced and sometimes unappetizing, with pushy staff in one restaurant. Front desk service occasionally unfriendly or unhelpful, with reports of poor concierge assistance and lack of useful local information.

Absolutely outstanding service! Booked a basic room and received a beautiful view room overlooking the pool, the city and the Andes Mountains. Located out of the crazy busy city center against the mountains. Beautiful grounds, safe and Secure. Did I mention the service level exceeded all expectations. Multiple bars and restaurants. Ask for Luis!

The location is pretty good, right behind Notre Dame Hill. The room is spacious and the decor is decent, though a bit dated. Breakfast is quite basic. Housekeeping service is almost non-existent, and there are no toothbrushes or scales in the room.

Good. Recommended. Not bad.

The front desk was busy, the location was convenient, there was a drinking fountain on the first floor, the hotel was generally nice and well-maintained, and it was comfortable overall, especially with the mountain view at the back.

Loved the location. Was in the beautiful Providencia barriou surrounded by trees and vegetation. We found the area to be very walkable. Didn't take an Uber any of the 4 days we were there. Seemed very safe. 51 year old female, went on a 5 mile loop jog by myself and it was wonderdul. Felt very secure. Loved the pool. One of the few hotels with a large outside pool area. Although the pool was freezing. Just popped in and out to cool down during sunbathing reading sessions:) The fitness room was average for this type of hotel. Better than your run of the mill but average for an upscale hotel like this one. No stair stepper but lots of free weights, machines, including leg press and of course treadmills. Did not eat here. The food seemed very overpriced and none of the restaurants are highly rated. See my other reviews of this area for restaurant and other suggestions. Ie laundering is crazy expensive here, found other options.

Beds and pillows were ok. The room wasnt very clean and once you go past the lobby the hotel becomes a bit dirty with signs of poor maintenance showing. WiFi was generally good, although we only used it for social media and website browsing.

TV has no ability to use Netflix or similar.

The cleaning lady refused to give us privacy and came into the room when we asked her not to. That left a sour taste in my mouth, as my girlfriend was sleeping naked at the time.

Great views of the city and it's quiet. No decent public transport connections if you have luggage.

We wouldn't go out of our way to stay here again, however it's not a completely terrible option if you're only staying a night or two and need to be in the area.

The air conditioning didn't work and there was like warm water in the bathroom. No hot water.

If you're here as a tourist there's much better options in the city. I would never stay again.

To top it off, it's now 9:30pm and the hotel is blasting music so loud we can't sleep.

We got a beautiful room at the 14th floor which looked out to a part of the city. It was a beautiful hotel.
The breakfast line is long and I personally found the offerings just the usual.
Otherwise, a good stay in Santiago.

i felt like giving a rating of 1 such is this hotel badly run, but because the receptionist was so lovely when we checked in early and because the breakfast was good, i’m feeling magnanimous and giving a 2 rating.
where to start? so many things going wrong. first of all, the concierge service. between all of them, not a chance of being helped adequately or given any useful advice. i needed help to chase a bus reservation and was bluntly told that they couldn’t call the bus company, as it’s “an external company”. moreover, we were looking for somewhere to eat on christmas eve and they happily sent us to the city centre when actually all restaurants had closed by 18:00. any hostel in santiago would’ve known this information, but not the sheraton staff. i’m really wondering what’s the point of them.
cleanliness in the hotel was terrible. i when sitting down at able near the pool area, i had to ask several times for dirty dishes from previous customers to be taken away. they never cleaned the table and had to do it ourselves.
the food in the restaurant next to the lobby was disgusting. the fries were cold. i had an aubergine strudel that resembled of nothing and tasted really unpleasant. in the other restaurant, el cid, staff are constantly doing the hard sell of the most expensive things on the menu. food was average and the jazzy easy listening music really grating.
the pool itself is not regularly cleaned. the carpet on our floor was not regularly cleaned.
there is clearly a serious management and training issue in this hotel. we couldn’t wait to leave!
the positives are the breakfast and the location near the parque metropolitano. that’s about it.

The hotel was impeccable, with first-class service and complete facilities. Our family spent three wonderful nights there. The pool was beautiful, and although the water was a bit cold, if you were brave enough, the experience of going in was unparalleled.
