Monastery Garden Prague in Prague

This is a really nice hotel in a lovely, quiet part of the Old Town. It's a perfect base to explore from. Some great restaurants and bars sit very close (the Orange Bar is recommended). Our room was small but very comfortable and made up every day. A little bottle of Prosecco was waiting on our arrival, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again. Don't forget that you will be subject to the city tax when you leave ( about 2 euros per person per day ).

It's difficult to imagine a better place to stay in Prague. Room and hotel spotlessly clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had everything - cooked and cold meats, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurts etc. It didn't appear to be busy (March) but it was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. They even offered and provided a packed lunch on our last day because we had to leave before breakfast started. If we go back to Prague, we would stay here again.

Excellent and professional staff. A warm welcome from reception and all staff present. Breakfast was incredible with gluten free options. The rooms were well appointed and nice and warm inside with all the amenities needed. This hotel is an easy walk to all desired attractions but in a quiet street away from noise and tourists.

Christmas getaway. We booked our stay with Jet2, mainly to experience the Christmas markets. The hotel is over several floors but no elevator. We booked a double room but we were upgraded to a spacious double with a en-suite shower room and a separate toilet and living space on the top floor. Room was cosy and warm even though it was cold outside. Staff were very friendly and professional. Everything was clean, tidy and well presented. Breakfast was plentiful and had a very good mix of continental meats, pastries, bread, fruit, cheese and also hot options including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. The hotel is located within the old Town but less than 10 mins walk from the old town square and less than 5 minutes to the Riverfront. Lovely peaceful location. The hotel was quirky but steeped in history and old fashioned charm. We loved the romantic feel. We would definitely recommend this hotel but be mindful of the spiral staircase if you have suitcases!

The hotel is set in a quiet area of the old town but within easy reach of all of the tourist activities such as the Christmas markets. It has loads of character and history. They serve excellent breakfasts including bacon, eggs, sausages, cheeses, hams, breads, cakes, fresh fruit and yogurts etc. We had a problem with room 200 due to the fact that the double bed was up against the wall for at least half the length. This meant that you had to slide down the bed to get off it. Not ideal so when we asked about changing rooms they did so without any fuss. The hotel has no lift so this may be a problem for the less mobile. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice staff lovely clean rooms. Food is good. If you are not good at going up stairs to your room, ask for ground room. Yes we will stay again. Nice and central to get to square

The buffet breakfast was lovely and was kept well stocked by the staff who were very polite and friendly. The rooms were large and very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful location. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Dinner in the Hotel’s Bistro was top notch.
