Avoid at all costs. Bed bugs all night in addition to mosquitos. Me and my neighbor were scratching all night. I had to wake up every 30 mins. And then I felt something crawling in my pants. And then I see it and catch it.
And NO! IT DIDN'T COME WITH ME. I was in a hotel before for 5 days and not a single bite. Maybe the issue is new but it's there.
Also you can see all mosquitos were full of blood, increasing the chance of disease spreading. What's is more scarier is the bed bugs traveling with you home.

See the photo of the smashed mosquito. And the bed bug caught. It was an adult female. I hope it didn't lay eggs on my luggage.

I had an excellent stay at the Minerva Hotel. Raymon, Karim, Mohamed, and Karim are outstanding receptionists. They are kind, very responsive, highly professional, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back without hesitation. The rooms are clean, the reception is always responsive, and the breakfast is delicious. Thank you to the team! Pros: location, inside privates are aight.
Cons: TERRIBLE business practices, the place is a crumbling dump that is unsafe on the outside.

Sent here for additional cost after their other business (Australian Backpackers) cancelled in the middle of the night upon arrival.

Did not receive a refund on my deposit.

Advantages: The staff is very nice, and the location is great, right on the commercial street.
Disadvantages: The shower water temperature is unstable, fluctuating between hot and cold. There are many flies and mosquitoes, and I got bitten multiple times... The WiFi is very slow. The room is not very clean, and the floor is quite dirty.

Nice place in center of Cairo. Very good staff Also Karim brother is very humble Personal very kind, excellent breakfast. Thanks for everything, I enjoyed a lot my time there. This hotel is really highly recommended. The front desk staff is very nice, warm and friendly. They will answer any questions you have. It is clean and tidy. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Cairo.

Very good..Apart from very loud lift alarm , it was a very pleasant stay.. Remember to turn on hot water if you have a private and it's okay to bargain price!..Friendly staff and very good breakfast....A bit noisy but will return.. Considering location a real bargain aty price point

The reception guys were pretty cool and friendly especially Kareem such a great person with a lovely sense of humor. Thank U for your hospitality and I would definitely come back one day ❤️ By the way the picture was taken 5:30 AM 😅 ..........

Very helpful staff, which we greatly appreciated. Good breakfast. Like anywhere in Cairo, it's going to be noisy all night. AC and TV worked fine. The wifi not so much in the room but in the lobby worked. Decent room for the cost. Housekeeping every three days.

Excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly, especially Karim. The place is located on Talaat Harb Street and close to the metro. The rooms are nice and clean and they have made some good modifications as well. The ambiance of the hotel is great. If you need any help, the staff will do. They also organize trips. I took a trip to Giza and Cairo and it was a very excellent experience. I suggest it if you are in Cairo and don't know where to go. Minerva Hotel is the perfect choice for your stay
