The hotel has a beautiful classic elegance, with stunning décor that thoughtfully reflects Chilean culture and identity. Despite being an older property, it is exceptionally well maintained, spotlessly clean, and full of charm. The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently attentive, kind, and professional throughout my stay.
Breakfast was good, though for longer stays it can feel a bit repetitive, especially considering the standard of the hotel.
The only inconvenience was an issue with the in-room fridge, which I needed to store medication. The appliance was faulty and released a strong odor, causing us headaches overnight until we identified the source. Once reported, the staff handled the situation promptly and with great care, safely storing my medication and resolving the issue the same day.
Overall, Alma Cruz is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service, impeccable cleanliness, and a refined atmosphere. A minor, well-managed issue did not take away from an otherwise excellent stay.
