The hotel's location is excellent, tucked away in a dense forest by the lake, making it very close to Quyuan Garden (Curved Yard and Lotus Pools), Su Causeway, and Guo's Villa. It's super convenient for walks by the lake in the mornings and evenings. In the mornings, you can hear the birds and squirrels by the lake, which is lovely. However, you can also hear people's voices and footsteps quite clearly from outside in the mornings and evenings. On a side note, the hotel's bubble tea is also pretty good.

We stayed for 2 nights. The location is spectacular right on the famous West Lake. The cabin was really clean but somewhat underwhelming in its appearance compared to pictures and smelt quite musty and damp. The beds was also super hard/ like sleeping on a board so we didn’t sleep well which is also a shame! The staff were lovely and friendly but an annoying factor was they seemed to have encouraged some sort of photographic event with fish tanks in the garden so this meant the place was over run by kids just coming to take pictures, this even included them hanging out on the cabin doors to pretend they were staying! This meant the place was totally crowded by people just there to take photos!

Location: Absolutely the best value for money right by West Lake! It's nestled within Quyuan Garden, just a few steps from West Lake. Situated by Yanggong Dyke, it's a wonderfully quiet spot. Hangzhou Botanical Garden is right opposite. Surrounded by redwoods, it feels incredibly cozy. As others have mentioned, the fish tank in the garden restaurant can be a bit noisy, but in the early mornings and evenings, it feels like West Lake is all yours. Oh! There's also self-drive boating within 200m! 30 yuan for half an hour, the most budget-friendly boating on West Lake.
Facilities: It's a standalone wooden cabin, so it's a bit older. But the facilities inside are quite good.
Hygiene: The bedding was very clean, which was reassuring.
Service: The front desk staff were genuinely wonderful; the service from the lady at the front desk was one of the reasons we extended our stay.
If you want to experience a tranquil and different side of West Lake, I genuinely, genuinely recommend this place!

The hotel room was great! It's a bit small, but fully equipped. It's a standalone cabin with fantastic natural light. The only slight drawback was that parking wasn't super convenient, but the service was incredibly attentive and thorough, and the restaurant food was delicious! It's also very close to the Golden Light Cave.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its excellent location, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a leisurely, in-depth exploration of West Lake's core scenic area. Everything is just a short walk away. The free parking is also a huge plus; although it's a few minutes' walk to the hotel, the scenery along the way is beautiful, making it a pleasant stroll. It's truly rare to find free parking in the core scenic area, especially during a holiday like May Day, and there were always spaces available. The hotel's service level is also above average and absolutely faultless.
There are some downsides, though. The biggest issue is that the fish tank in the hotel's central courtyard has become a popular photo spot, with people taking pictures from morning till night. My room opened directly onto the courtyard, so I felt a lack of privacy every time I opened my door to enter or exit. Also, the facilities in the room itself are a bit dated.
Overall, it's a hotel with clear pros and cons, but I'd generally recommend it. It really depends on what you value most.

The hotel is located within the scenic area, which is a great location, and it's also close to Lingyin Temple. The facilities are comprehensive and clean, and the staff are very enthusiastic. There's an Instagrammable fish tank in the courtyard. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

The hotel service was excellent. When we checked out, the staff proactively helped us with our luggage to the taxi stand, and quickly returned an item we'd left in the room. The room's balcony had a beautiful view with birds and cats; the bird songs were lovely, and the air was fresh. The food was also delicious. They even changed the bedsheets and duvet covers without us asking. They also helped reheat our food. Many thanks!

An excellent stay in such a cool location. I’m pretty sure you will never forget this experience! Very convenient to access the T villages from here we go for a jog around Westlake. Staff was very friendly as well keeping us up-to-date on different things and giving us recommendations. The value was superb compared to neighboring options.

Conveniently located with free parking right by West Lake, and even free EV charging stations in the lot – excellent! For this price point, I completely accept the older facilities. This trip was for hiking, but next time I'm definitely going for a run around West Lake. This hotel's location is incredibly convenient, stepping right out into a natural oxygen bar.

Was a lovely stay! Felt like a jungle. Wifi was a little tricky as an international, but they came to our room to help. We stayed in our own bungalow style room. It's a wonderful vibe on the property. The fries were funnily some of the best I've ever eaten. The mattress was one of the firm mattresses, but it was softer than others we've stayed in in china. They were very welcoming and the ac/heater worked great once we figured it out. Was a little odd to have people walk by the windows with the curtains open but it was fine early in the morning or late at night with less foot traffic. Really loved it there!
