Loved our stay at the hotel. Clean, comfortable and near all the sites

Especially enjoyed going to the Botanicals lounge and being taken care of by Amira. She was wonderful and the drinks were delicious. Highy recommend the Date Old Fashioned.

Mr Omar in the restaurant is always helpful especially over breakfast. We are regular visitors and he never forgets us. Great attention to details. Friendly yet professional.

Stayed here as part of a tour. Nice clean rooms and comfy beds. Overlooks the Nile. Great service. Excellent breakfast with almost too many choices. Great outdoor pool. Had supper in the bar srea twice. First time beef tenderloin, tasty, tender snd done perfectly to order. Second fish and chips, grilled chicken and caesar salad, excellent. Both times super service by Osama Mohammed. We would certainly stsy here agsin.

We stayed in the new building, and it was fantastic. The hotel's interior, both the facilities and the ambiance, felt very much like what you'd find in China. However, just outside the hotel, it was a completely different world, truly Egypt. The hotel not only has restaurants but also entertainment facilities, and there's a bank for currency exchange on the ground floor. Everything is very convenient! The location is also excellent. We chose a Nile-view room, and whether it was watching the sunrise or the night view, it was incredibly enjoyable! We'll definitely book this place again next time we visit.

Wonderful Breakfast at Rawi – Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino

We had a truly lovely breakfast experience at Rawi. The food selection was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really made our morning memorable was the service. Two of the servers at Rawi, Josfen and Osama in particular, went above and beyond for our family. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making sure our coffee cups were never empty and helping us with every detail of our meal.

Their thoughtful care and professionalism turned an ordinary breakfast into a delightful start to the day. The combination of great food, beautiful Nile views, and such gracious hospitality made Rawi one of the highlights of our stay at the Sheraton Cairo. Highly recommended!

The service was quite good. Lower floors near the road can be a bit noisy, but higher floors are fine. They upgraded our room type, and the room was large and clean, with quick service response. The hotel has many restaurants; the ramen and fried chicken at the Japanese restaurant were a lifesaver for my 'Chinese stomach' – I really couldn't eat any more 'Western food.' The view from the Nile corner is excellent; if you get up early, you can see a beautiful sunrise. It's a bit far from the airport but convenient for visiting the pyramids. My friend's room was even higher and offered a direct view of the pyramids; with a camera, you can get some amazing shots.

The room was spacious and clean, with complete facilities, though a bit dated. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Old City by the Nile, offering great views from the window – the Nile sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. It's a short taxi ride to the old Egyptian Museum. However, traffic in the Old City center can be congested, making travel times longer. If you want to experience the Old City's charm and the Nile scenery, this is a good choice. Hotels in Egypt aren't the best value for money; they tend to be on the pricier side.

This is an older five-star hotel, and the facilities are, as expected, top-notch. Although the rooms show a bit of age, they're still very good. The bedding was comfortable to sleep on, and the air conditioning was just right. From the balcony, you can see the Nile River.

All luggage has to go through a scanner upon entry, which is fine. However, the scanning equipment is too small; my 28-inch suitcase couldn't even fit through it. I'm not sure how they manage that.

Dining options in the surrounding area are not very convenient.
