One of the nicest vacation we had as a family. The hotel is great, the staff was nice and helpfull, everything was spotless. The only thing we disliked were the pillows, a bit too soft for us, but otherwise nice and big room, nice and comfy bed. The amenities were great and the food was delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect, near to the port and old town, but not that near to hear any noise...

We spent 5 days at the Imperial Heritage Hotel on Rab island in August and it was lovely. The food is excellent (half board) with a wide selection. Very friendly staff - particular praise goes to Iva on reception, Petar on front of house at the restaurant and (sorry forgotten their names) the lovely Filipino chef and the Austrian waiter. Amazing experience. Close to everything in the city, but hidden in the beautiful nature. Pool is great, and beach is a 6 min walk away. Entertainment at night keeps it fun if you dont feel like stroll ing the old town - acoustic music, movie nights, dance shows. Has a neat gym and great outdoor activities like biking and guided runs. The hotel is right next to Central Station, making travel very convenient. Our room had a balcony facing Mount Vesuvius, and all amenities, including slippers and shampoo, were provided. It was perfect for our family of three and I highly recommend it.

When I arrived, while taking a shower I realized that the bath drain was clogged and had to clean it myself (as I was already soaking wet). Everything was wonderful. This is the best hotel in the whole area. The staff were all so hospitable and friendly.

The breakfast is very small, acceptable in a 3-star hotel, but not in a 5-star hotel. Saunas are too small, working on request. You have to pay for sup-s, rather lot, which is unacceptable in an expensive hotel like this one. It is difficult to get in the sea, no ladder.

The hotel accommodation conditions are average. It is the cheapest one on this trip. If you are looking for enjoyment, don't choose it. It is about the size of a domestic seaside guesthouse in the 1990s. It is also the only hotel that charges for parking.

We stayed in the superior apartment which was perfect for a family of 5. My son slept on a sofa bed which would sleep 2 people if needed. The cleaners came daily and changed towels and bins. You can rent beach towels at the Spa for €3 each and keep them for the duration of your stay. The hotel was quiet as it’s pre season and get the impression it gets very busy in high season . We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior apartment plenty space for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The real highlight is the the warm waters of the Adriatic being 30 seconds from the apartment. The resort is built around the magnificent scenery of an Adriatic inlet.

The air conditioning didn't work well. You had to climb up into a high tub to shower. You have to drive into a one way gated area to reach the lobby and drop off luggage, and then you can drive to a parking garage several blocks away to park. Great walkability to the main city promenade from the hotel. The morning breakfast buffet was AMAZING, and more than made up for the room.

Return visit My fifth stay at this hotel and it is a very enjoyable experience. Although the food is in buffet form the standard is very high. The outside dining terrace has splendid views. The new wing adds a third swimming pool which is indoor and outdoor. All pools are heated. The main language used in the hotel is German.

The pool is very clean, there are always sun beds available around the pool and the deck area with the comfy sofas in the shade under the umbrellas is a great idea.
