Reviews
What really stood out was the hot shower: strong water pressure and consistent hot water, which was incredibly refreshing after long days exploring Cairo and the pyramids. It’s something many travelers don’t realize they’ll appreciate so much until they have it!
The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Giza who wants comfort, reliability, and an unforgettable location right next to the pyramids. I would definitely stay here again!
The breakfast buffet was also great, offering a variety of delicious Egyptian dishes.
The staff were very kind, polite, and helpful, which we really appreciated.
However, the immediate area caters almost exclusively to tourists, with limited access to local stores or reasonably priced restaurants. For better dining and shopping options at fair prices, I recommend taking an Uber to Arkan Plaza.
On the downside, the bathroom had a persistent sewer smell, requiring the door to remain closed to keep it from spreading into the room. The room itself was small, with barely enough space to open a suitcase on the bed. While the tours offered are well-organized, they were up to four times more expensive than what can be booked through platforms like Agoda or Booking. The rooftop restaurant, despite the view, was also significantly overpriced—I paid $10 USD just for French fries which is more than a complete dinner meal with dessert at any other location.
Overall, while the proximity to the pyramids and the rooftop view are undeniable advantages, the high tourist pricing and comfort issues make this hotel less appealing for me. I was also overcharged my booking included breakfast but they charge me $18 usd a day for a few boiled eggs. The elevator did not work while I was here and none of the amenities equal a three-star place I would say two-star at best. The staff is nice but there's absolutely some shady practices going on here to extort money out of you. I also think that you're so far from other fun places to do things and hang out it's better to stay somewhere else.
We spent 2 nights here, after the first night we changed room because the window looked out onto lots of air conditioners and they were so loud that we couldn't sleep, we got a room facing the street and of course the street was loud..:)

I liked the hotel overall, but my breakfast on 10Oct2025 was overshadowed by a pattern of micro-racism from one server. It also ruined the last day of my Egypt trip.
1. We had to seat ourselves with no guidance, while white guests who arrived after us were escorted to tables.
2. As service began, the server greeted other tables, offered coffee and asked about omelets, but skipped our table and another Asian table entirely.
3. I watched a neighboring table receive with small talk such as “the strongest coffee in Egypt.” When I politely requested coffee, it never arrived.
4. An Asian guest was told a scenic table wasn’t available, yet it remained empty for the entire meal.
5. When white tables finished, they were asked about the food, offered refills, and had plates cleared; our table received none of this.
I asked the server for their name so I could address the matter appropriately, but they refused to provide it. I am attaching a photo for management’s reference.
I have lived in Canada for years and speak English fluently; language was not the issue.
We may be of different races, but we are all human and this kind of racism must not be tolerated in any setting, least of all hospitality.
I hope management takes this matter seriously, implements training and clear accountability, and ensures all guests Asian travelers included receive the same courtesy and respect.
However, the reservation process left a lot to be desired. We booked and paid for a family room with a balcony and pyramid view several months in advance. After reading about others having issues at check-in, we even confirmed our reservation multiple times before our arrival.
When we got there, the situation was unfortunately familiar. As we waited to check in, the guest in front of us was also dealing with a reservation issue. Once it was our turn, we were told that the room we had booked was “under renovation.” Instead, they offered us two separate rooms on a lower floor with no balcony. While the rooms were clean and did have pyramid views, it was not what we reserved — and clearly, our original room had been given to someone else.
We didn’t argue much, as we had just arrived in Egypt and didn’t want to create stress on our first night. But the experience felt deceptive, and based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue.
Despite this, I would still recommend the property for its unbeatable views, cleanliness, and great breakfast — just with a strong caution: double-confirm your room, and be prepared for a possible change at check-in. If not for the booking issue, I would have rated this 5 stars.

Some of the staff were nice, but one man (as mentioned in other reviews) was quite deceitful. He wanted us to book tours through him. He told our tour guide we were not at the hotel, so the tour guide had to wait outside and Whatsapp us to let us know what was happening. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else! Same prices for better places in the area.
Two friends and I had a reservation paid three weeks ago for a triple room.
We arrived at the hotel and it turns out that the owner had rented it out😡
We spent the night in two different rooms, in one of them we had to sleep two people in the same bed, which also sank us towards the middle and it was an ordeal trying to rest.
The owner of the hotel, invited us to some souvenirs.
French fries, various soft drinks, chocolate bars and candies.
We asked him a couple of times if they were free and he agreed commenting that it was pure courtesy, a detail for having confused with our reservation.
To our surprise, the next morning he gives us the bill of what we had consumed.
For not entering into conflict we ended up paying him.
The room was clean, not great but acceptable.
The big downside was the excess noise from the street, if we had known we would not have stayed there.
In the bathroom there was a lot of humidity, drops fell continuously from the ceiling, the shower was horrible, the entire floor was flooded and it never dried up.
Two days after leaving the hotel, we had a mishap which prevented us from returning for our things, so the Egyptian police did us the favor of picking them up and taking them to the airport.
To our surprise, we were missing clothes, money and some objects (three pairs of wireless headphones, two vaporizers, a belt, a Diesel brand sweatshirt, some pants, a brand t-shirt, a fanny pack, some money... etc. ...)
We know without a margin of doubt that he was the owner of the hotel, he was responsible for keeping our belongings.
He took advantage of the fact that we did not have time to claim or file a complaint since our flight left right away.
This guy stole and cheated on us, although from the first moment we perceived some bad vibes from him.
I hope that this does not happen to anyone again, of course I do not recommend staying in this place, we are still very indignant, very angry and helpless.
