It just about scrapes a pass - the location was good and the breakfast lady was great - but the photos of the room are deceiving and the guy who tries to fake befriend you at the end of your stay to get a review is annoying and to be avoided. Good stay for a single man who just needs a bed, toilet, shower and air con.

Don't know how this hotel got a high score of 4.6? I won't choose it again anyway. The facilities are extremely rudimentary. There is not even a stool in the room. There is nothing you need. The pillow is so hard that it feels like sleeping on wood. The bed is also hard. I felt sore all over after sleeping.

Hotel Vienna is one great place to stay at when visiting Cairo & Egypt. Low priced and extremely convenient location. The Egyptian museum is only a 10min walk from the hotel, Tahrir Square 5min walk as well and shopping streets right around the corner.
