Rooms are very dated and not very clean. The bathrooms are very old as well. They don't even have flat TVs. Not that I watch telly when on holidays but it is a bit of an eye sore in this day and age. The lady at the reception was extremely unfriendly and rude. I came to complain about the big brown stains on my bed and she left me there boiling and took on other customers. I was not offered even a simple apology. Nor was I given a hand with the luggage although it was really obvious that I was struggling. On the other hand, the staff in the restaurant was fantastic and the food was really good for a 3 star hotel. Surprisingly tasty. This hotel is in a nice location. However, you still have about 15 min by foot to reach the city center. They have a beach underneath but you have to pay a hefty sum to use the sunshades and sunbeds. The garden with the jacuzzi was the best part of the hotel although they were a bit unkempt too. It is cheaper than most of the other hotels in the area but I think that's for a good reason. I would advise you to splurge a bit and get a nicer place if you're already spending lots of money to vacation in glamorous Hvar :). This place has some positive sides but it badly needs a major re-haul. I could have stayed in a boutique hotel in Paris for the price they charge. This shabby hotel probably used to be nice back in the day but today it's more or less falling apart.
