Wyndham Shanghai Hongqiao in Shanghai

My stay was a wonderful surprise! They kindly upgraded me to a Wyndham Deluxe Twin Room for free, which was incredibly comfortable and cozy even though I was traveling alone. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, with excellent soundproofing, making me feel very secure. The staff were attentive and enthusiastic, even helping me with my luggage, and they were efficient and warm-hearted. The overall decor is elegant and grand, perfectly blending classical charm with modern simplicity. The room was clean and spacious, providing an excellent stay experience. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Good hotel just stayed for a night room neat and clean very spacious very near to station and airport 1.5 km to Indian restaurant and also very near to NECC exhibition hall

The suite is perfect for families, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. The environment is very clean, and the breakfast is also good. The Chinese restaurant upstairs is also very suitable for entertaining guests.

As a five-star hotel, it's up to standard. The hygiene and service are good, and the hotel itself is beautiful. My only complaint is the inconvenient transportation. It says it's close to the train station and airport, but you have to take a detour by car. In the end, I just walked to the station, which took over half an hour, but it was manageable. On a separate note, I have to complain about the food and service at Shanghai's City God Temple. The snacks are overpriced and not tasty, and the attitude of the staff is bad. No wonder Shanghai leaves a bad impression – it's all because of these interactions that ruin people's perception.

Our overall experience at the hotel was excellent. The service was attentive and thorough, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Checking out and getting our invoice was quick and efficient, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The location is fantastic, right next to the National Exhibition and Convention Center, which is super convenient for walking or commuting – perfect for anyone attending an exhibition. The hotel's decor is elegant and sophisticated, and the living environment is very comfortable; all my colleagues gave positive feedback. Plus, there's a free shuttle service to and from the exhibition hall, making getting around incredibly easy. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here for future exhibitions.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene and service are quite good. The breakfast is also plentiful. Compared to other similar hotels, it offers great value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Overall, the hotel's decor and facilities are aesthetically pleasing and well-appointed, and the concierge service was exceptionally attentive and polite. You could really feel their warmth towards guests, which is commendable.

However, the front desk check-in experience was truly awful. The check-in process was incredibly slow, with very little communication. There were no staff members present when I first arrived, and I had to wait a long time. The young lady at check-in seemed overwhelmed and had a very cold, perfunctory attitude. She didn't proactively provide any basic information about the hotel's amenities, floor layout, dining times, etc. The service felt practically non-existent.

The sky garden and pool were abandoned.

Breakfast was another major letdown. The variety of dishes was pitifully small, the taste was very mediocre, and the texture wasn't great. The options were extremely limited and completely unworthy of a hotel of this caliber. The soundproofing in the room was also poor; I could hear cars passing by on the road, so I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers.

The front desk service, amenities, and breakfast were all seriously subpar, significantly impacting the overall stay. I won't be returning for a second time and wouldn't really recommend this hotel.

Very close to Hongqiao Airport and train station, and only one kilometer from the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The rooms are spacious and the prices are great, making it the best choice for exhibitors or those with early morning flights.

Highly recommend! It's really great. Although the decor is a bit dated, everything else was fantastic. Thumbs up!

The environment and breakfast were okay. The gym was absolutely terrible, practically nonexistent.
