This is a nice hotel, conveniently located close to the town of Novigrad. A pleasant beach is just a minute's walk away. The outdoor pools were a bit crowded but are still great if you are traveling with kids
Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide variety of food to suit all tastes. The location is perfect—near the city center of Novigrad, just a few meters from the beach and parks
The staff were incredibly welcoming making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Rooms were equipped and comfortable, and the food—especially the seafood—was top-notch
Execellent location, food and wellness! Hotel Maestral exceeded all expectations. The location is breathtaking, right by the sea with stunning views
The sea was beautiful, clear and perfect for swimming. We would definitely love to come back again! 🌊✨
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect – the staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids’ club was amazing, our children really enjoyed it
Beach: convenient, a stone's throw away, clear sea and pebble-free areas, with sand. Cemented area with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. You just have to rush to grab them. There needs to be more control from the workers
Cheaper generic cola wasn’t good. The beach and pool area were nice
Well-kept structure, in a wonderful setting! Sea in front, a wonderful pine forest with a walkable path that leads to Umag, with a train available, which passes by marinas, villas, other resorts
Beautiful! Rooms: clean and comfortable All inclusive: everything is there! Catering: beautiful room with terrace overlooking the sea
Good quality, the choice is varied, and they have alternatives for intolerances, just a little repetitive. For the cost in August and the stars should put in a little more effort
Swimming pool with surprisingly high water temperature, almost thermal was surprise early in the morning in second half of September!!
Very close to the coastal trail with access to the beach, rental equipment, and the little train to town
The trip from the bedroom to the restaurant or the pool is a bit cumbersome, as the elevator only goes to the reception area, and you have to walk down the length of the lobby and down the stairs to go to them
The highlight for us was the quality of the food in the restaurant, as well as all the staff there. Everyone in the restaurant area are extremely friendly and helpful
Their fitness classes were one of the best parts of my stay – fun, energizing, and suitable for everyone. They made it easy to stay active without feeling pressured. Even just watching them made you want to join in
We had a perfect stay at Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna! Everything was excellent – from the service and cleanliness to the beautiful surroundings
The beach is lovely and well-kept. One big advantage is the free charging for electric cars – a real plus! Overall, a solid choice for a relaxing seaside holiday
The room is perfect, the balcony faces the sea
But the front desk service is average and not enthusiastic
The restaurant near the hotel is not good
Hotel offers private parking which was great, location is right on the beach of Stella Maris and close to everything. Rooms were quite basic, but clean, nice balcony with a beautiful sea view
We spent a few days at Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna in September 2024 and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean and nicely maintained, with a calm atmosphere
The room is always clean, great facilities, the kids club was superb, friendly staff especially the sport staff who always help us to get sun lounger. Our son enjoyed the pool as it's not too deep
We stayed in this hotel as a family during spring 2023 (March) a couple of nights on full board basis. Pool was closed during this period, so cannot comment about that
A large hotel complex with 4 swimming pools, located right on the seafront in a beautiful bay. Just a few minutes walk from the city center. This spacious room is well equipped with a minibar and air conditioning
The alternation of hot dishes, salads, unfortunately, is always the same. Stand gravel, rocky in the sea, but very clean, no sea urchins. All in all, highly recommended for a beach holiday
Our rooms on 7th floor like student accommodation. Very few photos show this hotel bedrooms. Most reviews are from foreign guests
Lovely getaway
The views are beautiful. And the balconies are spacious but know that your neighbour may be a smoker and the smoke drifts into your room. It is difficult to find umbrellas either at the pool or beach
Lovely hotel with a marvelouse view. Food is good and staff is very helpful. You can enjoy in indoor and outdoor swiming pool. You can take lovely walks by the sea most of the year
Everything was excellent once again. The one thing missing was evening entertainment. Great for families, young and old. You can walk out of your hotel and straight onto the beach
Great pool and location near the sea. Great beds in the park. Breakfast was delicious and very rich assortment. Parking infront off the hotel. Super place for sightseeing Rovinj and Pula.
A hotel with a super good location and full sea view. The rooms are large and clean, with plenty of hot water. The hotel has its own beach and seaside green space. The price of the hotel restaurant is moderate
Rooms very modern, service extraordinarily hard-working and nice. The pool could be a bit bigger, but there is a great shady garden with hammocks, beds and loungers
Excellent hotel, clean, modern, well kept gardens, beautiful pool area, polite and helpful staff. The gym is well provider for for the size of the hotel
Lovely hotel set in pine forest. Easy to get to quick taxi from airport. Good facilities and lovely Espa toiletries. Little stroll down to a rocky beach in a cove
There is nothing that you don’t like about this property. This hotel is very well managed with professionals, friendly, and guest oriented people and of course, a lot of choice what to do for everybody.
It has all the facilities you require from a hotel - pool, dining, bar, small shop, cafe and it's very close to the sea where there are other facilites such as trattoria, sun bed hire and a wide range of watersports
We had a sea view from our room, which was great, especially watching the thunderstorms over the sea on a couple of evenings. The staff were all friendly, as were all the Croatians we met
Areas including the lobby are dark and the long corridor to the pool is dismal
we stayed at this hotel> it matched all that we hoped for. situation : ideal for walks into the town - opposite way into woods and walks along the shore
We chose the half board option, so breakfast and dinner in a buffet style. Again this was fine but got a bit samey after a week, but there are many restaurants close by and in Poreč for variety
There are many hotels in the area, most more modern than the Pical (pronounced Pee-sal in Croatian) so when compared against them the appearance of the Pical is dissaponting
Plus pool bottom and sides are all in white color, making it impossible to determine pool edges if you're swimming with open eyes or diving. We didnt't have time to go to wellness or gym, so no idea if that's good or not
Pools outside are clean and very comfortable, also they give you clean towels every time you go there take a bath
Pool is mediocre, for some basic dipping and swimming it's ok, but if you want a lane to swim in, forget it
The spa is quite small, also the rooms are not so big and the style is quite old. Food is nice and very efficient service
It's a big hotel and things run smoothly. However, for the price we paid, we expected a bit better room (one light wasn't working) and at least free parking. Restaurant was great with variety of food and soft drinks
Hotel staff should have known better and place family with small children away from little noisy footballers, after all they asked children age during booking procedure
You can use sunbeds on the beach for free but they are a bit further away from the sea. It looks as if whatever can be sold in Croatia will be sold as you can't enjoy a view without paying for it
We had a very nice stay at Maslinica. We already plan our next visit😃 our first trip to Croatia but not the last one.
They are tiny and they don't have a balcony or a terrace so the experience of having such a room is not great. I spoke to two people who upgraded to better rooms with the balcony/terrace and a sea view
You cannot have your coffee in the morning there either as the only way to use is to buy something from very overpriced bar. When you arrive at the hotel there is no warm welcome or any welcome at al unfortunately
All these upselling of things which is a part of the hotel experience in the majority of other countries is irritating to say the least. On the first night at the hotel people were not allowed to use a terrace
Croatia is a mesmirisingly beautiful country and it is really nice to visit it and enjoy its beauty. The hotel is situated in a small place called Rabac and overall I had a wonderful time there

However the highlight of my stay has been always the SPA in particular Sandra who evertime manages to make me feel like a new born baby🫶🌺 she is not only professional and Knowles but also her kindness and beautiful smile even from behind her mask makes my treatment special
Thank you dear Sandra 🌺♥️
My only discontent is maintenance and menu choices, I would just like to highlight that every room we stayed in needs few maintenance issue also the bathroom lock in the spa that was not repaired for the past 3 years, as of the food menu it would be great to see new choices there
This was my favorite hotel on the trip. It's expensive for a reason, and I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. The scenery and service were top-notch, and the location was superb.
I consider Grand park home away from home, every one from reception, concierge, all the F&B outlets staff, pool attendants and all the spa staff knows us and constantly treat us with love and professionalism making our stay joyful and memorable
From our room with its own private plunge pool, overlooking the Old Town, the rooftop pools and the the beautiful promenade with the yacht club, to the amazing culinary experiences at the restaurants, this is a place and a stay we won't forget! The hotel even has its own shuttle boats to bring you to their private beach on a nearby island!
The staff was wonderful, and we got a personal introduction...
Lucija, a waitress at the poolside, deserves special mention as she was always extremely helpful and sunny as the weather! We will definitely be back
I also recommend dinner here - especially seafood ones :) with glass of Prosecco
We had a room with a sea view (highly recommended) and a nice balcony
Brulo Beach is close by, with sun umbrellas and two sunbeds available for less than 20 euros for the whole day
The service and food was wonderful. We returned their time to this hotel. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Staff is very helpful and kind. Great food selection for kids too
Food was very delicious and had a wide choice on buffet. The buffet is nice decorated und all of the services are extremely friendly. The rooms are always clean and offer a cozy atmosphere
Food choices are really great, there is lots of variety, clean pool and all around premises. The rooms and bathrooms could do with a bit of modernisation
Only small thing: the pools could’ve been a bit warmer, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it’s a beautiful place and we’d totally come back!
Family vacation 4 persons 9 days stay
Great: daily room service, nice villa, gas grill possibility, perfect sport activities around the whole village, great pool bars with nice beverages and menus, kids club and mini disco every evening
Since we were there outside of the holiday season, it was really quiet and peaceful – perfect for relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful the whole time
I politely asked for a move and they were able to give us the same size villa. They were very accommodating with this change. The location is close driving distance to Umag
We were able to go into town and explore waterfront restaurants. Many water sports were available for purchase and my son and husband enjoyed many of them
We stayed at Plava Villas and absolutely loved it! The small villas are super charming and well-kept, and the view is just amazing
Beaches are spacious and comfortable. Additional amenities such as the pool, bicycle rentals, SUP boards, and other activities are easily accessible and fun for guests of all ages
Everything was just easy and enjoyable. We returned home full of energy and wonderful memories. Would definitely recommend Petalon to anyone looking for a calm, nature-surrounded seaside holiday in Istria
Does it have the best beaches? No, but it has not one but multiple beach options (for everyone's taste) and there's natural shade on some of them
We especially loved the easy access to the beach and the walking paths along the shoreline. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious, with enough variety to please everyone
All the amenities are there, it's clean and tidy, the food is great and diverse, and most importantly - it has kids entertainment center with content throughout the day/week, incl. swimming courses for 4+ year olds
The staff is friendly and helpful. Poreč and Rovinj are nearby for daily excursions + the dino park in Funtana is surprisingly well done w/ lots of shade. All in all - warm recommendations for families
older but well-maintained hotel, perfect pastries for breakfast, good all inclusive (drinks and food all day), wonderful new wellness, helpful staff. in some rooms the air conditioning was not working properly
Excellent hotel.. ledt my passport and moneybin drawer in room by mistake one day was untouched ... nothing was too much trouble there
the staff was helpful and changed the room to a better one with good air conditioning
Excellent modern hotel, clean and well maintained.
went all inclusive. plenty of varity of food all areas spotlessly clean. staff friendly and eager to help. would be nice to have tea and coffee in room
Looks like a cruise ship that got stuck on the land. But it's ok.
The pools are fantastic, and our children absolutely adored the waterslides
The hotel itself was excellent the staff were amazing, rooms cleaned daily ,pools were good lots of seating around the pool, staff at the Ala park pool bar were lovely and their lots of activities for our kids to enjoy day and night
This hotel is excellent, modern, clean and spacious. The facilities are very good, although the pools are quite deep, seemingly without shallow ends. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating
There are a few bars and restaurants near the hotel and the beach literally across the road. The beach is pretty much concrete but the sunsets are amazing. Porec is stunning and well worth a visit
Wow!
Wow, it's my first time to Croatia and to be so lucky with my choice of hotel is unbelievable. The staff and the quality og the hotel was just amazing. I recommended this hotel to anyone. The food was also great!
Nice new hotel, nice location, parking nice, food average
If it's restaurant quality food you want then go to a restaurant! Pool area small but not a towel-on-bed-all-day type of place. Very close to everything, lovely atmosphere, beautiful area
Nice old style hotel and most of the stuff.... Close to beach
Because in that bay all of the hotels is one company, they organised show like: kid show, rock concert and sport competition, and they were very very great. That was my favorite activity
It’s been a great holiday! The staff were kind, the food was better than I expected and we had a great time there. We were on a 7 day holiday as a family
Could you please check this? There are no other means of contacting you apart from calling the phone number, which would incur international charges
Unfortunately the escalator didn’t work, so we had to use the stairs with our so many package. The best part was the shows at night
Rooms: cleaned daily fridge toiletries hairdryer and free safe plenty of storage space and air con. We had a pool view and sea view. There is no kettle but I took my own
Restaurant: we couldn’t fault the food plenty of choice never went hungry. Pool: nice refreshing pool same level all over. You could change pool towels throughout the day
Nice and friendly staff, they’re all very kind. The hotel itself could use little renovation, carpets are old and dated. Also they could put as information that the hotel pool is for non swimmers
Location excellent, breakfast and evening meal both very good. Rooms facing the pool were ok , and the staff service was exemplary
Doesn’t seem enough sun loungers for amount of guests. We think we were the only English there but that didn’t both us. All staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely return and would recommend
Overall, it's a very good hotel, the rooms could use renovation, but otherwise they are fine. The mattress in the room should be changed more often, because it was quite worn
The staff were one of the highlights of my stay—professional, friendly, and always willing to help with any request. Their positive attitude really made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience
The hotel facilities were also very good, and everything worked as expected. Whether it was the common areas, dining options, or overall ambiance, everything contributed to a pleasant and stress-free stay
The spa was spotless clean and the breakfast full with choices. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a welcoming atmosphere
Loved the hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient and speak a variety of international languages. Breakfast room was a bit chaotic and not very exciting. Over all a great holiday place
I recently stayed at Adriatic Resort for three days, and I had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The entire stay was smooth, comfortable, and very enjoyable
It has many outdoor pools and Jacuzzi plus an indoor spa and gym and there are some nice walks around the coastline plus a small private beach with views across to Italy and Slovenia
All in all, I would recommend this hotel for the proximity to the sea, suitability for kids and waking up next to wonderful views of the sea, lovely food and kind staff
(I trawed in 2023) i was at the top flor and couse of kichen the ac was laud in a midle of the night even if was shut down. Hotel is nice the rooms are cosy.... Recomwnd but not top flor
The view from the hotel is absolutely incredible. Whether you’re relaxing on the terrace or enjoying a drink at the café, the sea scenery is just breathtaking. It really adds something special to the whole experience
Hotel Umag Plava Laguna in Croatia is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway by the Adriatic Sea. I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I cannot recommend it highly enough
The nearby beach is just as impressive, featuring clean sands and plenty of loungers for sunbathing. Swimming in the crystal-clear water was a refreshing experience
Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking the sea

We had our e-bikers group with 28 people in total one night in the hotel and it was absolutely wonderful! Large, comfortable rooms with perfect views, kind and helpful staff, had the chance to watch the UEFA Inter - Barcelona in the lounge
Beautifull, comfortable and a great qualty rooms! Real nautical style 10/10. Excellent location, excellent service! We do travel a lot but a deal like this we have never seen (value/qualty)
We especially loved the tiled swimming pool, the Finnish Sauna, the Steam Sauna (aka Turkish Bath), and Emotional Shower. Jacuzzi was also nice, but keep in mind that it’s only set to between 32 and 36 Celsius
Parking is included! We decided to stay 3 nights and we don't regret it! The port of Novigrad is within walking distance and so are swimming opportunities in the sea! Highly recommended!
However, I have some feedback for the hotel management
It would have been nice if the pool area and SPA & Wellness had hours when it is child-free!
As for the rooms, the carpet is the only thing that is worn and lowers the impression
