Like to stay here. Value for money. Easy to access
The hotel was nice and the staff were so friendly
Good location with fast check in
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — close to the main attractions and easy to reach everything I needed. The Egyptian breakfast was delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made it a perfect choice for solo travelers. I also appreciated the overall...
It just about scrapes a pass - the location was good and the breakfast lady was great - but the photos of the room are deceiving and the guy who tries to fake befriend you at the end of your stay to get a review is annoying and to be avoided. Good stay for a single man who just needs a bed, toilet, shower and air con.
Room clean and big enough, but reception was médiocre, not Kind at all, they dont really lisent to you. 6/10

I would definitely stay here again. It looks a little scary on arrival because the stairs and walls are so dirty but inside is lovely and clean and comfortable. All the staff are amazing. HOWEVER the tours have hidden costs from 10US to 20US The lovely booklet they give you has barely any details and no prices.the Nile cruise I booked was in the dark, the pyramids cost 80US plus tickets which I was...
I arrived late at night and only stayed about 10 hours, as I had another hotel booked for the next day to meet up with friends. So, I can't really comment on the bathroom and such since I didn't use them. The hostel floor itself is nicely renovated and clean, but the building is old, and the room had a slightly stuffy smell. Good service. Well behaved staff and take care of their guests.
This place was a really nice surprise! Good nightly rate for a private room, clean, good WiFi. Excellent location in downtown Cairo. The building it is in is very old but the part with the hostel in it is comfortable and beautiful on the inside.
We had a great stay at this hostel. I booked a private room, which was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a bit of extra privacy. The location couldn’t have been better, everything I needed was within easy walking distance, and it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. A special thanks to Yousuf at the front desk. Prime location, old house, quite casual!
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The location is very close to everything. You can shop cheap trendy clothes nearby. Blaban and other famour food chain is just few steps away. Highly recommended! ❤️
On my last day in Cairo, I used it as a day use as I was leaving late at night. It was a hostel but I booked it because it had a private bathroom. The towels were not as good as those in a hotel, but they were fine to use. You can borrow a hairdryer at the front desk. Soap, body wash, and shampoo are provided. The location is very convenient as there are many restaurants and souvenir shopping (including...
Don't know how this hotel got a high score of 4.6? I won't choose it again anyway. The facilities are extremely rudimentary. There is not even a stool in the room. There is nothing you need. The pillow is so hard that it feels like sleeping on wood. The bed is also hard. I felt sore all over after sleeping.
Great location and good rooms for the price, no one bothers you and staff is very friendly. Working ac. Big recommend 👍

The KMT Collection – Stay Review I stayed one night at The KMT Collection and it was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel has a great vibe, the rooms are very clean, stylish, and comfortable. Big respect to the two young people at the reception — they were amazing, super friendly, and made the stay even better. Everything was smooth and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended. — Ahmed Ali
The hostel is located approx 15 walking minutes away from the Tahrir square. The nearest bus station is 20 walking min away. Food markets nearby. The hostel is inside a residental building. At the first sight it looks a bit doggy in the entrance but this is normal for egyptian flats. It offers a common area. The wifi on the second floor does not work though. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are...
I have stayed there for 4 days it was amazing room ia clean, ac was good, for the price i paid its really a value for your money, location was good its walking distance to too many resto and shops
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are friendly, although they can be a bit noisy in the morning, haha, but that's because my room is right in front of the reception. There are no towels or bathroom slippers provided. The hostel's location is convenient, situated in the city center with various shops, restaurants, and markets nearby. Overall, you won't be disappointed with your stay here.
I chose KMT Hostel since I needed a cheap place to sleep for one night in Cairo. It's well located - I walked there from the bus station. There are restaurants nearby and the metro is close. My bunk bed was comfortable and roomy, though I suspect the room gets crowded when all the beds are taken. The bunk has a personal plug, light and a shelf. Bathroom was clean with good showers. I left early...
Confortable beds, good wifi, strong hot shower, spotless clean, fair breakfast and well located. The downside is that they require payment in dollars. If you don't have dollars, they will convert it into egyptian pounds using the black market rate, not the official one, in my case increasing 62% the amount paid

A good location in the city centre. It was easy to find. I recommend it.
The room presented had nothing to do with the one chosen on the internet, which said it was: I think, 25 m2, bathtub, balcony overlooking the street and I found a room without a window, dirty walls, a wardrobe without one of the doors.
Stayed here during my layover. It’s okay.

The service is warm, friendly, clean and very safe.
The main thing is that it is cheap, the store is a bit shady, and for other prices, you get what you pay for.

A comfortable atmosphere and a great place to relax. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the staff at the registration counter. She was very helpful in assisting me with the online taxi that I had booked. Thank you very much.
The room was really big and comfortable, and getting up and down the stairs was very convenient. The location was also great.
My 3 night stay was great. The staff there were so friendly and helpful. Location is great. Room was good. Some street noise at night but it didn't bother me. I'd stay there again.
I have stayed at Cecilia house multiple times for quick stays. Good price for the location, friendly staff and safe. Better to get the private room if it is your budget.
The staffs were extremely friendly, they greeted every customer every morning with a smile. The breakfast was free and tea, coffee and juice were being served. It was at the top floor, the view of old Cairo in a panorama view of the city. The pigeons were a great decor and kept guests company on the terrace lounge.

This is my second stay in Egypt, and I didn't hesitate to book this place again! I mistakenly thought it was the same location as before and didn't bother to check the updated address or map, so I was a bit confused when I arrived at a different spot. Right in the city center, this hotel is really great. The environment is lovely, and being in the heart of downtown, it's very lively and convenient. I had a wonderful time and would definitely come back if I have the chance. It's truly a good place!
This place is easy to find, right across the big road from the Egyptian Museum! I was a bit surprised by how old the building looked when I first walked in, but the hostel entrance on the second floor was clean. The breakfast was plentiful, and for this price, it's a steal! All the staff members are really kind. The dormitory beds have curtains, and each bed has its own outlet and light, which made...
Not bad. It's quite suitable for solo travelers, and you can meet many friends.
This is a really great hostel. For just a few bucks, you even get breakfast – what more could you ask for? You meet a lot of fellow Chinese travelers here. It's right opposite the museum, tucked away in an alley on the second floor, super easy to find.
Great location, with the gobus stop conveniently nearby.

i honestly love this place, not the first time i’ve stayed there, perfect location, great price and super friendly staff, highly recommended
During our Egypt travels we stayed in WakeUp twice and enjoyed it both of the times. We booked through Agoda with a discount (10€/night for double room). The location is very convenient. 300 meters to the gobus station.
I went there after looking at the reviews and navigation. I had to look for the location for a long time. Fortunately, I met a local old man and a little girl who helped us. We booked the hotel in advance. It met all our criteria: price, quality, and location. We stayed for three nights. We requested a transfer; it was our first time in Cairo, our flight was delayed, and we were worried the driver might not wait for us. I thought the reviews would be terrible, but it was amazing!!! Look at this amazing window view!! (It's true, there were a lot of blankets, and the bathtub was too dirty to use, so I used my own airplane blanket.) Plus, it's only a five-minute walk to the museum. There are 9-seater buses right downstairs that go directly to Dahab. In short, it's incredibly convenient. For 100 yuan a triple room, what...
The breakfast is bad for a hostel. They provided cold food like bread, boiled egg, jam & coffee. The location is good. Smells cigarette near the room area. The wifi is bad. The staffs are approachable. The photo is showing the area around from the hostel view.

The hotel is in a great location, especially within walking distance to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. If you can’t find an Uber or taxi due to traffic—like in our case—you can easily walk there. I stayed with my spouse, and we were really impressed by the hotel’s historic architecture. The wooden craftsmanship on the room door and the high ceiling as we entered were truly captivating—we love houses with...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Midtown. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room itself was clean. The location of the hotel was also very convenient exploring the city.
Run-down property Good location. The rooms are nice, but the property is extremely run-down, almost in ruins, and the surroundings are dirty. I didn't like it.
Our stay in the Midtown was fine. We were a bit worried since it was our first night in Cairo and considering that the surrounding city streets are dark and busy it was reassuring when we met Mahmoud the owner. Firstly, he reached out via Whatsapp to ensure we’d a taxi or tours, we’d already prebooked these but he was the only hotel owner who was upfront and straight with no hassle on the tours....
They are renovating the building and the rooms are clean and comfy. Our room had a balcony so we enjoyed our breakfast there every day. There is a convenience store right at the entrance and so many places to eat and shop near by. There is an elevator! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cracking little place in downtown. Good if you want a relaxed, sociable feel. Nice staff. And yes, the roof garden is a top (excuse the pun) additional benefit, especially at night. I was staying in dorm, all to myself. One recommendation: could do with installing curtains, for privacy, especially when mixed.
