I was satisfied with my stay. Everything was clean, and the staff was very kind and hardworking. The only downside was that the beds were quite worn out, wobbly and squeaky, and the food and drink selection could have been better.

Hotel is asking for refreshments as all the facilities are used for many years now and grade for that part alone wouldn't be the best. Great hotel, clean room. Hotel by the beach, available parking. Good spread of breakfast. Disabled room is very wheelchair friendly and hotel is completely disabled friendly. You can even wheel into the pool with ramp and into the open sea with ramp. Will definitely stay here again.

Kolovare Hotel is located on Kolovare Beach and has an outdoor swimming pool. It is a few minutes away from Zadar Bus Station, about a fifteen-minute walk from Zadar Old Town, and about a 20-minute walk from the Sea Organ. It is quite convenient and offers a decent breakfast. It is suitable for people traveling from Zadar to other places.

Good location close to attractions and the beach, very good breakfast buffet. The unprofessional reception staff, instead of welcoming us, started informing us about check-in times. Balconies have a brick wall with holes that obstruct the view.

There is nothing in the room, no slippers, no kettle, no toothbrush and toothpaste. It seems to be like this here and the price is very high.

Not satisfied, service facilities are poor

I'm not sure why this hotel is only rated 3 stars. It's fantastic, from the food, to the staff, to where it's located. It a hidden gem in my opinion. Loads of parking spaces. Clean rooms. Nothing bad to say about here at all.

Fabulous budget hotel, right on the beach, lots of indoor and outdoor space. Rooms a decent size if a ligttle tired, balcony and seaview rooms are lovely. All-inclusive offering very extensive and exceptional value for money although as the hotel caters predominantly for German clientele expect that represented in the food.

The rooms vere nice, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious. But our problem was that we got a room right above the stage which was very loud at night till 10.30/11.00. As we have small kids, we didn't appreciate it. As a hotel that is family friendly with a kids program, we didn't understand why it was so. Also, the air condition didn't work last two days. It was very hot.

Our room was clean, it had a beautiful view and the staff was very friendly. The food on the other hand is below average and there were always huge lines during dinner and lunch which resulted in us eating out every time. Underwhelming Booked a double bed, got a pushed together twin. Room was a little on the tired side. Shower was tiny, leaked over the floor, and had the toilet immediately in front of it (had to step out diagonally). And not their fault, but the road to the hotel was blocked, so had to walk with our luggage some distance to get there. No communication to inform us of that.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, balcony overlooking the sea. There is even a hot tub to use outside and spa facilities. Great resort for families with a lot to do for children, multiple playgrounds, a kids program, a kif friendly beach and lots of children for kids to play with.

The hotel accommodation conditions are average. It is the cheapest one on this trip. If you are looking for enjoyment, don't choose it. It is about the size of a domestic seaside guesthouse in the 1990s. It is also the only hotel that charges for parking.

We stayed in the superior apartment which was perfect for a family of 5. My son slept on a sofa bed which would sleep 2 people if needed. The cleaners came daily and changed towels and bins. You can rent beach towels at the Spa for €3 each and keep them for the duration of your stay. The hotel was quiet as it’s pre season and get the impression it gets very busy in high season . We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior apartment plenty space for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The real highlight is the the warm waters of the Adriatic being 30 seconds from the apartment. The resort is built around the magnificent scenery of an Adriatic inlet.

The perfect hotel for a family holiday. Away from the city, off the beaten track. Silence peace. There are swimming pools, a court, a playground, playgrounds, restaurants on site.

Our best recommendations. We stayed at the hotel for three days in June, but managed to enjoy the incredible view of the sea from the room and also just relax. I would like to say that I was very disappointed that you have to buy your own water when dinning. It’s as if they are cashing in on your need to drink water with your meal. The room and bathroom were perfect, the staff is just so sweet and the access to the sea right across the road is perfect for sun bathing and swimming. Villa is located is fantastic spot exactly opposite the beach. Good breakfast every day. Rooms is clean but little bit dated. When you going to swim you need to wear rubber swim shoes to protect your feet from Sea urchins.

This property was beautiful, and the location was ideal. It was beautifully decorated, it was comfortable, and it met all our needs. The parking is a bit tricky, so be careful where you park. Fab room in the Old Town Perfect little respite for adventuring around Zadar, or out to the Plitvice Lakes. This room was my little space of heaven with a massive bed and a hot shower. I had views down the Old Town streets and was just steps away from the ferry (and luggage storage after checking out). Will stay again next time I'm back in Zadar!

Don’t book a comfort room. Place is tired. Room was clean. Comfort rooms all have awful views over the kitchen and air duct system. The air conditioning didn’t work. There are no lifts in the building. Felt a bit tired.

The room was clean, but small and outdated, shower very small, confortroom view is a roof top!!! Which was very disappointing. Beach is not private its open to public. Had to pay extra to change my booking dates and it wasn't worth it. Old hotel, about 1 hour walk from old town, over all wasn't satisfied.

The hotel itself was not in the centre but it’s closer to the airport which we wanted exactly. The food was good and we had a good variety of meals. The staff is friendly and helpful. First of all, the good thing is that the parking lot is large, so I didn't have to worry about parking during this trip. The staff was friendly. It can't help but feel like an old hotel.

There was no hair dryer, refrigerator, coffee pot, etc., and the facilities were a bit old, but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Our room had good air conditioning. It seems like there are other rooms as well. Breakfast was so-so. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and one of the cabinet doors was broken. Cleanliness was good.
