It’s very good option when you’re travelling by car and would like to escape from the city life for recall what is a real nature and silence. The hotel is nice, the breakfast is testy with enough to choice. The staff is friendly, kindly. The SPA is not to big but it’s enough for enjoying like for romantic couples the same like for big families with children. Free car parking! And if you would like to continue with Thermals it’s just 20 min from the central colonnade.

We recently spent a wonderful few days at Zámek Lužec Spa & Wellness Resort with friends. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, especially the team in the Krčma Pub. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and added such a warm, cozy vibe to our evenings with great beer and chatty service that made everything feel special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully styled in that charming hunting chateau atmosphere. We loved waking up to the peaceful forest views and fresh air. The food selection was great! Rich, varied, and delicious options at both the restaurant and the pub. The surrounding nature in the mountains is breathtaking, calm, green, and so relaxing. And the facilities made the experience complete: the swimming pool and sauna were great after a day of exploring or just doing nothing at all. This place is great for resting and recharging. If you're looking to escape the busy streets, stress, and noise of city life, I can't recommend Zámek Lužec enough. It's the perfect calm retreat. Plus, Karlovy Vary is just a short drive away for a lovely city walk, with its famous warm mineral springs and colonnades. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay!

Really awesome hotel in the forest. Calm and relaxing. Rooms were clean and the service was good. Not the cheapest one but it worth it. We also got a massage which was excelent. We will definitely come back again.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms too. The surroundings are full of forests. Dinner has a weaker selection, but it's okay. Breakfast is great. Wellness is beautiful. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas are great. The big dissatisfaction was with the massage. I've been going to massages for many years, but what masseur Igor did was a disaster. I've never ended a massage because of dissatisfaction, but this is the first time I have. Otherwise, everything is beautiful.

The room was amazing and in a beautiful rustical design. Clean. The serving staff was also very nice and helpful. Wellness was also nice. The whole place was beautifully quiet. The only but a big drawback was the quality of cooked food, it was like in an average school cafeteria. Like piece of meat with universal brown sauce? Well, that was definitely not our expectation. Also, all of the breads were really the cheapest ones what you can get in a supermarket. Also, quite a bizzare thing, in front of the cafeteria was an atrocious figurine of a princess.

This is our second time staying there. We really love it. It's an amazing hotel with great service.
I must say a very big thank you to the receptionist Adela Korandova she was really nice and very helpful for every single request, she really made our stay easier

The hotel building and area were very beautiful. Although location was very remote, with no easy access to a restaurant or anything like this. We enjoyed the spa access, despite spa area being quite small, we were lucky with small amount of visitors at the same time as us.
Biggest disappointment was the food, dinner selections at the buffet was very poor, dry meat, cold French fries, boiled potatoes with black spots. Only salad bar provided decent options. Breakfast was slightly better but with very limited options. Overall we found food too expensive for what it was, making the whole stay not really worth the amount we paid.

We stayed at Zamek Lužec for 4 nights at the start of January (family vacation) and enjoyed our stay a lot. The castle is great with its medieval interior. The location is perfect to reach Karlovy Vary and ski resorts. Also, a lot of other options can be found near to explore nature. The food was above our expectations. The spa and pool area was very warm so we enjoyed the relaxation a lot. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

More a 3 star at best - the hotel looks grand and the spa has all the amenities but it’s hardly a 4 star experience. Long check in times, expect to share tables at meals rather than have a private one, showers are sometimes cold we had to go without one day as it was cold all evening, the spa is not the cleanest with used plasters and tape left on the floor, towels aren’t replaced if left on the floor, we had the same spa towels for 4 days. The food is basic, the rooms are sparse and don’t include the usual toiletries you’d expect from even a 3* hotel, no iron, kettle or coffee making facilities. They don’t even provide slippers in a spa hotel!!! The food situation is particularly sorry as you arrive, then have to wait for a table and eat whilst the previous occupants plates are cleared which isn’t very hygienic. The spas too busy or there’s children jumping in or throwing balls around, so it’s not exactly relaxing. Looks more like an instagram influencers destination so people can take selfies.
