The hotel is located directly across from the Egyptian Museum, on the 5th floor of an old building. Don’t be misled by the building’s exterior, as the rooms have been renovated and are quite modern and clean. The Superior room faced the street and had a wonderful view from the balcony. Almost no traffic noise reaches inside, so you can sleep comfortably. The hotel manager, Osama, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located downtown, right next to Tahrir Square, in a very central and safe area. The breakfast is average—not bad, but it could be more satisfying with a greater variety of options. There is no hair dryer in the room; I didn’t ask about it since I brought my own. You may want to come prepared accordingly. In short, it’s a hotel where you can stay safely, comfortably, and economically. I would recommend it.

We experienced a disaster in this apartment, which is not a hotel because it's located on the 5th floor. For the last two days, the elevator was out of service and the water in the bathroom was cut off because the hotel has issues with the building management. Imagine living for two days without water in the toilet, shower, and sink! This establishment could no longer be recommended to future guests.

The view of the museum is very good. The building has a classical design, very beautiful, and there is an antique iron elevator. I like antique buildings very much. This is an unexpected surprise for me when I live here. The only thing is that the entrance to the first floor is very scary, very dark and dirty, and it feels like an ancient castle exploration. I know that it is a public space, not a hotel. If it can be brightened, it will make people feel better at first.
The attitude of the staff is also a plus. The young guy is enthusiastic and polite.
The location is also very good.
The water heater is not hot, but the staff is very active in dealing with it. Although I came back a little late, I can still take a shower after it is dealt with.
Living on the fourth floor is not very new. The window could not be opened at the beginning, but it suddenly opened again the next day. The museum is very beautiful, but it’s a pity to leave in a hurry. Facing the road, there is a little car noise. Cairo likes to honk, but I have the habit of wearing earplugs and can fall asleep. My companions can also fall asleep without earplugs.
Although the breakfast is scheduled, I have to remind them to start it. It is also beautiful to be able to watch the museum and eat breakfast. The bread is delicious.

They have a new room on the fifth floor, which feels very good. They took us to visit the room. It is much newer than the fourth floor. You can look forward to it.

Rooms are not that great, but for the budget and the location it's a decent deal with breakfast. ( it was not great again )

Recommend you to carry your own water.

Budget friendly accommodation. Nice and friendly host.
The host took care of our luggage for three days for free of cost.

It’s not a hostel, more like a haunted house (with liars). 👻 I would recommend it to anyone looking for a horror-filled, negative experience!

The worst hostel I have ever visit, the place is old and damaged! The bathroom is very cramped! I was shocked when I see it, it’s so far from the picture on the internet I’ll show you the truth, the only good point is the stuff they are friendly.

Only the location was okay.
There were roaches in the room that crawled over the bed and refrigerator and eventually disappeared.
Bathroom doorknob fell off and got locked inside the bathroom after showering, first time this has happened to me in all the time I've stayed in a hotel.
Booked a twin room and there was only one comforter and it had no cover, smelled like it hadn't been washed in years, got a lot of rashes on my body after covering it.
The room was next to the street and had almost no soundproofing, which interfered with rest.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
