I just remembered to leave a bad review, and it's my first time doing so. First, there was a hygiene issue. When I was showering, my face wash fell off the shelf in the shower, and that's when I noticed the tangled hair next to the drain. It was disgusting, but I didn't take a picture. Second, the front desk staff on the first night of my stay had a bad attitude when speaking to me on the room phone, which left a poor impression. Third, the hotel's soundproofing is terrible. Even with the windows closed, the noise from outside was very loud. On my first night, starting around 10:30 PM, guests from two nearby rooms were going in and out, talking and laughing loudly in the hallway for at least one to two hours, and I could hear everything clearly. I called the front desk, and they said they would come to check. About five minutes later, there was an ear-splitting knock on my door, as if someone was trying to smash it down. When I opened the door, it was a middle-aged man with an accent I couldn't understand, who seemed to be trying to tell me that he had come and there was no noise, so he was leaving. I explained to him that the people from those two rooms happened to stop talking right when he arrived, and I didn't know if they would continue to talk in the hallway later. The staff member just repeated what he said initially, so I had to close the door feeling speechless, immediately sensing how unprofessional the handling was. A little while later, guests started making noise in the hallway again. I didn't want to go through the bad experience of having my door 'smashed' and the communication barrier again (especially as a woman), so I decided to call the front desk again if they were still noisy when I was actually trying to sleep. Thankfully, they stopped about an hour later. On the second night, although no one was noisy in the hallway, the sound of electric scooter alarms from outside was enough to give me a nervous breakdown. As a mid-range chain hotel that I've chosen and trusted many times, the price isn't expensive but certainly not cheap. This particular location did everything poorly; it's the only Atour Hotel I've ever been dissatisfied with. However, the front desk staff during check-out and the cleaning lady were both polite.
