We had a wonderful stay at Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora. It is truly designed for families from the great facilities for children to the kindness and helpfulness of every employee we met. The food was excellent, with dinners in particular being a highlight each day. A perfect choice for a relaxed family holiday.

Great place for family vacation. Family enjoyed the buffet for dinner and breakfast. However, a bit far with our primary reason for being there was the see the city of Split.

Great hotel, clean room. Hotel by the beach, available parking. Good spread of breakfast. Disabled room is very wheelchair friendly and hotel is completely disabled friendly. You can even wheel into the pool with ramp and into the open sea with ramp. Will definitely stay here again.

Kolovare Hotel is located on Kolovare Beach and has an outdoor swimming pool. It is a few minutes away from Zadar Bus Station, about a fifteen-minute walk from Zadar Old Town, and about a 20-minute walk from the Sea Organ. It is quite convenient and offers a decent breakfast. It is suitable for people traveling from Zadar to other places.

Good location close to attractions and the beach, very good breakfast buffet. The unprofessional reception staff, instead of welcoming us, started informing us about check-in times. Balconies have a brick wall with holes that obstruct the view.

There is nothing in the room, no slippers, no kettle, no toothbrush and toothpaste. It seems to be like this here and the price is very high.

Not satisfied, service facilities are poor

When we arrived at the resort, we had to wait for our villa to be ready — which would have been completely understandable, had everything actually been prepared. Unfortunately, when we entered the villa, we discovered that the air conditioning wasn’t working. This raised questions about what exactly was done during the 4-hour preparation period. Great resort for families with a lot to do for children, multiple playgrounds, a kids program, a kif friendly beach and lots of children for kids to play with.

The hotel accommodation conditions are average. It is the cheapest one on this trip. If you are looking for enjoyment, don't choose it. It is about the size of a domestic seaside guesthouse in the 1990s. It is also the only hotel that charges for parking.

We stayed in the superior apartment which was perfect for a family of 5. My son slept on a sofa bed which would sleep 2 people if needed. The cleaners came daily and changed towels and bins. You can rent beach towels at the Spa for €3 each and keep them for the duration of your stay. The hotel was quiet as it’s pre season and get the impression it gets very busy in high season . We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior apartment plenty space for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The real highlight is the the warm waters of the Adriatic being 30 seconds from the apartment. The resort is built around the magnificent scenery of an Adriatic inlet.

Ladies at front desk are the best

This large hotel has 6 floors and is also visited by large coach groups, but is nicely situated on the boulevard and near the various restaurants. Contrary to what was previously written on TripAdvisor, you can park your car for free behind the hotel. There is a barrier and at the reception they can see on camera if you are standing in front of it and the barrier then goes up. The entrance looks nice...

The room was clean, but small and outdated, shower very small, confortroom view is a roof top!!! Which was very disappointing. Beach is not private its open to public. We chose the hotel based on the views and the pics online, and were not disappointed! The hotel is located roughly 30mins away by car in Biograd Na Moru from Zadar airport. A taxi will cost you 45-50 euro’s roughly. You can go by bus, which you have to book beforehand or whilst there. Airport bus transfer to zadar center will take 25mins and will cost 5 euros-ish. Then you have to get another bus...

Overall a great hotel that also catered for late checkins which helped alot, thankfully reception called me before the 10am checkout as ide slept in due to the black out blinds so i managed to still grab some breakfast. There are many bakeries, bars, a shop, and a drugstore nearby, so everything you need is nearby. The room and bathroom are in excellent condition. We prebooked and paid through *********** for 3 nights, we booked a king room with a balcony. The entrance way to the rooms, is not very attractive, however please dont put you off booking. Nice apartment, but bad maintenance. First apartment: could’nt close the door and we got a waterleakage in the kitchen. Lucky us, we got to switch apartment. At the beach: sun beds are reserved from early in the morning. No one removes towels. At the Zanzibar restaurant and pool, you have to pay extra for sunbeds, the pool bar is closed, the food is poor and the service lousy. bring your own ketchup...

A tremendous place stay just on outskirts of town centre and 200 metres from the sea/ harbour. Lovely room with two balconies. Very helpful staff with great local knowledge; Jakop recommended three fantastic restaurants. But the best aspect was the superb breakfasts, just amazing with lovely home cooked cakes etc. Best we have experienced anywhere in Europe . Very good value for money.
