The surrounding area was included in the Czech history. Above the Prague Rokovym was the battle at vítkov, under the leadership of Jan Zizka. Currently, there is a Park with a unique view of the city and is a monument on which Jan Zizka is depicted sitting on a horse, is the tallest equestrian statue in the world. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are many not expensive, but good cafes, pubs and bars. Town centre is 30 minutes walking distance or 2 stops by bus to the Florenc metro station, which is a 10 minute walk to Republic Square, where begins the Old town or from the Florenc metro station at a distance of 2 Ostrovki by tram.

Location: in Prague, in the Zizkov district, 10 km from the airport. To the city centre and Wenceslas square can be reached in 10 minutes by tram. Lipanska tram stop Biskupcova and are 600 metres away, and the Krizikova metro station is 1 km away. Less than 500 metres from the hotel there are parks Vítkov and Parukářka.

The rooms were very clean with great amenities. We weren't a big fan of the breakfast but I suppose it would be matter of opinion.
The hotel is a short walk to the train station with just a few minutes on the train and you're in the city centre.
I would certainly stay here again.
They have a small and ok breakfast menu.
Staff was very friendly and helping.
It is the first time I have came across a hotel which do not have kettles in its room due to “safety” reason (as told by reception). So we have to ask for hot water with cups whenever we have to make tea or coffee, and because our room phone was not working (informed reception but no action for 2 days of our stay there) this meant that my kids have to go to reception and bring the cups with hot water themselves.
The hotel is situated in a rundown location, which although is very close to main tourist attractions, i. e. Old town square (30 minutes walk or CZK 65 Uber) but I wouldn’t want to stay their with kids. It’s look like a deserted neighborhood with graffiti everywhere.
