The Westin Xian in Xi'an

The hotel's location is great, it's pretty quiet, and super convenient for getting around, with everything you need nearby! It's really close to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll with my mom.

The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Grand Tang Mall and the Shaanxi History Museum. The staff, Jonay and Candy, were very friendly and professional. We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant, and the front desk staff even walked us there, worried we might have trouble finding it. The Chinese food was delicious, and room service for takeout was also very quick. Any small suggestions we had were promptly addressed by the hotel.

Location is excellent. Across the street of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda square. Right next to the everbright city., 大唐不夜城. Opposite the Joy City Mall with great shopping and F&B, especially on the 4/F podium with full pagoda view. Staff are super friendly and helpful . I have to give special thanks to Conciege Ray Yan and Wang Guo Liang.

The hotel is located opposite the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, making it easy to catch a taxi. Downstairs, there's a mall with plenty of options for food, drinks, and shopping. Despite being in a super bustling tourist area, it's surprisingly quiet inside. While the facilities and decor aren't the newest, the cleanliness and service are quite good. My only complaint is that the room felt a bit small and the window couldn't open, making it a little stuffy. The breakfast was also excellent and very kid-friendly.

The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location is excellent, right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, which is incredibly convenient. The area is also very lively at night. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

The location of The Westin Xi'an is absolutely unbeatable! It's directly across from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, just a 2-minute walk away, and you can reach Datang Everbright City in 5 minutes to catch the light show and performances. At night, you can enjoy panoramic views of the illuminated pagoda right from your room. It's also conveniently located near a Line 4 subway station, making it super easy to get to all the attractions – truly hassle-free travel.

For shopping and dining, Xi'an Joy City is right outside the hotel, offering everything you could possibly need.

And the hotel service? Absolutely impeccable. From the moment I booked, through check-in, and finally at check-out, the guest services team, especially Nico and Candy, provided thoughtful and proactive assistance. This included pre-arrival check-in guidance, license plate registration, a local sightseeing map, performance schedules, and even information on traffic restrictions during the May Day holiday. The front desk staff were professional, efficient, and highly skilled, able to answer all our questions and accommodate our specific requests with ease. This really speaks to the hotel's mature and comprehensive management system, where management empowers their staff, significantly boosting service efficiency and quality, and actively enhancing the hotel's and brand's image. Even the housekeeping staff were incredibly meticulous and diligent, ensuring our room was cleaned and amenities replenished promptly and thoroughly. It's no wonder The Westin Xi'an (Datang Everbright City store) is ranked number one for hotels in Xi'an on Ctrip – it truly deserves it.

This time I booked a suite with executive lounge access, right at the entrance to Datang Everbright City and close to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The breakfast was also good, and the hotel staff were quick to respond to any requests. We were even given four bottles of red wine upon check-in! :) The hotel was designed by Neri&Hu, and it has a great sense of style. The 'linked' room layout with an atrium, however, is open to debate :)

This was my second stay, and the hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's directly across the street from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and right at the northern entrance of the Grand Tang Everbright City. You can easily walk to key attractions like the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Tang Everbright City, and Qin Han Tang Square, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Plus, there's Joy City just across the road for all your shopping and dining needs – so handy! The hotel's exterior design is simple yet grand, giving off a very upscale vibe. The hotel is clean and tidy, and I have to praise the bedding in the rooms; it's incredibly comfortable! Make sure to visit the Qujiang Art Museum downstairs; the jade carvings are exquisite masterpieces, and the ceramics exhibition near the exit is also stunning. There's even a Picasso exhibition happening now, and it's free for hotel guests to visit. I especially want to mention how warm and welcoming all the staff are. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to an executive room for free, and on the morning of my departure, they proactively arranged a late check-out and gave me a lovely gift. Their thoughtfulness was truly exceptional, and a special thank you to Candy Jonay and the front desk staff for making me feel so at home. In short, if you want to fully experience the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Grand Tang Everbright City area, I highly recommend the Westin Hotel. Five stars all the way!

The hotel location was fantastic as it is located right opposite Dayan temple and along Da Tang Bu Ye Chen. The hotel itself has a museum located onsite and there was a Picasso's Artwork exhibition during our stay and we were given 2 free entrance tickets to visit the exhibition.
The room is generally clean but a renovation may uplift the value of the brand's name.
As we had breakfast in the hotel, we found a good variety of food available but unfortunately some of the items were either over cooked or under cooked. I think maybe the hotel should look into the quality of their food provided.

Nico was really nice! Our room was upgraded, and the hotel's location is super convenient for everything – dining, shopping, and getting around. We could walk to all the attractions. The breakfast spread in the restaurant was plentiful, and the food at the Chinese restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Plus, the hotel even gave us free tickets to their in-house museum!
