Disappointing stay – unfortunately not recommended. My girlfriend (21) and I (24) were looking forward to a relaxing wellness weekend in a "spa hotel," but were disappointed on multiple occasions. Upon check-in, we were given unpleasant looks and asked in a rude tone which language we preferred to be spoken to – even though I speak both English and Czech. Breakfast was very meager and monotonous – hardly any choice, hardly any flavor, no spices, no salt. The rest of the food was also lacking in variety and of disappointing quality. Although the hotel markets itself as a spa hotel, the whirlpool costs a whopping €40 for 20 minutes – you only find out about that once you get there. The wellness offerings in the booked package were mixed: The cosmetic treatment was fine, but during the so-called "cellulite program," we were first scrutinized and then asked "what they were even supposed to do here" because we were slim. That was unpleasant and tactless. Instead of an alternative treatment, we were simply not offered anything at all. The parking was also a disaster: The website said it should be easy to find one – but in reality, we had to park 1.5km away in a public parking garage, which cost another €37. The advertised facilities, such as the salt cave, spa area, etc., are very small, and during our stay, they were constantly busy. There was no sign of relaxation. One particularly annoying point: one day, the water system didn't work – showers were either cold or not available at all. The website stated that you'd get a free drink if you paid for it. But there was no mention of this on site; we weren't even approached.

It is hard to find what is good in this hotel for so many things are mediocare or just bad. Starting with rooms: they are old, like really old and ran-down, the facade of the building and hotel website completely misguide you with its actual content. NO AC, avoid coming in hot months like July or August. Food is often served cold, and can run out in the first 30-60min, no refresh. Variaty is not 4*, some 3* hotels in the western EU serve larger variety. Service is in Russian only or in minimal English, no German or sometimes not even Czech. Try to raise a question about service or quality, half of staff "will not understand" or cannot discuss (even at reception). Sauna is small, two rooms but if there are 5-6 ppl it is full. No pool and no gym. Nice addition: every morning at 6 a.m. a trash truck comes, slams all containers and wakes you up. Also there is contruction going around, thus during the day there is no peace either. It is at most a b&b with a sauna. If you used to normal EU level of 4* hotels stay at another place, better chances of good experience and quality/money.
