Well, my kids did not want to stay anywhere else on our journey back home. And I gladly agreed.

Staff were extremely friendly especially Kiki the lovely dog you'll meet out front. Hotel is in a great location to access the bear sanctuary or Plitvice national park. The beer and other drinks are very well priced. A must stay if your in the area.

Basic, beds were old but comfortable.  Air con wasn't on. Appearantly, they put it on when they think it's necessary. Bathroom was reasonably clean, some mold though. And the smell was horrible.  The bathroom sink didn't have swan neck in the drain, hence the open sewer smell Food was very basic. Restaurant had an enormous choice of dishes. But everything we had was super basic. Quite cheap though...

Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs.

Pack light, you’ve got 4 flights of stairs but it’s worth it and they will send someone to handle your luggage if needed. The room was really great, and the location ideal.

It was a lovely space right in the heart of old town close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

Room lovely location perfect for exploring

When we arrived at the resort, we had to wait for our villa to be ready — which would have been completely understandable, had everything actually been prepared. Unfortunately, when we entered the villa, we discovered that the air conditioning wasn’t working. This raised questions about what exactly was done during the 4-hour preparation period. Great resort for families with a lot to do for children, multiple playgrounds, a kids program, a kif friendly beach and lots of children for kids to play with.

The hotel accommodation conditions are average. It is the cheapest one on this trip. If you are looking for enjoyment, don't choose it. It is about the size of a domestic seaside guesthouse in the 1990s. It is also the only hotel that charges for parking.

We stayed in the superior apartment which was perfect for a family of 5. My son slept on a sofa bed which would sleep 2 people if needed. The cleaners came daily and changed towels and bins. You can rent beach towels at the Spa for €3 each and keep them for the duration of your stay. The hotel was quiet as it’s pre season and get the impression it gets very busy in high season . We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior apartment plenty space for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The real highlight is the the warm waters of the Adriatic being 30 seconds from the apartment. The resort is built around the magnificent scenery of an Adriatic inlet.

The perfect hotel for a family holiday. Away from the city, off the beaten track. Silence peace. There are swimming pools, a court, a playground, playgrounds, restaurants on site.

Although the hotel is housed in an older building, its location in Poreč is truly unbeatable. While there’s no on-site parking, a dedicated lot is conveniently located nearby. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a view of the sea is an unforgettable experience.

Really close to the ferry terminal, which is such a relief after a long day of travel with luggage. Room was clean and spacious. Only stayed for one night. Very typical hotel vibe.

As part of bus tour, we stayed here for 2 nights in cottage 6, room 4. Each cottage seems to have about 10 rooms and ours was 3rd floor but young staff did deliver and collect bags to and from our door. We were travelling with a group & stayed at this great resort. Food was fabulous with the breakfast spread being a stand out. Staff were super friendly. Our room in one of the chalets was comfortable ( 15 steps up to the room was a bit daunting after walking around the Plitvice lakes for 2 1/2 hours - but staff carried bags up & down for us.). The most amazing, serene location. Nature sounds everywhere, wonderful places to sit and enjoy, the restaurant was great too. It feels like truly being in nature, and super easy access to Plitvice Lakes park. The reception will guide you easily into how to make a great experience out of the park.

One star less than 5 stars is just for narrow forest road that leads to the village. Otherwise, place is perfect for nature lovers. In the pristine nature in one of the most beautiful places of Croatia, staying here is privilege whenever you come: from snowy winter to hot summer. Houses are nice, wooden, comfortable and clean. Marvellous place, at a stone s throw from the lakes. Charming wooden houses, warm and friendly staff. Very welcoming. Ideal accommodation for families with a number of activities including a petting farm. Very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. The only downside, the food was slightly on the expensive side. Otherwise, a magical experience!

Great location and great seaview. We had a room on 4/F with a small balcony and I sat there to enjoy the view for hours. We parked our rental car right in front of the hotel which cost EUR 11 for a night. Highly recommend this hotel.

Underwhelming Booked a double bed, got a pushed together twin. Room was a little on the tired side. Shower was tiny, leaked over the floor, and had the toilet immediately in front of it (had to step out diagonally). And not their fault, but the road to the hotel was blocked, so had to walk with our luggage some distance to get there. No communication to inform us of that.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, balcony overlooking the sea. There is even a hot tub to use outside and spa facilities. There was a bus stop opposite the hotel which was perfect to go into the town (15minutes) The hotel was very homely and the staff were all excellent. Perfect location, very helpful and pleasant staff. Food was also excellent. Since, we played tennis every day we found very convenient. Courts were much above the expectation regarding quality for hotel courts. Very good preparation and the maintenance.

Accommodation for one night with half board. Dinner was great and breakfast too. Near Stari Grad and a walking path around the sea to Opatija. We liked it.

We stayed one night here . Tour manager told us there are very limited hotels within the quiet town of Lovran.. It is a very compacted & rather boutique style hotel.. Wonderful hotel, right next to the beach with friendly and helpful staff and tasty breakfast! The hotel is on the main square, so it can be noisy in the evening when there are some happenings, but they usually do not lasts longer than 10:30pm. Rooms are very clean albeit some of them are small. All in all one of the best places to stay in Fazana.

We loved the location of this boutique hotel. So easy to enjoy Fasana as well as hop on the ferry to Brijuni island. Pula and its ancient arena is only 15 mins away. Our room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was substantial. A paid lot for our rental car was only 5 mins away and hotel staff used their golf cart to help us with our bags. We highly recommend!

Amazing, very cozy hotel in absolut mint condition. Located in the picturesque town of Fazana just in the right size with a very good beach, near Brijuni and with a lot of really good restaurant (such as La Bodega). The staff is awesome, very welcoming and serviceminded. Although the breakfast ain’t the biggest one in sortiments it’s of the highest quality and plenty enough.

Excellent value for money. Location is perfect; in the town center while 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and boats which take you to the stunning Brijuni islands. Danijel from the front desk saved my day when I walked in at 8 am due to insomnia caused by mosquitoes at my property nearby. He immediately gave me a cute room for a reasonable price so I didn’t have to wait for a check-in time...

Functional hotel, had/provided everything we needed! A bit outdated and our room was extemely small.

The hotel is lovely, in an old fashioned way. The rooms still have keys which can be a bit fiddley to work. The rooms were very clean, a good size, the hotel was quiet. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was a bit sparse for the cost but enough there to fill you up. Close to lots of restaurants, Sunset beach and a nice walking trail. Old town is a short bus ride away.

Centrally located. Great balcony with a wonderful view. Friendly staff. Only issue I had was I was on the 4th floor and the lift only went to the 3rd floor. As a female solo traveler I had trouble carrying my luggage up the flight of stairs.

I recently stayed at Hotel Perla for two nights after my United flight was canceled in Dubrovnik. I booked the hotel online, and nowhere did it mention that cabs cannot come directly to the hotel — you have to walk a bit since the road is closed for vehicles — or that the rooms required climbing a flight of stairs after taking the elevator. Vela Luka stay The hotel was a newer building and very clean. The bed and pillow was not very comfortable but everything else was excellent.

The Apartments were pretty good and clean but the equipment(spoons etc.) wasnt good at all there were 2 useable knifes the rest were broken. The Water smelt like it was full of Chlor.

Nice hotel for a short vacation from autumn to spring. It is open whole year, but in summer it is too crowded and there is too little of nice beaches. Rooms are fine, food is OK, staff is very helpful and friendy (made extra effort to fill guests wishes). There is also a room service, wellness and spa with massage, gym available. All together, nice stay, not too expensive!

The rooms and the hotel itself have a very outdated design. The evening meal is not buffet style, you are presented with two choices and thats it. Not the hotels fault, but there is not much do do besides the beach.

This was surely something else! Full restaurant of stuffed bears, boars and rabbits. It was like entering both a fairy tale and a horror movie haha. The food was exquisite! And the portions were HUGE! We recommend :) Especially if you're spending a day at Plitvice.

Our stay at The Pucic Palace was truly magnificent. The room, location and atmosphere were wonderful, but what really made it special was the exceptional service. My husband accidentally left his wedding ring in the room and Niko at the front desk went above and beyond to help us: he arranged an Uber so the ring could reach us before our next flight and kept calling to make sure everything was fine...

It’s a beautiful hotel in the most spectacular old town! Plus, extremely friendly and helpful attention. I really recommend a stay here.

In general, the condition of the room was pretty poor. The bathroom had a lot of different problems and needs be fully reconditioned. The bath/shower was dirty and difficult to use without spraying water everywhere. The room has an alarm or detector that blinks brightly at night and the bulbs for lights over the paintings flicker even when power is turned off requiring a sleeping mask.

Everything was good , only was not possible to use wi-fi in our room during our stay.

The hotel reception is on the third floor. The restaurant downstairs has good food and excellent service. There's a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was average, but the ham was quite good. The potato rolls were also good. I would consider staying here again next time I go.

We stayed at the Hotel Salona Palace for two nights. The rooms are unfortunately a bit dated than expected; a renovation or a fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt. The pool area is good, but there's a bee problem near the pool. Towels had holes in them, and spa towels weren't available in unlimited quantities. However, the price was fair. You can take an Uber to the center of Split for around €9.

For a 4-star hotel, the facilities and food are lacking. This is the first time I've seen a place without a coffee machine. Just put frozen coffee in hot water. Free parking. No height restrictions.
