Private accomodation in Finland

My single room didn't have a private bathroom, which was a minor inconvenience as I had to use the shared facilities outside the room. However, the room itself was clean

The private twin room was affordable and large enough to spread out my stuff. The staff were friendly and helpful

The Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast

Nice guesthouse close to the Ranua zoo. They let us use their Kota, which we really enjoyed.

The hotel is surrounded by a good environment. The environment inside the hotel is not very good. It is a bit like a guesthouse. The breakfast tastes good. The facilities are relatively old. It is OK. The price is low

Quaint little resthouse , reminds me of something out of Supernatural...lol Clean but rooms are too small compared to the big living/dining/kitchen area! oh and 1 bathroom to be shared amongst 4 persons.... nightmare!

Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating

A lovely cosy place to stay, however the location really is in the sticks where transport is limited to around 3 buses to or from the city with the last bus arriving at 7pm

Cozy and clean room. For breakfast, having to make the coffee yourself is a bit inconvenient. Have to wait for others. Maybe a coffee machine would be easier.

The guest house is located at a walk-able distance from Rovaniemi main bus station and the city centre. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There's a common kitchen for use by the residents

The Arktikum museum and garden also close by so you can easily walk searching for aurora in winter. Above all, the owner and his team was quite helpful

There are condiments and other items, but it was difficult to tell which belonged to the hostel. There are no bath towels or amenities. The staff were friendly, and the women's rooms are well-secured

The nearest station, Sörnäinen Station, has a government safety advisory, so women in particular may want to avoid going out at night. It's summer now, with long hours of daylight, so I didn't particularly mind

Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very helpful even when it was outside of normal hours. The kitchen gets busy at times, but is easy to use

Not a party hostel,Female dorm is cute. Quite and comfortable hostel. people are friendly. Bed is comfortable. For a hostel, cleaning condition is good. Location is convenient, metro,tram stops are nearby.
