Highly recommended hotel 🏨
Location: Superb! Right next to Yintai Commercial Street.
Environment: Very comfortable.
Service: Warm and attentive. Knowing we were two adults and one child, they upgraded us from a twin to a king-sized bed! They also recommended suitable sightseeing routes. Great value for money.
Price: There are many hotels nearby, but after comparing, this was our final choice.

The location was excellent, within 10 mins of walk to the lake, restaurants and shops. The main shopping area is also less than 15 mins away.

Whilst the hotel has seen better days, its amenities are extremely clean. Front desk staff is also helpful and friendly, special call out to Xiao Pan and a few ladies on duty who always helped whenever I asked.

The only drawback is that the pillows are too soft for my liking. Morning breakfast was adequate although the venue is a bit dated.

Location was okayish, tourist spot in within walking distance (around 800m), room were nice and quite clean but it could be better, hotel staff on the other hand were not very friendly

Whenever I'm in Hangzhou, I always choose to stay at Marco Polo. I've stayed here several times already. The rooms are spacious and clean, with excellent facilities, and the toiletries are top-notch – you can literally just show up empty-handed! 😂 There are small shops and snacks right outside, a mall next door, and public transport (bus and subway) is all readily available. It's just a 10-minute walk to West Lake, and very close to Wushan Square as well. It's my go-to spot for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Facilities: The variety is quite comprehensive, everything you'd expect is there, a classic old hotel. Hygiene: Very clean, even the bathtub was spotless. Environment: The floors were tidy, and the windows were bright. Service: Very attentive, everyone greeted us with a smile.

The room came with a bathtub and kids' toiletries, and the bed was a huge 2x2 meter! There was plenty of space, and it offered good value for money. Plus, it's right next to Hangzhou Jiebai, making shopping super convenient. However, I found three noticeable hairs in different spots, so I really hope they improve their housekeeping for a better experience!

I originally booked a 1.8-meter queen room, but upon arrival, the hotel upgraded me to a 2-meter king room. The room was spacious and well-equipped. There's a large terrace on the 11th floor, making it feel like you're on the ground floor, which was very reassuring. The beautiful West Lake scenery is fully visible from the terrace. The hotel's location is also excellent, right next to West Lake Intime. The staff provided great service too; after we checked out, we left a blanket behind, and the hotel proactively contacted us and helped ship it to us, which we greatly appreciated.

I booked a room with a window, and I asked the lovely lady at the front desk if it would be possible to get a view of West Lake. She said they had an available room and offered a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room. Thumbs up for the service! The view from the lake-view room was indeed beautiful, and the hotel's decor was very luxurious. The hygiene was excellent, and the breakfast selection was decent. Overall, a great experience!
