We just completed a week long stay at JOIA Bavaro and it exceeded our expectations! Everything was clean, inviting and fun. The staff made our experience exceptional! A spacial thanks to Reynaldo and Cofe for providing us the best butler services. They were very accessible and supported us with anything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the hydrotherapy pools on a few occasions, which was an absolute delight. The food was always delicious! The live shows and karaoke were a lot of fun on the ship! Shoutout to the entertainment staff and to “Snoop Dogg” for creating an environment full of laughter. We also enjoyed bumping into Bruno often for drinks! Thanks to Jhonny for helping us pick out tasty bottles of wine. Everyone feels like a family here. We’ll be back!

Wonderful hotel with everything close by. The service was incredible, the facility was beautiful and the food and drinks were delicious. Reynaldo and cafe were on call as butlers and supported all the details of our plans. The entertainment staff Dai, Pikachu, snoop Dogg, black mamba were so much fun and engaged guests in all different pool side games and evening activities. The bar tenders and wait staff were wonderful with Tobias and Angelo and Maya. Everyone was wonderful! We met many people who come.back year after year and we understand why.
The only thing is I would not do the swim up room again as I enjoyed being at main pool and would have liked to have the jacuzzi tub in the room.

Our two butlers Armando and Houston were wonderful. There was valuable information. we did not receive such as what happens if we mistakenly left our safe open and don’t use the tapwater to brush your teeth lol.
We really did have attentive service from the butlers and overall from the staff. It was excellent. The food was adequate, but not spectacular. It says something when the best thing at the resort, food, wise, was the ice cream in the buffet and the welcome drink
We had problems with our jetted tub and had to request repairs three times. Also, be aware that the shades that come down to protect your privacy. Do nothing when it’s night time and you have lights on in the bathroom. You’re actually giving a show to anyone nearby
Would I come here again? Yes, as everyone was friendly, but I would probably choose another resort for issues like having more restaurants open every night and fewer issues with some of the basics.

The best ever! Everything is perfect! My only complaint is the beach, in June has a lot of seaweeds but is not the hotel’s fault , they tried to clean everything but it was too much.

Employees were extremely friendly they would go out of the way to make you feel comfortable the place is beautiful the beach not so good lots of seaweed could not use the beach if there’s something negative to say is that the need more pool umbrellas and chair not enough

We loved the variety of the food and clining services, but some nights it was too loud music outside till very late. Also, on the beach and in the ocean were a lot of seaweeds.
