Everything about this property is amazing. Enjoyment for the whole family. All staff are professional and kind.
We had stayed at this property 12 years ago so we decided to stay again. It was not as enjoyable as the first time. It was very noisy and the property had not been maintained very well.
Good resort with all facilities
Good resort with all the facilities which are well maintained. All meals are good with a good spread. Staffs are polite
Top hotel, clean, safe and comfortable! Suitable for long-term vacation
Nice indoor playground and pool for kids 10 and below and free drinks all day.

I'm not sure why this hotel is only rated 3 stars. It's fantastic, from the food, to the staff, to where it's located. It a hidden gem in my opinion. Loads of parking spaces. Clean rooms. Nothing bad to say about here at all.
Fabulous budget hotel, right on the beach, lots of indoor and outdoor space. Rooms a decent size if a ligttle tired, balcony and seaview rooms are lovely. All-inclusive offering very extensive and exceptional value for money although as the hotel caters predominantly for German clientele expect that represented in the food.
The rooms vere nice, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious. But our problem was that we got a room right above the stage which was very loud at night till 10.30/11.00. As we have small kids, we didn't appreciate it. As a hotel that is family friendly with a kids program, we didn't understand why it was so. Also, the air condition didn't work last two days. It was very hot.
Clean, amazing staff, so friendly staff and good food
Very good cost/value for everything
Nice place with all inclusive. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. The rooms was what you could expect, but with very thin walls. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, free parking, modern super clean upscale room and bathroom, nice buffet breakfast included! Very much recommended!
The room is very satisfactory, the heating is sufficient, the sea is opposite, the service staff is very fast, free parking is available, and there is a buffet
Kolovare Hotel is located on Kolovare Beach and has an outdoor swimming pool. It is a few minutes away from Zadar Bus Station, about a fifteen-minute walk from Zadar Old Town, and about a 20-minute walk from the Sea Organ. It is quite convenient and offers a decent breakfast. It is suitable for people traveling from Zadar to other places.
Good location close to attractions and the beach, very good breakfast buffet. The unprofessional reception staff, instead of welcoming us, started informing us about check-in times. Balconies have a brick wall with holes that obstruct the view.
There is nothing in the room, no slippers, no kettle, no toothbrush and toothpaste. It seems to be like this here and the price is very high.
Not satisfied, service facilities are poor

The hotel itself was not in the centre but it’s closer to the airport which we wanted exactly. The food was good and we had a good variety of meals. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and good looking but it would benefit from a fridge in the summer time. Overall everything was good.
Convenient location and nice room.
Everything was very good and very nice but only receiving from the lady of our arrivals to check in.
First of all, the good thing is that the parking lot is large, so I didn't have to worry about parking during this trip. The staff was friendly. It can't help but feel like an old hotel.
There was no hair dryer, refrigerator, coffee pot, etc., and the facilities were a bit old, but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Our room had good air conditioning. It seems like there are other rooms as well. Breakfast was so-so. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and one of the cabinet doors was broken. Cleanliness was good.
Simple institutional style hotel, no frills but clean, just a bit out of the way in a suburban semi industrial area out of the centre. Ok when you get Bolt app.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely exceptional stay!
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Bastion in the heart of Zadar’s old town, we knew this stay would be special. The location inside the historic city walls is unbeatable — everything is within easy walking distance, yet the hotel itself feels calm, elegant, and exclusive.
The room was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, combining...
My two children, husband and I stayed here and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The service was exceptional, the ambience was lovely, the rooms were clean and luxurious, and the location was perfect- very close to all the major sites. My daughter loved that we were staying in a fortress! Every single person at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. This is our favorite hotel of...
My wife and I had the most amazing experience at the Hotel Bastion. From the moment we checked in everyone went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. The woman in charge of the breakfast went above and beyond in assisting us and every morning inquired as to how we slept the neighbors before.
The hotel is located inside the city walls close to the action but secluded enough for the...
Wonderful boutique hotel in a prime location. The staff were absolutely great, especially the front of house team. They were happy to valet our car, making parking a breeze. Getting in and out of the center of the city was surprisingly easy.
Breakfast is both a buffet and a la carte. The room (we had the 002 suite) was cute and clean.
I would happily stay here again. There’s a few waterfront bars...
This is a great hotel for visiting Zadar. The team, especially Ivan at the front desk, Helena the masseuse, and the lovely dining staff, were top notch outstanding. The food was very, very good, albeit pretty pricey. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The view was very nice.

My stay at the Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel in Zadar fulfilled my long-held wish to finally spend some time in this beautiful hotel – and the experience exceeded all expectations. Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel is a stylish place to stay in a quiet and cozy spot minutes from the center of Zadar Old Town. Breakfast was great and set in a cute courtyard.
What made it special is the exceptional service received — the staff were very friendly, helpful, and always went the extra mile, whether it’s sorting parking, sharing great local tips, or just making sure we felt at home. Made...
We ate dinner in the courtyard restaurant. It was good, though a little difficult due to the falling seeds from the plants. One strange feature was that we called by late in the afternoon and we were told the restaurant was fully booked that night. Walking past later, we saw several empty tables and were seated. Maybe there were just cancellations or no shows, but I hope they don't tell lies to potential...
We stayed at Almayer at the beginning of our Croatia trip, and it was perfect! Very good location (just a minute walk to the old town, the sea and passenger harbour ⛵️🛟). Very nice and clean room with a little balcony (annexe building), comfy bed. Also the breakfast was great (in the little garden), no buffet and very nice options to choose from. This is the best place to stay in Zadar and Hir, so 1. The location is in the heart of the old town, and if you are traveling back in time for the first time in Zadar, this is the best place for 2. It is a historical building, if you love architecture and want to stay in a building with charm and history, this is for you 3. I rated this place based on the breakfast only as I didn't stay there. I was desperate for decent breakfast and I wasn't disappointed at all. The fruit bowl and yoghurt was amazing. Everything I ordered was superb. Love the space :). Well done

Underwhelming
Booked a double bed, got a pushed together twin.
Room was a little on the tired side.
Shower was tiny, leaked over the floor, and had the toilet immediately in front of it (had to step out diagonally).
And not their fault, but the road to the hotel was blocked, so had to walk with our luggage some distance to get there. No communication to inform us of that.
Lovely hotel
A hidden gem! Fabulous hotel and staff. Everything was great and I will come back. The breakfast was great.
Great service, perfect what we were looking for. Spent 1 nt. Quick Uber into Old town. The bar/restaurant staff were very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Only 25 mins to Zadar aiport.
The staff was extraordinary and very accommodating
I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, balcony overlooking the sea.
There is even a hot tub to use outside and spa facilities.
There was a bus stop opposite the hotel which was perfect to go into the town (15minutes)
The hotel was very homely and the staff were all excellent.
I would highly recommend to others to stay at this hotel!

The room facilities are relatively simple and slightly old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The lack of an elevator is a bit of an obstacle for ladies.
This hotel is located in a remote area, but it has its own parking lot, free parking is convenient, the room is clean, and the service attitude is very good. In addition, the breakfast is rich and cost-effective, so it is recommended to consider it. 😁😁
Close to the road, too noisy! The room is also old.

Very pretty and clean hotel, from the lobby to the rooms. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Staff were helpful and polite. Close proximity to the old town, by car. Only regret was not having time to visit the spa with indoor pool and sauna.
Don’t book a comfort room. Place is tired.
Room was clean. Comfort rooms all have awful views over the kitchen and air duct system. The air conditioning didn’t work. There are no lifts in the building. Felt a bit tired.
Had a lovely three night stay. Went half board and the food was good. Staff are so friendly and helpful, all of them 😁.
Gorgeous hotel with fabulous food on a great beach
Great hotel on the beach. Our room 207 looked across the garden to the pool with a glimpse of the sea beyond. The pool is gorgeous. The meals were amazing. The room was clean, but small and outdated, shower very small, confortroom view is a roof top!!! Which was very disappointing. Beach is not private its open to public. Had to pay extra to change my booking dates and it wasn't worth it. Old hotel, about 1 hour walk from old town, over all wasn't satisfied.
Really nice find. Our flight got cancelled. We were delighted to find this property on short notice. Staff is wonderful. Location is perfect for walking, beach access, and restaurants. Nice place, clean and strategic position. Only bad side, room too small, and toilet almost not separated from the main bedroom.
Very clean rooms, towel chance every day, friendly personnel, right in the middle of the centre without being noisy. No restaurant but plenty of possibilities next to the door. Appartment with thirt sofa bed, no lift. Seperate beds so ideal for friends.
Place was fantastic!! Very comfortable, clean, kind.
Room: it's a mix between the old building and the modern furnitures, the touch of glass, and wood with bricks, it make you feel elegant but cozy.
Bed: two individual beds, which in our case were united, quite much comfortable, with soft sheets. As well, in any case you feel cold, there are duves available in the closet.
Air-conditioned perfectly...
Clean hotel, great location in the old town of Zadar.

Great place! Two of us stayed here in August. The location is very close to the old town, just cross the bridge. Comfortable and renovated room, in an inconspicuous building. Suitable for a short visit to Zadar. Well located, 5 minutes walk from the center, and with public parking at 0.50 euros per hour and free at night.

Nice, clean, great service. Great location, 100 m from the bridge to the old town. Disadvantage - no kitchen, even a tiny one. Other than that, ok. Very ok.

Location is great, so close to the center, and free parking in the street! Just difficult to find, and from the outside it doesn't look like much. Rooms were fine and excellent contact with the owner. Only the large shower head and an awning of the window did not work.

We went to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff was so welcoming & the food was amazing! Will be back next summer when we come visit my husband’s family again!
Unfortunately not stayed long enough and the promenade in front of the villa is in refurbishment but for sure for the better. The rooms are amazing and the staff is awesome. A place to come back for sure.
The room and bathroom were perfect, the staff is just so sweet and the access to the sea right across the road is perfect for sun bathing and swimming. The breakfast is good and has a lot of different possibilities and the menu is delicious. I would 100% recommend this place if you want a good and calm hotel not too far but not too close to Zadar.
Nice family hotel with awsome postion, next to the beach. Parking is vailable on front. We enjoyed staying here and would recomend it. Great restaurant and service. Conection to the city is easy with bus station in front. All in all great stay.
Villa is located is fantastic spot exactly opposite the beach. Good breakfast every day. Rooms is clean but little bit dated. When you going to swim you need to wear rubber swim shoes to protect your feet from Sea urchins.

Had a minor miscommunication with the host prior to arrival. Otherwise everything was great. Convenient location. Room was great.
Hotel is beautiful with great ambiance. Conveniently located and top room has a fantastic terrace. Only complaint is that they didn’t service the rooms very often.
Positives: Clean room comfy bed
Negatives: No staff on site, needed a code to get into the hotel, my key was just left in the door to collect. The same key works for the front door so am concerner that key coulr be used in any door which is a security concern
This property was beautiful, and the location was ideal. It was beautifully decorated, it was comfortable, and it met all our needs. The parking is a bit tricky, so be careful where you park. Room No. 003 on the first floor was very small and closed, with no windows to open and no air circulation, so I didn't want to stay in the room at all except during sleeping hours. It feels much simpler than Jinjiang Star. Really, the stars abroad are not the same.

The room is small, the bathroom is small (fairly clean), and there is no drinking water in the room. You need to buy it yourself. The breakfast does not have many kinds, but it is quite exquisite. We were traveling by ferry to Zadar and picked Central Apartments because of its location to the ferry port and it is in the middle of the Old Town. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. We especially liked the breakfast selections available to us. We would gladly stay here again if we ever visited Zadar.
Location was fantastic but be prepared to walk up lots of stairs. Old city centre totally walkable but this always means parking is a few blocks away. Breakfast included plus discount if you eat any other meals there. Suite itself good, but unfortunately smelly bathroom drains that may be due simply to an old building that the host may have no control over. Keep the door closed so the sleeping area...
Karlo was really nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff was impolite and the units smelled bad. Location was terrific. Lots of stairs up so don't stay here if you're not mobile.
The room itself was fine but keep in mind that only the check-in is at the given address. The rooms/apartments are scattered around town up to 1/4 mile or so from the check-in desk.
For the money paid it is not worth it. Small room with no charm. Host was incredible though. If it was not for his attitude I would be disappointed. It worked for us for one night, but longer stay would be problematic. Overall Zadar is not worth a trip. Sorry
