Hotel Lucija in Posedarje

Based on the good reviews, we decided to spend one night at this hotel during our Dalmatian tour. What a disappointment.

The room was relatively clean, but the bathroom was terrible. There were pubic hairs around the toilet and in the shower, the trash bin was dusty, the shower was clogged so water barely came out, the cabin door hardly opened, and there was mold on the tiles. I honestly felt disgusted taking a shower.

The balcony furniture was also in poor condition – the chair cushions were dirty and torn, which made it unpleasant to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Breakfast was on the level of a 2-star hotel, not 4 as advertised. The cold cuts looked several days old and had already changed color, the glass of water I received with my coffee was dirty as if it hadn’t been washed in a long time, and the tablecloths in the restaurant were stained. This is nothing like what we usually experience in a proper 4-star hotel.

The view from the room was nice, and the small private beach is charming, but it’s simply not worth the money we paid for one night with breakfast. No matter how convenient the beach is, I definitely won’t be coming back — the hotel is not clean, tidy, or maintained the way it should be.
