Only 1 positive which is price. Location my seem central but don't be fooled. Not exactly right smuck. It is like 1km from Nanjing Rd East. Metro is around 800meters so not entirely that near. Room sizes are small and toilet disgusting. The showers had no pressure and water merely trickled down so bathing is so painfully slow. At one point, no water came out and had to call the front desk. Staff service are appalling, not helpful, just interested in checking you out or taking your money. They are not interested in helping when you have issues. Breakfast is repeated and they start keeping food 30mins prior to ending time. Poor system of verifying guests who come for breakfast. They become suspicious when you go in and sit down. Lastly, the construction and highway noise is so bad. Knocking sound lasted till 12am and starts at 5am. Didn't sleep well and windows are not noise sealed. Had a terrible 4 night stay. I am so surprise why anyone gave them 3 stars or more.

The hotel is within walking distance from the Bund and Nanjing Road. The check-in staff are friendly and speak English. The heating system is very effective, even when the temperature outside drops to below zero.

Hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the bund and Nanjing road. Unfortunately opposite the hotel there is a lot of redevelopment going on so it is not the prettiest to look out at and the workmen do start early. The room was adequately sized and clean and rooms made over daily. This is not the fault of the hotel but our floor seemed to have either a Mexican or Spanish tour group staying on it and they were incredibly noisy and disrespectful shouting screaming and slamming doors late at night and very early in the morning.

this is the best hotel in the whole of China. The rooms are gorgeous and the service is excellent, luxury resort at the best.

The room was spotless, and the location is excellent. I was in Shanghai for a business trip to attend a client conference, and having breakfast available at the hotel was incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Thumbs up!

Situated in a quiet neighbour. Airport to hotel was easy. Abt 45mins. Staff are nice. Hotel don't provide toothpaste and toothbrush unless u ask from front desk. Overall a nice stay.

The hotel is located incredibly close to all the hotspots but the hotel itself isn’t great. The reception was quite rude and impatient when we asked questions. The water pressure in the shower is so bad and you also wait so long for hot water. Overall, I would not stay here again.
