Great location, but the room facilities are outdated and the service isn't up to par. Breakfast is just average, like what you'd get at a budget hotel.

Extremely close to Yongxingfang and the Muslim Quarter, this independent hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. The service is excellent. While the breakfast selection is a bit limited, the beef vermicelli soup is incredibly rich and flavorful. The facilities are a bit dated, but it gives you a feeling of stepping back in time, like an ancient noble's home now welcoming ordinary people.

The hotel's garden-like environment is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. It's just a few minutes' walk from Wulukou subway station, and you can easily walk to the Bell Tower and Yisu Folk Custom Area. As for the room, it has all the necessary amenities and meets standard expectations, though it is a bit dated. However, it was very clean, and having a bathtub was a real treat after a long day of walking.

The environment is clean and the service is great, with staff always ready to answer any questions. The decor is Chinese style, and it's quite quiet outside the window. There are three hotels inside, so it might be a bit tricky to find the exact location. Regarding the all-in-one control panel, once you press to turn everything off, it's quite fiddly to find the buttons to turn things back on. I suggest using physical buttons for the bedside lamps; many hotels now use voice commands for smart systems, which would also be more convenient.

A stunning hotel and brilliant location. Loved our room and the breakfast. Staff at the front desk were excellent but some of the restaurant staff at breakfast would benefit from more training in friendliness and being more helpful. Enjoyed our stay .

The hotel's location is super convenient, and there are tons of foreign tourists. However, the facilities are really outdated, which explains the price. I guess it's okay for a one-time stay.

Hotels like these are a scam. They look great from the outside but they are dated and falling apart with little or no maintenance. Maybe we were unlucky? On our first night, we dropped all our stuff in the room and went out for a stroll in the city. When we came back, we couldn’t open the door. Reception checked our key and sent us back, but we still could not open the door… we went back and told them to come with us … they could not open the door either… ok long story short : 30mn later after waiting in the corridor they gave us another room (an “upgrade”) but the standards of cleanliness was low: long black hairs everywhere in the bathroom and toilets, dirty carpets, faucets missing bits, spa bathtub not working etc. I just thought it would be pointless to complain again, however I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. There better options with better locations. It was our first time in Xi’An, at least now, we know.

This building is full of Soviet charm, it's fantastic. I can't find any other words for it, only that it's very, very good. Whether it's the atmosphere, the service, the facilities, the cleanliness, or the breakfast, it's truly excellent.

My first night here was great, so I extended my stay for two more nights. The facilities are really good. The breakfast restaurant is shared with the Sofitel next door, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The hotel's surroundings are lovely, with fountains and many ancient trees.

Quiet, spacious rooms, and a very convenient location. The staff were super friendly and helpful with luggage. It's really close to shopping malls and a subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The easiest way out is through the East Gate. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and included some authentic Xi'an specialties!
