Canton Hotel Guangzhou, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Guangzhou

The location is absolutely unbeatable, right at the entrance of Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and visiting the Museum of the Nanyue King. The hotel, transformed from the old Guangzhou Mansion, incorporates a 'book printing workshop' concept, giving the public areas a strong Lingnan charm. The front desk service was warm and efficient; even checking in late at night, I felt well taken care of.

The room layout was well-proportioned and clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The highlight of breakfast was the freshly made noodle station; both the alkaline wontons and beef brisket noodles are worth trying. The 24-hour gym and the outdoor pool on the 6th floor meet basic leisure needs. Minor drawbacks include a slight new hotel smell and average soundproofing. Considering the prime location and amenities, it offers excellent value for money if you're visiting Guangzhou's old city.

Arriving late at night, I thought I'd just quickly check in and get some rest. To my surprise, from the moment I stepped in until I got to my room, I was successively warmed by three staff members.

Mr. Liang at the front desk and the night shift manager were still full of energy late at night. Not only did they efficiently complete my check-in, but they also proactively asked about my plans for the next day. Upon learning I wasn't familiar with the area, both of them patiently introduced attractions and routes to me: what's worth visiting, the most convenient way to get there, and places to avoid crowds. They essentially helped me sort out my entire itinerary. For someone arriving late at night, completely new to the city, this help was an absolute lifesaver.

Even more coincidentally, after I got into my room, I realized I had forgotten my charger. It was so late that I felt bad about bothering anyone again, but I decided to call the operator just to try my luck. The moment Ms. Tang answered the phone, I felt reassured. There wasn't a hint of annoyance from being disturbed; she immediately helped me arrange to borrow one, and it was delivered to my room shortly after.

From route planning when I arrived to coordinating a borrowed item after check-in, the three staff members seamlessly delivered exceptional service, paying attention to every detail. This kind of warmth, treating guests like friends, is more memorable than any luxurious decor. Because of you, my impression of this city is now top-notch. Next time I visit, I will definitely choose to stay here again and will recommend it to my friends.

The location of Hilton Garden Inn Guangzhou is unbeatable, right in the heart of Beijing Road with a strong old-town vibe. Kyle from the front desk was enthusiastic and efficient, Manager Lu Evans handled issues professionally and responsibly, and Lydia from the Magic Center provided incredibly fast service, with item deliveries and query responses basically instantaneous. Good service isn't just about following procedures; it's about genuinely thinking for the guest and solving their problems. Thanks to these colleagues, I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip back! 👍👍👍

Very close to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, within walking distance. The service attitude and cleanliness are also very good, and the breakfast is decent. The only drawback is that the decor is a bit old. I thought it was supposed to open in 2026, but it wasn't what I expected. The current renovation doesn't live up to the Hilton hotel's reputation.

This hotel is a must stay if you're planning to stay in Tian He area. Managed by the Hilton Group, the standards of service is excellent. I love the fact that you can check in anytime you arrive. This hotel is very near the famous Beijing pedestrian street and many other shopping malls. You can walk for hours just shopping around its vicinity. Highly recommend.

Clean, modern, and excellent service – everything was great. However, it's a shame that bookings through Trip.com don't earn Hilton Honors points, and not including breakfast feels a bit outdated. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic.

Special shout out to staff BoBo who allowed us early check in with a paid room upgrade to 2907. This was much needed as our flight was at 4am reaching Guangzhou at about 9am. Our stay of 8D 7N was a very pleasant one. Staff like Teeny are very polite, courteous and ready to please. Service whether room cleaning, for extra mineral water or ice cubes are very promptly attended and always with a smile. And they always end all conversations with "Is there anything else I can help you with?". This is very heart warming. Hotel is new, smells new and on the outskirts of Beijing Road, but close enough but far away from the hassle and noise. Take a short stroll around and you will find plenty of eateries and restaurants. You definitely won't be hungry even if you are tired of hotel food.

Great value for money. The hotel was recently renovated, but there was no strange smell. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for a business trip. Breakfast was a bit crowded because it was full of people.
