Very bad experience they not provide room lock key so can’t enter inside building I waiting al most 3 hr they can’t properly respond its a home big room side 2 ,to 3 bunk bed attached this not a hostel also no electricity socket to change the cellphone in your bed side some time bed bug also found

Great location right by Kunming Old Street, close to restaurants, shops and transport. Very friendly and helpful host. Clean enough beds, free WiFi, good price. Simple but comfortable, perfect for budget travelers. Quiet and safe atmosphere. Recommended for solo travelers exploring Kunming!

Everything is good about this hostel, but check in a bit hard though, you need to find the right entrance.
I thought that I would stay longer, but everyone smokes inside and when you are sleeping you are constantly feeling that cigarette odor.

Ok for the budget, stuff is friendly. Did help me to set up WeChat. Biggest issue is that you don’t get your own key to open front door to the building, so you need to wait for someone to come and only 1 toilet.

The entrance is at the back of the building, not easily located. And the building door is locked so you need to wait for someone to open up for you then go to Elevator #3 to 13th Floor. The host is very nice and kind. The bed is comfy. Well worth the price

Well situated and the lower bed is large. Real toilet and kitchen. It is not non smoking at all, they smoke non stop in the living room and smell gets everywhere because the open window is the only air you will get, no fan or ac. It is alright, but the smoke is really annoying

The host was not available at the hostel. I was knockingg the door for so long but no response then I went to down to ask the guard. The guard said the host is not here she will come after 40 min. I waited for 4 hours then a guest of this hostel let me in. I never saw the host in 3 days. Not a good experience . My health was bad that's why I have to stay there.

It was the perfect place for me. In the middle of the city, close to so much, it was super convenient. The fact that it was cheap was great and all I needed was a bed and bathroom. It was a little hard to find, being on the 13th floor of the east building but nothing too bad. Very much would recommend, feels like a more local experience.
Perfect for budget solo travellers especially.

The girl helping me with check in and payments was really nice. It was simple but okay for a short stay.

The bed was clean enough, but the shower toilet was really filthy (even though it looked clean in the pictures); there was actual poop on it. The bathtub basin also had cloudy water sitting in it. The owner came back after 10 PM to take a picture of my passport, and that was the last I saw of them.
